Thank you for these videos. I bought the sp6 as my first piano, and boy can I use this kind of help! I will keep Watching! Great job!

I really like the fact Kurzweil are getting more into “hands on” front panel controls and functions without the need for menu diving. I hope to see an SP8 in the near future with more splits and maybe a small 8 part sequencer.

cool!!! so helpful!!! thank you very much! please make another videos about the sp6, how to use diffrent sounds in diffrent zones (if that's an option).

So in order to have those sounds available you have to compromise the effects on each sound?

The only issue is it cuts back on the beauty of layering multis. Like mixing a couple of organ patches together for a richer tone, creating a huge synth patch, or designating splits.

Multis are layers of programs. You layer programs, not multis. And you can still layer them using the technique shown. Notice that when he demonstrates the use of the zone buttons on the left, he toggles one off when he goes to toglle the next one on. If you didn't toggle the first one off, then both would be playing at the same time.

Where is the followup tutorial mentioned in the video, about how to reallocate effects?

No sliders for drawbars, etc? Nuh uh.

The 4 knobs on the left can be repurposed to control the 9 drawbars. But if you want 9 sliders all at once, you have to go up to the PC4 series.
