Being a long time resident Of Balmung I can say this, MOST of the weirdo freaks you meet there come from other worlds.
Yep. I also have a character on Balmung and have been there for a few years, and in my experience the nastiest people are visitors who only come to Balmung because of the reputation it has. A lot of us don’t ERP at all. I just run content 😭 But I have people accusing me of being an ERPer all the time just because I’m from Balmung. I personally don’t even care if people DO ERP, but it is annoying that people make assumptions.
Well, yea. Balmung is closed for transfer, so the regulars would have joined before the reputation it's gotten.
Gonna be honest here, people that write this kind of story must be really good at making stories up as in fan fic. Or they are very mentally unstable.
Probably mostly the former. Especially when you consider that these stories are going to be read in front of a potentially massive audience.
This person has either never left their house IRL or it's made up. Honestly the stories lately seem more and more like fanfic lol. it just reads like a guy writing every cliche about girls he's ever heard. or maybe the lovebringer discord wanted some ad space

Hello. One of the Lovebringers Mods here. We actually all just discovered this video today. The only ads we do are in the Party Finder in XIV. Im not very far into this story but it is already screaming “FAKE” to me. But then again a lot of these drama stories feel that way (both here and in Preach’s Drama Time videos). Especially when the writers make the claim that they are over the age of 15.

Anyone making fart and booger jokes can't be past 15.. or they have some developmental issues. It is ffxiv, and some people literally live in the game, so who knows for sure.
Players who's home server is Balmung are likely not Quicksands degens, a lot of the people there are basically sex tourists from different servers

to be honest, after hearing the whole story, I take pity on the husband. the guy took an L for marrying her. like how she describes her past relationships is a clear indication what may happen in the future. she may deny leaving her husband but just wait when she gets validation from other men again reaffirming her "options"
I don't know why anyone would be attracted to her outside the physical anyway. She talks like 13 year old child.
I can assure you no L was taken here!! We have been Married for a bit over a year now. You must not know or understand body dysmorphia or what it is like to hate yourself or feel like you aren’t worthy of love. Try thinking about it from that perspective. She stayed with someone longer than she should have because she didn’t think she deserved better… Iv been with someone longer than I should have to try to make it work. we all make mistakes and learn our worth over time.

1:18 TBF not wrong. Balmung server is equivalent to Moonguard in WoW when it comes to ERP. About the only reason I visit Balmung is for hunt trains and the occasional raid night. Even that is pushing it, I usually avoid Ul'dah like a bad hangover.🤣🤣🤣

Cringe story just to flex, but only to come off nasty and shallow. Complaining that her first was small? Duh, irl isn't ERP lol. The relationship she got with initially before was just awful. It comes off as her putting up with the dude just for the sake of being in a relationship. That's plain terrible, and of course jumping into hook-up culture afterwards that quickly. Yuck.
