So as someone who works at venues and has helped open a new venue, she sounds like someone who probably operates multiple alts and uses venues and erp for attention and for pseudo relationships. It started really off with me hearing that on opening weekend for a new venues a dancer joined a VC on the discord just to complain about not getting any service request. Any good venue operator would probably note this behavior and request her to not do that as it looks manipulative. She more then likely did this just to have people give her reassurance and attention. Ultimately what she did was warp the mood in the vc from whatever op and the other were doing to being all about her "woe is she". From there we had a trauma dump on their first hangout after the erp. Them becoming close and spending all this time just for her to outright disappear from the game. Even if this was because of irl issues, the way she described it, it shouldn't have removed her ability to interact with op on discord or other places and yet she went radio silent on the game as a whole. She then came back to emotional manipulate OP into a wedding to foster more attention on her and when op didn't bite she went terminal and delete all evidence of herself. All of this just seems like she was living off the attention people gave her and she manipulates her way into getting it. Further more, if she worked a multitude of clubs, cross reference with her coworkers and maybe other patrons if they have had any weird scenarios with her. Not all club scenes are connected but people do talk and if someone is known for causing troubles then it's more likely it will spread between host and workers at venues.
I use to ERP in WoW. Did it for years. Ended up meeting my husband in game because of it and now, almost 10 years later with 3 kids, a house, and a pink picket fence... Yeah, ERPing lead to the best things in my life LOL.
To me, Emily's story just sounded like she was trying to catfish people into giving her money in IRL as the end goal, and she seeks out for those people who are sympathetic and she knows she can take advantage of those people to pry on. It's good to have the intention to help people, but you have to understand you have to always look out for yourself too. OP doesn't really know her IRL so she could've made up all her story for all we know. But based on her decision and changing her last name in game and offering to pay wedding ceremony without even talking about it with OP beforehand, that's a red flag and definitely a crazy person lol I would definitely turn and walk away from that.

i'm glad that, despite things not ending on good terms, OP still walked away from it with a positive message. they seem like a very kind and understanding person.
You can see how long ago the discord was made to help see if it’s a throwaway alt, maybe. I’m not sure, she didn’t really imply she’s poor and struggling for cash. At least not yet. Or maybe she mentioned it a little, but I felt the focus was on how she’s treated and losing a kid. Idk what to think.
I'm marathoning these videos and I'm noticing a trend where in a lot of these, the drama doesn't start until the OP gets involved with RP/ERP in some way. Coincidence? I think not.
excessive trauma dumping like that, in this situation, is deeeeeefinitely a "hook line and sinker" technique to make sure OP doesn't ditch and make her lose a customer.
I'm skeptical about this one. For me it really depends how long it was going on. I definitely feel like there's a chance it started out as a basic "fishing trip" but mightve been something else toward the end. If they were talking for weeks or even months then it's completely possible something real developed in her feelings. I've definitely started feeling certain ways for people for just genuinely talking and especially being listened to. When she was specifically being told "no" to the wedding but then went on to spend $10 to change her name and offering to buy the premium wedding package that's what makes me feel that way. If you're on a quest to get something out of someone it feels really dumb to throw coins into a wishing well that you can see is covered up. It was also never mentioned that she said she had any doubts in her current relationship which is also an odd approach. I do not believe she was honest about everything but I'm inclined to believe it wasn't just one big operation from start to finish. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong but that's just my perspective.
Either 1 of two things happened. 1) Pathra is 100% correct. 2) Two strangers passed by each other in life and if they'd have met under different circumstances, they'd have a happy fairy tail story.
i feel like alot of the ppl that do alot of erp/romance stuff in ff14 are very broken irl, like everyone prolly knows at least one girl with daddy issues or extrema traumatas that seeks alot of validation and basicly "fucks everyone" for attention and validation to feel better. now mix in dudes that rp as girls, same shit differnt gender and also mix in the ability of name change/new disc account/twinks etc. thats a really weird and dark part honestly, i just recently came back after 14 month break at least 1/3 the ppl in discord have changed thier names and avatars to somehting completly different so i cant even tell who that person is anymore, i have to read the old chat to find out who they were. i even know a person who switched to US from eu (she is a bit like emily, erp and validation addicted drama queen) i dont know why but she said somehting so bad happend she had to move to us.
I think the only thing I took from this video is that I hate it when 1 person or 1 FC takes up multiple houses which is completely against terms at this point, taking away available houses from the rest of the people wanting to have one. Completely selfish and asinine and all of them should get a nice fat ban. :)
Yup Emily Tryna use OP's empathy against him and manipulate and when he set boundaries, she made an excuse to move on because it wasn't working. Gross. EDIT: I am also autistic and use to fall for this shit too. Autistic people can be deeply empathetic. Due to our weakness with social understanding, and theory of mind it can be hard to see people trying to manipulate us. I'm 35 and still trying to figure this shit out.
Her story sounded more made up as if it was her character's backstory and not so much her real life backstory. Could be wrong, but that was the vibe I was getting from it, at least.

Frankly, ERP may be the easiest and best way to get into role play. Sex is kind of a natural thing we all know how to do the basics of and we know what we like. The only thing I’d caution around it is like a lot of people are at a lot of different levels of depth some of it’s just very basic and some of it is like experience novel writers setting like the entire scene and capturing even the little stuff you don’t think about while it’s happening. Idk, I don’t do much of this stuff anymore but back in the day I got really into it and the way I started was through ERP cause I felt kinda like an idiot just doing normal role play and I got pretty good at it, according to some of my partners, and that’s kinda how I started to do normal role play although I don’t really do that anymore either.
As well as shedding himself/herself in a positive and innocent light throughout the entire story. Never trust people's stories that always make them sound flawless.
Man, you talking about purchasing someones services. I remember back in WoW, i was on MoonGuard, a male human came up to me and said i wish i was joking, "hey honey"( i was playing a Female Drani i made the character to see how fast i can get cat called) "hey honey, ever make a million in under two minutes" at that i laughed logged off and deleted thats character.

I have a question: ERP playing is OK - I think - but my question: The ppl which are playing this (a lot), have they no reallife sexual experiences? Compared to RL - ERP is embarassing BS
It's a mix. I know some who don't get any and this is more for fantasy and the joy of rp. But the other side of spectrum is also real and they get alot and they just really like sex so for them it's just a fun activity even in rp form.
I've done it in vrchat for years after doing cam stuff and irl. I know it's not a direct comparison, but I did it to fill a void in my heart no boyfriend could fill, which was giving that feeling to others who were less... able. I guess it is embarrassing compared to the real thing, but, it's easier, there's less baggage, and the end result is the same. It fills a hole and satisfies a need, and back in 2018 when I did it, I had a huge chip on my shoulder for people who looked down on it. I still do, to an extent. Simply, some people were less fortunate, and my 'talents' were my chance to do what I viewed as a good thing.

I too am on Seraph and never really thought about the erp and club thing. I've rped and erped on a different game for years. There are a goodly number of people who love to mess with your head and a few who scam for in game money and/or rl money. Anytime anyone started needing in game money or cash I would pull back. Be mindful when dealing in game with others. There are a lot of really nice people and a few jerks. Stay safe.
That “Thank you for your Service” had me dying. My wife look at me like I was crazy 😂😂😂
I just found your channel by accident. I liked the stories so I went back and started watching some of the others. I was really trying to pay attention to the stories but kept getting distracted by the houses! To bad you don't get permission to do a walk through before you end the segment.
They usually have the addresses in the description of the video if you ever wanna check them out!
I'm just gonna be devil's advocate. People need to stop being so gullible. It's the internet, Emily could be a man using a voice changer for all we know.
Early and ready!!
i'm glad that, despite things not ending on good terms, OP still walked away from it with a positive message. they seem like a very kind and understanding person.
This ERP Story is something made out of legends ;) *Keeps eating his popcorn*
I think I might have met this Emily in game before. I was just too detached in RP to give a damn.
Either 1 of two things happened.
1) Pathra is 100% correct.
2) Two strangers passed by each other in life and if they'd have met under different circumstances, they'd have a happy fairy tail story.
I've spent part of my 10 years in FFXIV doing erp it got kind of crazy LOL
i feel like alot of the ppl that do alot of erp/romance stuff in ff14 are very broken irl, like everyone prolly knows at least one girl with daddy issues or extrema traumatas that seeks alot of validation and basicly "fucks everyone" for attention and validation to feel better. now mix in dudes that rp as girls, same shit differnt gender and also mix in the ability of name change/new disc account/twinks etc.
thats a really weird and dark part honestly, i just recently came back after 14 month break at least 1/3 the ppl in discord have changed thier names and avatars to somehting completly different so i cant even tell who that person is anymore, i have to read the old chat to find out who they were.
i even know a person who switched to US from eu (she is a bit like emily, erp and validation addicted drama queen) i dont know why but she said somehting so bad happend she had to move to us.
I think the only thing I took from this video is that I hate it when 1 person or 1 FC takes up multiple houses which is completely against terms at this point, taking away available houses from the rest of the people wanting to have one. Completely selfish and asinine and all of them should get a nice fat ban. :)
Facts 💯
Yup Emily Tryna use OP's empathy against him and manipulate and when he set boundaries, she made an excuse to move on because it wasn't working. Gross.
EDIT: I am also autistic and use to fall for this shit too. Autistic people can be deeply empathetic. Due to our weakness with social understanding, and theory of mind it can be hard to see people trying to manipulate us. I'm 35 and still trying to figure this shit out.
Same. Good luck with that journey.
35 and ur still tryna figure it out u lost the plot 😂
39 over here. It never ends.

Lmao why do I feel like you aren't in your 30's yet? 😂 Try to find a 30-year-old millennial who feels like they got life figured out lolol
Static disbanded? Find new static or start one! Not ERP Addiction LMAO
Her story sounded more made up as if it was her character's backstory and not so much her real life backstory. Could be wrong, but that was the vibe I was getting from it, at least.
Got to love the OP but he just seems really naive. That's sweet don't get me wrong, but you have to be careful and the situation is like this. I wish this guy the best and hope people don't take advantage of him.😢😢😢
Frankly, ERP may be the easiest and best way to get into role play.
Idk, I don’t do much of this stuff anymore but back in the day I got really into it and the way I started was through ERP cause I felt kinda like an idiot just doing normal role play and I got pretty good at it, according to some of my partners, and that’s kinda how I started to do normal role play although I don’t really do that anymore either.
their writing style is so annoying and tryhard dramatized, jeez
As well as shedding himself/herself in a positive and innocent light throughout the entire story.
Never trust people's stories that always make them sound flawless.
I feel that a lot of people start to ERP because they can't find any actual RP. So they just ERP to get some RP.
It sounds like she was trying to get something out of op
Agreed, the push for marriage in game made it really seem like the last push for money
I don't think it's even a woman in rl. I've met so many people like this in this game. You're lucky they left. You'd just he a dumping ground for drama, and if you mention your issues, they'd probably be inconsiderate (from my own experiences)
I love watching these videos... not cause I have ANY IDEA ABOUT Final Fantasy. But, your voice is very soothing.
Did he port to Diddy's house parties ? 😂😂😂
I hoped that I'd be a gooner like story but it was sad and depressing
every drama story that comes in is filled with unnecessary suspense. constantly repeating that this changed your experience in game instead of getting on with the story. "LITLE DID I KNOW"
I was invited to a night party once. 50 percent cat girls and 40 percent lallafel. What your character says about you😂
"little did I know, little did I know, little did I know" Holy shit, get on with it
OP seems like a sweet guy and has a soft spot for people. The guy seem non judgemental as well. Good for you OP.
i agree 100%, this girl just wanted money
25:40 what a coward, erp on main like the rest of us degens.
It sounds so balmung
OP is too naive. "Emily" , under a different name most probably, might be already trying the same thing with someone else.
Are you Au Ra again?
This was an older story I didn't get to edit until now but I actually am an Aura again but this time a Xaela and not a Raen like before!
@@pathra ohhhh, I wanna see
10/10 thumbnail 😂
take a shot everytime he says 'little did i know'
also, too wordy and title was kinda misleading. emily's weird behavior is the content tho
I thought the title made sense since Emily according to OP had an ERP addiction. What would you have titled it?
@@pathra oh hi, didnt know if the title was by you or OP. i just think it was misleading coz it wasnt really OP's story to tell about the friend's ERP addiction. people will click the video thinking OP is the one with the erp addiction.
ERP is cringe imo, there so cool ways to rp but why must it be erotic in an Final Fantasy game? Also the Mods who support such Erp with animations etc are even more cringe.
Those EPers are looking for your character :o lol
@@Suleku They make yoshi p cry
Bro is the perfect mark. Lonely dude looking for a gamer girl uwu gf.
omg half of the video was all like "i had no idea what was coming for me" "i felt like this... i felt like that" and nothing was explained. Reminds me of a clickbait lol. Sorry for op but not a great storyteller XD
I can fix her…
Firsty and thirsty
3rd. Not bad 😂
Go first or go home
I have a question:
ERP playing is OK - I think - but my question: The ppl which are playing this (a lot), have they no reallife sexual experiences? Compared to RL - ERP is embarassing BS
It's a mix. I know some who don't get any and this is more for fantasy and the joy of rp. But the other side of spectrum is also real and they get alot and they just really like sex so for them it's just a fun activity even in rp form.
@@TNobody0214
Thats kinda sad. Watching two Online characters have "sex" with pity, not for this, emotes.
But well... dating nowadays is a journey
Ee-ther. EE-THER.
It's said over 1000 times in-game.
Nope gonna keep saying it how I do, to annoy people like you. 😊
