Really enjoy watching your videos. We have been getting lots of rain in NC. Hope LA got the rain you needed. This is what southern gentleman farmers look like everyone. I know sometimes seems like the same old thing but your editing and cut ups on the simplest of tasks ie screwing caps on and off really make vids interesting. Also things like are you going to make your shot into the garbage can? Etc. Thanks for what you share with us. I don’t know how you find the time.
Hello Granny! Saying a prayer and hoping you all get some rain for those thirsty crops. Daniel, thanks for taking the time to make these great farming videos. You all stay safe, and keep getting it done!
I had a similar situation at 5:07 last year planting sorghum and happened to notice a bird flapping around agitated in the wheat stubble we were planting into, thankfully saw the bird and stopped, and there were some eggs in the middle of the field. Lifted up and worked around them. If I hadn't noticed them, iirc my tires would've run over the eggs I'm pretty sure.
G’job Triple R family, hopefully y’all will get some moisture to help out. Howdy Granny, hope you and all the mothers at Triple R had a great Mother’s Day 🙏🏻
Daniel here in South Georgia I have seen nematodes thrive more behind millet and Milo. I started using black oats as a cover crop instead of rye to reduce them and it seems to work. It’s not as good as using velum but it’s a lot cheaper
Daniel I'm interested in the corn problem. To me, that sure does look like a nematode problem. If that is the case, there is a simple solution, but one that a lot of folks don't particularly want to hear. A bottom plow! Fortunately, our rotation of corn/cotton/peanuts allows us to break most of our land every third year. After years and years and years of strip tillage on everything, our nematicide just wasn't getting the job done, so in 2019, we took a gamble and dusted off the old bottom plow for our peanut acerage and so far it has been beneficial to the crops that follow the peanuts as well. I'm interested to know what you find out.
I am from Philippines I have a friend name Anthony Degertra Jones a black man from Marion Alabama he is also working in farm, I wish he is working in the farm you vlog...
Good afternoon Granny, hope all is well with you. TAKE CARE YOUR CORN IS SURE LOOKING GOOD. Hopefully you get the much needed rain. Milo must have been a good host for the nemotods . Your cotton is sure looking good and what a stand. You guys all stay safe and keep the irrigation a running.
Looks like your sand trap under the end impact sprinkler is full on your center pivot. Speaking of that, my dad was telling me that your Grand Dad or Great G'dad use to use "mobile" irrigation machines in the valley there in Benton. Maybe ask your dad if he remembers what kind they were? My father use to "call on" your G'dad when he worked/sold for RingAround Seed and Products... (when acid de-linted cotton seed first came out etc)... Back in the day before he and my uncle started farming. He says Dan and his twin were teenagers wrestling around in the yard while he talked to your G'dad... Oh, and he said those "irrigators or machines" use to be stored behind Mr. Bradey's barn (if that helps jog your Dad's memory)... I'm interested to see or google those irrigators.
Isn't the cotton planting your experiment with one seed per hill? It sure has started off fantastic. The corn has a good start as well, can hardly believe it is so tall already and it's early May. And just getting ready to plant beans, wow. Good morning, Granny.
Daniel hope you get a drink here in Ohio we're getting our fair share and we could use a week or so of drying time to get stuff in ground. I don't like to complain about getting rain because we all know that it can go the other way in a snap of your fingers
Beautiful morning to Triple R Farms and Granny from Tennessee! Granny, I pray you had a wonderful Mother's Day last Sunday. Daniel, all crops look great. Good luck for a good harvest. Stay safe and God bless!!!
Most corn grown in the south is used for animal feed. Some may make it to ethanol if shipped by train. Ethanol production isnt big around the southeast.
Hate too break your heart I'm a Alabama fan but Auburn is 1 in the country on agriculture they at one time was in the world every one in Alabama still calls them cow college or corn college so suck it up buttercup

Hello Granny. The explanations you give Daniel set you apart from the rest. I truly appreciate and enjoy the education.

I can't believe you're not getting rain there. Here in Western KY we are getting 3 to 4 inches a week.
I hope you get the rain you want, the structure of your soil is sandy, plants like potatoes grow well in that soil.

Beautiful morning to Triple R Farms and Granny from Tennessee! Granny, I pray you had a wonderful Mother's Day last Sunday. Daniel, all crops look great. Good luck for a good harvest. Stay safe and God bless!!!
It could also be a spot which retained water - pooled. I have seen that do the same thing to corn. The corn had wet feet for too long a time.
Daniel, good looking cotton. Sure hope you get the needed rain soon.
Good morning Granny, Daniel yalls crops are looking really good hope all goes great for you all really enjoyed the video
Crops look great ...why are you watering the Tree line and not just the crops?
Do you singulate your cotton?
Rain is on the way!
👋👵
Didn’t you use a chemical or seed resistance to Nemos
sorry your corn is looking so bad were you had milo its always something with crops that needs extra attention that you wernt ready for
Good morning Granny, hope you have a wonderful blessed day
Is that eating corn or fuel corn ?
Most corn grown in the south is used for animal feed. Some may make it to ethanol if shipped by train. Ethanol production isnt big around the southeast.
Ethanol production is mainly in the corn belt area.
Good morning Granny have a great day
Maybe one of these days this channel will be big enough to get the real University in Alabama to partner with it, lol not that war eagle tiger one.
Hate too break your heart I'm a Alabama fan but Auburn is 1 in the country on agriculture they at one time was in the world every one in Alabama still calls them cow college or corn college so suck it up buttercup
Auburn is our Ag school. Ain’t anybody at Bama interested in corn, they’re studying to be doctors and lawyers! 😂
Just like uf is the ag college in Florida and FSU they study to be degenerates lol jk but every school has they're specialty
@@tommathews3964I’m from Georgia and I know Auburn has a great engineering program and agriculture and nursing.
🇺🇦
Awful lot of glyphosate product going on your corn .
