81cm Shad (Tailor, Blue-Fish) Blue Lagoon Durban South Africa May 2024

A nice 81cm (About 7kg) Shad taken off Blue Lagoon in Durban on a PASSION BAITS BIG STICKY XL in May 2024. It smashed the lure on the surface, and gave a massive run of about 50 meters before getting airborne. At first I thought it was a Garrick, was pleasantly surprised to see a shad.

Really nice to see such a mature and healthy shad. If people stop bagging undersize shad, catching fish of this size would become a usual occurrence.
