People crave simplicity/fulfilling work, especially in nature. I liked the equal emphasis on Pedro the man, and his work. Nobody to suggest, but there's a trend in documenting dying/lesser-known trades and knowledge. It's hard to know what scratches that itch and garners more attention when half of us have social media-induced ADHD.
This was very interesting. I had no idea. Thank you for showing us. Great story telling by the way. You have many talents. I always wished I could be fearless and ride like you all do. That’s what got me watching originally during covid. Oh and your laughter during it all. Up beat and fun to watch
Morgan is one of my closest friends, and when Pedro said "I got sent to a great group of people", he couldn't have been more right. Morgan and his family run an incredible ranch, and getting to follow along watching his videos, and videos like this that he is apart of, is a great glimpse into the world of ranching and farming. I couldn't be more excited for such a great guy like Morgan to be getting this type of exposure. Thanks for the video!
The life of a modern-day sheepherder like this is one I feel like I'd do terribly at, and yet I still feel incredibly envious of. I'll bet Pedro and co. feel more satisfied after a day's work than most of us do...
My father's friend owns a sheep ranch in MT and they have guys that come up from Peru(and I think Venezuela?) to help lamb out thousands of ewes. One guy in particular has worked there twenty years, as the foreman. Now, his wife and daughters live here with him.
Great video, I worked for a rancher who had Peruvian sheep herders. I worked with them during lambing in the spring. they where the best people to work with. They had the best manners and respect for other people and the animals they work with. they where funny and just great people to be around, I enjoyed all the time I spent working with them and learning a new culture. I miss working with them, they are very hard working people And YES,,,,, they where just like Family.
Growing up bow hunting in the mountains of Utah, I have also ran into many sheep herders. My dad and I would always stop and chat and maybe bring them any supplies they may need. They are always very nice and happy to talk.
I met a sheep herder in payson,az. He said he's originally from Mexico and confirmed its really lonely and can't wait to see his family. He has 3 dogs that protect the sheep but also him. He was telling me how he hears the scariest noises at night and lives in fear but needs the money. Cool guy. Hopefully he makes it back home 🇲🇽
We have a friend who was an orphan. The Basks took him in and raised him as their own. He herded sheep with them, in many places in the west. He had so many wonderful stories. It was a beautiful life.
A perfect opportunity for an app to teach English while relaxing in the evenings. Maybe learning Spanish back at the ranch. Pedro you are a man of integrity. Great video.
This was a very heart warming video. His life is humble and simple, he looks forward to always helping his family. He truly sacrifices a lot. Love your channel.
Awsome! Love Pedro..and the support of his American family. So many people come to our country for a better life..and they may be from other countries....but has great opportunities.
Really enjoyed the video, where I spent most of my life there were sheep herders from the Basque Country. Northern Nevada, Elko County you'll find trees marked with dates and the names of a few of the herders who like Pedro worked hundreds of sheep. An interesting life for sure, and if you ever get to Elko, or Boise try the Basque food restaurants, you won't regret it.
These Guys come to Idaho every year. I ALWAYS Stop to Hang out with them for a few hours, Give them Canned food, Snacks, Beans,Rice,Bread and even Treats for the Dogs ( which are HUGE and always stare at me like i owe them money)! Dudes are always Friendly and Cool and Appreciative of the gifts.
What a great video! It's unbelievable how much you have progressed over the years. And Pedro seems like an amazing person, thank you for telling his story.
We have been watching you guys for a long time! We love your channel! With that said, this is the best video! These guys are not recognized with all the work they do, most people don’t know they exist!!! Such a great video!
Great video Broncs and donks. Would love to see more videos like this. Pedro is a very good man. To leave his family to come here to provide them. God bless Pedro!
I absolutely love yalls channel. Yes more videos like this is such an educational experience. People need to know more about different lifestyles. Like for instance Farmers life and where actual food comes from. Just like the Cowboy way of life.. Ranching etc. Great job. God bless
This video reminded me of riding in the Uinta mountains Butterfly lake to Henry's fork came across thousands of sheep but only a couple sheep herders and a few dogs
Hey I'm a sheep herder in monument valley utah.. I love the life an many sheep camps passed down from generation to generation.. thanks for documenting pedros life an sharing sheep herding in mountain life.. 😊
Loved the video! Reminded me of my uncle who worked on a ranch in south TX and I would go visit him and work with him in the summer. Again awesome video!
Great video. You've just shown me things we don't get to see in the area where I live. Northeast Indiana. Just the mountains and forests, the sheep herds. We have some sheep but not herds like that.
I would love to see you do a story with him again in the future ! Ask him what he thinks about his line of work if he happens to still be herding and just his story in general
That was great. As a "dog person" im always interested in working dogs. As soon as you started narrating i was thinking "i hope he has LGD! I want to see his LGD!" 😊
I think you would become highly successful if you were to do more documentaries on the unsung workers like Pedro that have committed their lives to doing a job that matters but goes mostly unnoticed. Ranchers, herders and such. This one was very interesting. I could become a youtube junky with more of this content!
I'm glad your back filming I love your channel I love horses. So when I stumbled across your channel I watched a video and I fell in love! Please do more videos your upload schedule is kinda bad.
I was a sheep herder when I was a teenager. It was the best days of my life. You need to do more of this type of video. Sheep, mules and steep country is what it’s about.
Amazing story. Had several friends who ranched and ran sheep and employed sheepherders, sometimes Mexican's sometimes Navajos. Since America started importing the meat and wool they could no longer afford to keep sheep so went to strictly cattle. Wool sits in the shed and they are unable to sell it so ya cannot blame them. No more sheepherders or camps going up into the mountains. Miss that part of Americana.
I’m very suited to such a life. I love horses and riding, enjoy my own company. I spent 3 months on a mountain -without electricity I brought books but I ended up busy with outdoor tasks like fencing. Loved watching the stars. Working on languages just in case. 😁
My family had a ranch in western Colorado. We ran sheep, cattle and a dairy. Every Saturday we would stop at the L&M grocery store in Collbran for 5 lbs of flour, coffee, beans and a large hunk of some kind of meat then head up to the High Tower mountain in a 1968 truck bed style Bronco. Before the Bronco it was a 1945 Willys Jeep. We would handi man jack and come along winch our way to find the sheep herder, Then the environmental police made us stop. Pack horses added an extra couple hours to the trip.
I bought two Anatolian Shepherd puppies off Pedro but it was up in Nevada on the wine cup gamble Ranch. I have a video of it on my channel. Not quite the quality of content you guys put out but from one Utah to another keep up the good work.
I love the VID so much. You should also go ahead down to the naval reservation to get some videos or imaging on sheep herders down there. There's a lot of cows mules and petroglyphs in the rocks. Navajo's love to talk about history their culture and tradition. Also good regarding america's history ❤😊
Honestly, how can I get a work like this? This is literally my dream. I'm venezuelan, and I speak fluent English. I love animals and I want to help taking care of them.
Do you guys want to see more documentary type videos like this? If so, who should I film a video on next?
Personal I like the documentary vids but the roping video are very entertaining.
Great, love to see more of hound hunters in that part of the world. Love your channel
This was very interesting. I had no idea. Thank you for showing us. Great story telling by the way. You have many talents. I always wished I could be fearless and ride like you all do. That’s what got me watching originally during covid.
Oh and your laughter during it all. Up beat and fun to watch
I love this documentary video but I also really love the roping videos

I bet your right!
What a calm life of solitude, its a big risk letting everything go to chase this, bravo to him!
My father's friend owns a sheep ranch in MT and they have guys that come up from Peru(and I think Venezuela?) to help lamb out thousands of ewes. One guy in particular has worked there twenty years, as the foreman. Now, his wife and daughters live here with him.
Very cool!
A perfect life.

I agree!
I am in chicago...😅
Growing up bow hunting in the mountains of Utah, I have also ran into many sheep herders. My dad and I would always stop and chat and maybe bring them any supplies they may need. They are always very nice and happy to talk.
Some of the toughest men on earth. Much respect to them.👍
My grandpa ran sheep herds in Kane county UT in the 40's and 50's. Thanks for showing a bit of how he might have lived.
I think both owner and header are blessed in so many ways! What an amazing video!
What an awesome video, loved watching through it and it put a huge smile on my face. We can all learn so much from Pedro, such a sweet humble guy
I met a sheep herder in payson,az. He said he's originally from Mexico and confirmed its really lonely and can't wait to see his family. He has 3 dogs that protect the sheep but also him. Great story!!! The sacrifice that Pedro is doing for his family is amazing. There is so much we can learn from him.

I'm crying...I love you Pedro and I thank you ... blessings darlings from Granny Linda in OZ.
Outstanding... This was a unbelievable story. Broncs & Donks you out did yourself on this edit....
Great video. I’ll bet he is far happier than most Americans and manages to do it without having his family nearby.
This was a very heart warming video. His life is humble and simple, he looks forward to always helping his family. He truly sacrifices a lot. Love your channel.
This is awesome. Truly showing the sacrifices people make just to put food on the table .
Thanks for this video. Ive always wondered about the life of sheep herders here. Wow.amazing
See his smile when he said that he liked the work, no hesitation.
Awsome! Love Pedro..and the support of his American family. So many people come to our country for a better life..and they may be from other countries....but has great opportunities.

This was a great video. Well done my friend.

Great Video about the life, taking care of sheep.
Ain't gonna figure it out in a few nights buddy. I am shepherding in the Alps. Oldest job in the world.
I was a sheep herder when I was a teenager. It was the best days of my life. You need to do more of this type of video. Sheep, mules and steep country is what it’s about.

Working on languages just in case. 😁
I have talked with these herders and they are some of the best people. They like their solitude though.
Beautiful country
I think Pedro is a fearless and brave man , these places are notorious for bigfoots, skinwalkers., dogman
good video ❤thanx
If Pedro is there, where is Heidi and her grandfather 🙂🤔
The challenge is that here is New world not Swiss Alps
Dude escaped the Matrix.

i was like this cant be a broncs and donks episode i missed. Then I realized it literally just came out 2 minutes ago!! scoreee
Good stuff and they treat him well
I see the mountain biker and think, "that would suck so much less than riding horses."😂😂
We have 4 Peruvian shepherds that work on ranch in west Texas
Honestly, how can I get a work like this? This is literally my dream. I'm venezuelan, and I speak fluent English. I love animals and I want to help taking care of them.
Look up ranches and contact the managers. There are also tons of guest ranches who need workers.
That has to be one of the koolest jobs❤great country...
