As soon as we got our hands on the Honda CRF300L, we put this bike to the test in stock form and loved the low-end power, classic Honda ergonomics, and aggressive styling. However, there were some shortcomings when the riding got rough. In this video, Kobee goes over all the parts and accessories he added to this Honda CRF300L to make it more comfortable and better suited for the rigors of adventure rides.

The Tusk small tank bag works really well on my CRF300L.
I don’t keep much in it at all times but it comes in handy for small purchases or carrying snacks.
It holds my gloves in the bungee cord and by releasing one clip it moves to the side allowing me easy access to the gas cap. It goes back on just as easily.
It can hold a lot of stuff if you loosen the straps, pack it in good, then cinch it back down.
A pro tip for ya! ~ The Tusk shower cap 🛀🏽 that comes with it also can be used as a rain ⛈️ cover for the tank bag! 🛵🌤️

Best mods for the CRF250L/300L from my experience were:
Ohlins kit (or equivalent) . Absolutely transformed the bike.
IMS tank (more range is must when ADV riding)
1T smaller front sprocket (the bike has the power and it will run the bike up to 80+mph)
-remember this engine is the CBR250/300 street bike engine. DO NOT be afraid to run it at higher RPMs than you would a dirt bike engine. 9k rpms is nothing on this engine when redline is 13k 👍

I’d be interested in how much of a difference a simple gold valve kit and spring setup would change the dynamics of the bike suspension
It makes a huge difference. I went with the full Race Tech set-up (including rear shock with remote Res. High/Low speed comp) set up for my weight and riding style. A little pricey I know given the cost of the bike but well worth it to me. I installed the Gold valves and spring myself, a little time consuming but not bad. Jake the Garden Snake did a great video on UA-cam if you need it. I did up my Preload on the rear shock one full turn overall, from Race Tech baseline, and three more full turns when running my Mosko Moto Reckless 40 setup.
I’m debating between this and the ktm 390 adventure. Advice?

Dear, where you have bought Tusk panniers? Rockymountain? Wnat is number of Tusk panniers for Honda 300? You may also use metall Tusk boxes L. Tusk is the best ever, but Rockymountain site doesn’t open in Russia, i cannot see what frame do i need for Honda 300 2023. Please, answer me what Tusk frame do i need
suspension should of been first thing... racetech/hyperpro/ohlins.... if you're not replacing triple trees, rox risers with vibration dampening... LED headlight...
The stock crf300l wheels are often egg shaped right from new. It would be great for tusk to offer a budget wheel set of these bikes.
What bracket are you using for the baja design light ?
This was a custom little fab bracket that just uses the handguard mount for easy install and removal. - Wes
What light mount did yall use?
This was a custom made bracket that mounts to the handguard mount.
It becames expensive after changing the suspension and the fuel controler.
Dang bro dats huge for a trail bike
No wind screen, no fairing , small tank, lousy headlights , .. not an adventure bike really.
