Thanks for watching and commenting. I've never worn LA Sportiva shoes, but have been thinking of giving them a shot as they are supposed to be rugged with great traction. What are your thoughts on them? And I like skinny snug shoes since I have narrow feet. Thanks

The Vibram sole is excellent, I sometimes even go shopping with them. They are very good except for extremely difficult terrain. Road to Trail describes them perhaps best. They are great on both. It's a slightly trail adapted FFMore v4, after all.
True!!! Problem with mine now is that after getting them wet in a couple ultras, the uppers shrank a bit and are just a little too short now. This year, I sized up my choice of trail shoes to 11.5 US. Now I'm going to have to move up to 12 and my road shoes 11.5. To think that 4 years ago, I wore 10.5 road shoes.
@@pushtherun I started with US 9 when I was some 18 years old, 9.5 for a long time, now 10. Though many American made shoes require half a size up. Hoka is 277mm at US 10, not 280mm e.g. as it is often listed. So I am now around size 10, sometimes half a size up.
It's not just age though, running also makes feet bigger. Sometimes not in length but at least muscles, for some unfortunately also increased swelling when running. My Caldera 6 from Brooks just didn't fit in 9.5. Had to go up to 10.

I have the Asics Trabuco Max 2. Works for me anywhere. 😅 I'm guessing the More Trail will be similar. These types are my best option for a "run anywhere but can only afford 1 great shoe" set-up. 😅😅😅
Good choice! Trabuco Max are great too. They would be better on technical terrain as the lugs are smaller than the huge ones on the X More.
The NB is more cushioned and less tight on the toebox.

@@fecardona How tight is the toebox on the trabuco max? I've heard they are pretty wide.
For me they were too tight on my right foot causing blisters. Not sure how to test for "how tight" though. Too tight I guess is whether they cause blisters or draw blood. Double on that when I wore the Trabuco Max. Keep Pushing The Run!!! Dave
