I think saying XIV Endwalker being the latest is a little out of date when Dawntrail just released 🤣

Wasn't Tera shutdown? And I wouldn't really recommend New World to anyone. I'm surprised you didn't include WoW or GW2 instead of those two

I am currently playing OSRS, its gonna take me 8000-10.000 hours minimum until I even become near an end goal. How TF am I supposed to play 10 other games, who probably have a similar timeframe to a proper end goal? I'm not gonna live for 200 years mate

Not all top 10s need to have WOW in it. I encourage to leave WOW out of it so other MMOs can be included and shine.
Everyone knows WOW and what it is nowadays anyway so it does not really need to be on any list anymore.

Mortal Online 2???? Good god come on. That game caters to a small subset of a subset of people.

The crafting in New World isnt good. It relies on luck more than "skill". Star Wars Galaxies was soooooooo much better, and almost 20 years earlier. In new world, you just farm crafting gear, then mash resources into a blender until something good comes out. In SWG, you spent considerable time gathering the best resources, sometimes spwnding months awaiting a good spawn. You then needed crafting gear, which was both more rare and more sought after. Then you gathered your RNG drop alternate components. You THEN crafted what you wanted to make, and made some crazy high quality stuff. Dedicated crafters were both rich, and honored.
Your list doesnt include WoW. Love it or hate it, it is the most popular MMO of all time. It is mandatory to include the #1 game in a top 10 list.
You have Mortal on the list, but not Eve Online? No. Just no. Eve may very well be the most hardcore MMO ever made. Players spend years getting the skills to put their plans in actions, and battles can cost tens of thousands of IRL dollar value. It has it all, combat, space mining, trade, intrigue, espionage, backstabbing, mutiny, and some of the most charismatic/insane corporation (guild) leaders in MMO history. It also has some of the most dedicated, friendly, and giving players any MMO has been graced with. Combat and tactics in Eve have evolved over time, and min/maxing have been mastered to their highest forms. Not to mention the most successful completely player driven economy ever made.
Your list is either poorly researched, or based on games you have played yourself. (excluding ones you have not)
ESO is not a top 10 game. It barely makes top 10 if you only include 15 games to choose from.
I didnt begin this comment intending to be mean or largely negative. I really didnt. But as I typed, I saw more and more just how bad the list was.
If you havent played Eve or SWG, I strongly suggest it. SWG still has some private servers up and running. While it isnt the full experience of the game at its peak, it is more than enough to experience the crafting and profession system. I suggest SWG Restoration.
Another game that deserves a spot on the list is Nexus: Kingdom of the Winds. The game has always had a strong RP community, is largely player ran, and is currently celebrating its 26 year anniversary. While not the largest or most popular MMO, it has been unique and has a deep connection to the players that have kept it alive for so long. Playing the smaller game, you get to know members of the community, connect with them, and forge friendships that extend beyond the game in many cases. You grow to love some people, hate others passionately, and become addicted to the story you are forging with your own character. The game has a deep history, and its citizens are forever tied to it through their own legends. You can scroll through them and see the good times, bad times, achievements, etc.

Tera is shutdowned for PC except privates, Console has latest worst patches (because it just catch up to PC latest) but still its best mmo i've enjoyed and ever since downfall i haven't encounter any different mmo which would give me same feeling i got from Tera combat system and design..
Still wonder what it could be if wasn't developed by company which made this game on stolen assets.. Such waste of possible potential and thanks these "political" problems having re-release or source code is impossible..

I thought the list was pretty sus, and then New World showed up.
New world isnt great, and I would struggle really hard to even call it good. The game world is incredibly well done, the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. The lack of content is apparent in your first month, while any time beyond that is sheer boredom.
