Yeah the reality is alot to many ppl on social I feel cause alot more modern society ever since round 2018 multiple schools, parents and even government parties were exposed to ppl in the community for quite a long while. Feminism, diversity in race. Not all places had that same amount of progress. And not many ppl take that into consideration I feel. That's why it's not surprising to me to see that in Korea. But bc danger and alot of hate crimes do get worse. It does even shock me being trans korean in the west. We really are more likely to be unaccepted than if you were someone in the gay community for e.g. I still have faith and hope tho like Kelsey. I believe the elderly will come around and the majority of Korea will convert
I was wondering why all lgbt k-stars are still holding themselves from coming out. Here's why. That's really sad. Things for ppl seem tragic there. You're a totally admirable person, exposing such issues isn't easy. Keep going 💪
Exactly. Its insanity to me when it's so obvious SOME are clearly gay and public are blinded to it because of church doctrine or ignorance. In this day and age too!

That's crazy! I think it's safe to say that the protesters are gonna be at events like this regardless. They have nothing better to do with themselves. I'm glad that you stood up for what you believe in! As a bi woman living in America, I am glad you showed what went on. People are going to be against anything that they don't consider "normal". So sad to see people like this trying to ruin a fun event.
Yeah I was there for the event. While the festival was great, I was wondering if the protesters had anything better to do. Also I guarantee some of these hypocrites are cheating on their partners right now
I agree. The protestors could have used the time to volunteer. That would create better PR for their religion. The better way to bring people into their beliefs is through positive reinforcement.
@@magnoliaflower3310 bring homosexual people into their religion? Huh? How is that supposed to work when homosexuality is considered a sin in literally every religion? Stop forcing yourselves into spaces where you are unwanted. Stay in America and enjoy it there.

They have always been gay people but they are just closeted. So Koreans who say they dont have gay friends just DONT know they have gay friends. Also as a foreigner who has been to South Korea on 4 occasions I think like all churches and religious institutes - there is a real predator issue within korean churches. I say this as I am always being approached by old men who say they are Christians and they go to church but they are also inappropiate in subtle way. They dont realise I am a neither really young or naive So I think religious institutes all over the planet should sort out their predators before they look outside their community.
I don't get people obsession with "protecting" straightness. With overpopulation and so many parentless kids in orphanages, I would think that people would appreciate us more. We're a great solution to so many problems 😆
Well the modern problem in developed nations is rapid population decline actually and fertility rates dropping rapidly and with an aging population like Korea they go extra hard with the anti abortion anti gay stuff. And no I do not agree with them I am gay as well lol just saying why they might feel the way they do other than religious reasonings.
@@滝野智-y7n I see online Korean women saying they don't want to have children because they can't afford it or because they don't feel respected or supported by their country. You'd think they would focus on fixing those things. Instead it seems like they're doubling down.

In Deutschland sind Religion und Kultur auch nicht so stark ausgeprägt bzw. nicht so lange so stark ausgeprägt gewesen. Vor allem ost-asiatische Länder sind da ganz anders.
I am from India and its also pretty much conservative but not to this extent. Especially the youth. I mean older generation I get it but it's heart breaking to see the young generation protesting against this basic right
What india is probably similar to russia in lgtbq . It's not that great but not the worst . I don't think they is anywhere worst to be gay than uganda ,Nigeria . E.t.c those are top worst anti lgtbq countries
I hope we get more inclusive tho. I am from a remote area in India and some older generation people are trying to understand nowadays. It's just my experience tho it will be vastly different in different areas
I had an online friend from north India, we got pretty closed but when I mentioned the lgbtq+ community she backed off and said she has mixed feelings about them. I feel disappointed, tbh.
even in the most "queer friendly" places in sk, an out-gay idol, Holland, was hatecrimed on the streets with a glass bottle thrown in his face. it's so fucked up and heartbreaking.
korea is very confusing to me. how they mad homophobic??? but then want k-pop idols to do fan service with other idols……..then the fans b gagging over it???
See. K-POP is for foreigners. Native koreans are hardly interested in K-pop groups unlike western fans. There are some passionate girl fans, but they’re considered as outsiders in Korea. Young men here are ashamed of K-pop because they think K-pop makes South Korea look gay
Thank you so much for this video! I appreciate that you showed a realistic and unfortunate side to Korea while still balancing it with the hope. It was seriously heart warming, despite the protests, to see SO many people out in support even in such bad weather. I can only imagine how much more it would have been on a sunny day. That said, I can't imagine seeing all those protesters in person, so I hope you're OK! In America we have homophobia and racism etc. of course, so we have protesters like anywhere else. But to see hateful protests with SUCH large numbers is jarring! Kind of like Matilda said, it's so normal here to be supportive at any age(not to the level of Sweden but still). We even have supportive churches. I was also surprised by how many young-ish looking people were among the protesters. Anywho, I'm rambling. Great video
I do wish more celebrities/public figures would speak up and show proper support for the Korean LGBTQ+ community. Of course, there are some who don’t support, but I have seen so many hold up the pride flag and encourage lgbtq fans. I just wish they would stand up more openly as allies or even gain the courage to come out. It’s going to take that for there to be any change there, just like in other places around the world.

I knew that Korea is very anti-LGBTQ+ but I'd never expect so many young people being there protesting. I was so shocked when I saw how many of them was there ( shown in the video ). I thought that the younger generation will be more understanding and that together with older generations, the homophobia will slowly die...well, i was wrong. Here in Czechia it's not the best too but it's definitely better that in Korea. We are much smaller so obviously there will be less people against it but there's still a lot. And it's also younger people but mostly older men. It was really shocking for me to see all the anti-LGBTQ+ protestors cuz even though it's pretty bad here too, I've never seen so many people protesting against it AT the pride. Like never. As someone who attends pride in Paris, I am so shocked at the presence of anti-LGBTQ+ people at an event celebrating acceptance. However, I am absolutely not surprised at the hostility towards the LGBTQ+ community. Korea definitely has a long way to go in order te accept and fully embrace this important part of any society. Hopefully one day people will be able to march with joy and high spirits as we are lucky to do each year in France. We must continue to voice our opinions and make ourselves known in order to put an end to the ignorant hate. So glad to see you attend Kelsey 😊😊
I attended the Pride parade in Los Angeles as a supporter and there weren't any protesters that I could see. Anti-LGBTQ+ still exists here but it's wild to see just as many protesters as those there in support of the parade.
As an Asian, I am shocked by the amount of LGBTQ+ protests in the West. No wonder we'll surpass the west in a few years in terms of civilization and power
It's impressive how you were able to remain in good spirits despite all of the protestors and the weather, very moving. I had no idea the opposition was so prevalent in Korea
It’s a propensity towards fascism because of their indoctrination. They’re not thinking about what a free country looks like, or the consequences of their actions, only their own desires based off what their groups want . Protesting lgbt people is an act of suppression.
I know, and Jesus said "Judge not, lest you be judged", or "he who is without sin cast the first stone". What part do those churches not understand? I'm assuming they are christian churches.
It is a beautiful thing that there are pride parades in Korea. It is a start. Better late than never. Your generation would be the first generation to become parents who will have gay friends and it's okay for your kids to be gay.
Thanks for showing this side of Korea. It’s good to show the support but also show the anti -LGBTQ people so people know what Korea is truly like when it comes to this matter :)
Hey, if an old catholic country like Ireland can become one of the most liberal in their view towards our LGBT family members, Korea can too. We've had a gay Prime Minister. While we still have criminals who attack LGBT members the majority of the population support LGBT rights. We all have relatives and friends who are gay.

If I'm with a guy, or a girl...how does that influence your life? Yet you'll call me slurs, attack me, discriminate and damn me to hell for *holding a woman's hand and loving them* ???
this is heartbreaking Kelsey 🥺 this is too many people, too much repression... I wish every korean queer person could just live their lifes being themselves openly 🥺
The change of atmosphere between the anti-pride protestors and the actual pride march is astounding. I'm glad that Korea is walking slowly but surely towards human rights 🏳🌈
I live in a third world country and this is pretty much like people behave here. We also have a gay US ambassador and people were complaining about it since day one. It's completely disgusting and sad, I've got to a point where I just can't stand religious people who act hateful against LGBTQ folks. Hoping for your and for the other fellow LGBTQ peeps' well-being, that situation changes but seeing that amount of protesters I don't think change will come any time soon 😕
My greatest exposure to South Korean culture has been through watching K-Dramas on Netflix. I thought Koreans were more excepting for choice. Freedom of choice. Obviously, I was wrong. There is a lot of opposition to that gay pride festival. Thanks, for showing what is real in Korea. No K-Drama.
Btw this is not every korean view on the matter . Same in africa too . Africa is known to be very homophobic as the level of the middle east ( middle east is due to islam ) but not everyone in africa thinks the same . I'm african and they still some people who are neutral or don't care but homophobic people just force everyone to view it negatively .I always grew up to see lgbt on foreign shows as a kid as normal .I'm probably sure they are also middle easterns ( muslims ) who don't really care too ! .
Thank you for uploading this, it was very interesting. So many things I saw here would be classified as a hate crime in Australia. It's important to document this stuff. In future if Korea does progress on LGBTIQ+ rights, some people will try to deny that y'all were ever mistreated, so you have to document it.
Still I wanna go to a pride with my friends in Korea and do just like we do in France : boys in minishorts/ miniskirts /crop tops and us girls in pants/ suits (because people need to understand that fashion doesn't have any gender) and I won't care if Korean anti-lgbtq will glare at us in a wrong way. And ofc we must walk with our beautiful lgbtqia+ flags on our back✨
proud of you guys, being visible is so important, if nothing else for the people who can’t come out, so they can see that there’s a place for them and that they belong and have value just the way they are. i know things can change, it will just take time. i’ve never been to a parade with this much pushback before. i’d love to be able to walk there with you some day.
OMG Kelsey! What’s going on with those people??? All their values are up side down? The most important thing is to be a good person of good character and not who this person loves. Love is love and this is it!!!!! I can’t understand/ accept any kind of prejudice… I’m wondering how difficult is living in place where you need to hide yourself, because you have afraid or because of the society… I have many GAY friends and I really love them all exactly as they are!! That’s why I support the LGBTQIA+ cause and these kinds of human beings behavior always brings me down… We’re all equal 🟰!!!!!!

Kelsey you did amazing and don't listen to the haters. As a support of LGBTQ we always stand to have our gay rights heard. I also attend pride parade in New York City and it was awesome . From NYC to Korea we support LGBTQ we are born this way to show love.
Tbh I’m not the slightest surprise, it looks exactly like I expected it to be. There ain’t much coverage about Korean politics here in Germany, but small pieces we get and consuming k media regularly, shows how deeply conservative this country is. Being conservative isn’t the problem (at least in the way we over here understand that word). The problem begins when you use that as an excuse to be homophobic, xenophobic, racist, antisemitic and everything else for what you lowkey deserve a beat up. I’ll never understand the hate from religious groups. At the end of the day is for example Christianity about love itself: the love that the lord has for us his children, the love he has shown us by sending his son down to pay for our sins, the love we should have for each other and our surroundings . I truly don’t understand how this excludes a group that is all about love too. All these people want is to love freely themselves however they want and whoever they want. The LGBTQIA+ community is the love itself. And to bring it back to my point, if your religion teaches you to love your neighbors, the people and the things around you how on earth can you sit there and deny people the wonderful feeling of love itself. I’m actually hella disgusted and pissed by this.
I'm from Thailand, I think everyone is equal as a human being and I support Korean LGBTQ+ so much. I impressed you and everyone in this pride walk in the rain so much. I wanna to encourage every Korean LGBTQ+ fighting!! be happy everyone.
Yes, everyone is equal, no one is above others naturally but spiritually some have fallen to the same character of demons, follow Lord Jesus Christ, don’t be deceived, your soul is very precious, don’t give it to the devil who wants to lead you to hell, please. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 “9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people-none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.”
@@hardcoregamer6508 yes, God is kind that is why He gave us the Bible to learn the way to Heaven is only through Lord Jesus Christ and living like He did. The Qu ran is false, please study the Bible. *1 Peter 2:21-23 NIV* "To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. “He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly."
I'm literally shocked, because I never thought protesters would be like this, with booths and stages and people singing (?) Here in Brazil, we have one of the biggest (if not the biggest one) pride parade in São Paulo (with more than 4 million people), and a lot of religious actually go there, not to be against (it was like this in the past), but actually to invite LGBTQ+ people to go to church, to say Jesus loves them, to ask apologies for how church treated us unfairly for so long. Yeah, we have a lot of homophobic people here, but I think they express their feelings when they are only with people who think like them, because if they around us, they don't spit bullshit on our faces, because that's crime (The Supreme Court ruled in 2019 that cases of homophobia and transphobia were applied in the law dealing with racism, thus making homophobia a crime.) But on the other hand, I'm happy to see so many people going to march in Korea, even raining a lot, and being like: "Hey, I exist, I'm here, and if you don't like me, go f*** yourself." This is actually a progress, and we have to keep going. I hope I can be there next year to support you guys :) I love your videos, and it helps me a lot to understand your culture, because I translate K-dramas subtitles, and it's good to understand the context, so I can translate everything properly. This touched my heart. Equality for all people, regardless of ethnic origin, age, religion or sexual orientation. It doesn’t matter. I am a heterosexual woman here in America and I support people’s right to be who they are meant to be. This March is so touching to me. Stand up for Gay rights.
I was there and this video really shows how wild and loud it was! And rainy, oh my god.. It was really important for me to go and I'm glad I was able to experience it and see what it was really like. It's important to show the reality.
I’ve been to quite a few protests in America where the conservative opposition is usually armed and frankly, stupid. Armed and stupid. There is some sense of joy in the feeling of rebellion, knowing you are outnumbered but on the right side of history. It felt good to be that person. I felt proud of myself.
I can't help but feel gutted by the level of opposition. I didn't think it would be that bad, but it is kind of intimidating... The fact that there are so many... what does that say about the people you interact with on a daily basis... how many of them wouldn't accept who you are, and would do horrible things to you if they were to find out... It's just a scary thought to me Anyway, I was in Korea during this festival, but I did not hear about it, nor did anyone in my surroundings tell about it, but if I had known, I would have totally tried to join. I don't even join these things in my own country, but the big difference is that in the country I am from, lgbtq+ is more generally accepted. Doesn't mean that incidents don't happen, but you definitely wouldn't find such a massive opposition at the festival. I would have joined the wonderful people who fight for lgbtq+ rights there and show that we will never live in fear because of the opposition. 🏳🌈 Also thank you Kelsey for another insightful video, I am binge watching all of them!
Similar things are happening in the US. Many Republican states are banning LGBTQ2 education and support in schools. So glad I’m Canadian where education and support in schools is improving every year.
I mean India is not as "progressive" as South Korea but still I have never seen any protest during pride parade. One happened in my city (trans pride march) And my city lies in the religious belt but still no protest. I was shocked to find the massive protest in South Korea where a lot of people are irreligious.
Officially South Korea is 35% christians. But the problem is that South Korea has total 374 protestant bodies, but the government was only able to count 54 protestant bodies and it was 35% of the population. Guess how many it would be if we count all the rest of 320 christian bodies.
I didn't know Korea was that homophobic Honestly as an Indian its quite homophobic here too but the younger generation who are like under the influence of social media and understanding with like better education are less homophobic and also the school I go to half know that I am bi (I go to all girls school ,how ironic🤣🤣they said no boys so here we are)and are very supportive of the lgbtq culture in general (they are dangerous, I flirt and they flirt back just the same lol) My friends at my coaching institution know that I am bi(although all don't support they don't hate or look at me differently either we are friends just the same) For me coming out to my friends was easy since I am like "bitch if u break friendship for this then u were never my friend and I don't need ppl like u in my life" cause I am a very self centered and selfish person who thinks that as long as I am happy I have the capability to make others happy Fun fact: my mother is old fashioned who doesn't allow me to wear shorts but I didn't need to come out to her . One day she is on call with my aunt and goes like "um ....yeah so my daughter likes girls " and my aunt goes like "yeah its not like she is committing a crime" I was feeling a lot of emotions and wanted the earth to swallow me up (my mom knows I have a crush on a girl lol but I haven'tcome out to dad yet and I don't think I need too I will just surprise him with a daughter-in-law👀✌🏻)
Great vid as always Kelsey. Great to see the LGBTQ parade numbers go up every year. The age difference between the 2 groups is pretty clear. Im British Korean living in London and they had their first pride march in 1972, we had ours in the mid 2000s. It's obviously frustrating but we are decades behind, we will get there in the end it's just gonna take time, with the internet it has to go faster.
" You cannot change your gender, end of question" See that's where you're wrong buddy, matter of fact, im doing it right now. Score 1 for me, 0 for you
Nothing against the festival itself but is there a reason why it was held IN FRONT OF A LIBRARY? There were swarms of anti-LGBTQ protesters ringing gongs, preaching random bible verses etc... It was terribly noisy, but because they were outside we just had to endure it. Same goes to the festival attendees who really had to change their clothes in b1 braille book section...
Honestly, it's kinda like this in the US too so this isnt that surprising (to me at least). The alt-right here are outspoken and very religious (usually homophobic). Even now Roe V Wade was struck down by the Supreme Court, which means abortion isn't a legally protected right anymore and left up to the states to delegate. Most right-winged states have made abortion pretty much illegal. Some states have banned it with no exceptions (even in cases of SA, incest, and some medical cases). Even now, in the US, right-winged states continue to ban LGBT books in schools and library. It seemed like the US was making so much progress, but in this case the pendulum swings pretty hard back to conservative beliefs in times of dissolution and uncertainty. It's disheartening to see South Korea denying people basic respect on the basis of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Hopefully South Korea will eventually accept LGBT people. Like homophobia is a problem in the US but to see that many people show up to protest is kind of alarming
I really hope this movement will move swiftly and more people join and understand and come out! Imagine how many Koreans are pretending to be someone they're not...Imagine all of the celebrities who are LGBTQ and can't come out, because of the stigma they will face. Just percentage-wise, there must be so many. I hope there will be more Korean content creators and celebrities coming up, that can inform at least the young Koreans about this issue! I feel like that was a big part of how it worked in most of the west.
5:03: Kelsey, what are these combined US/Koean flags about? If there's one culture Korean shouldn't look to for copying, it's the craziness going on in the US. (huge levels of misogyny, dicrimination, etc)

@@tomsato6256 yes, that’s exactly what He was saying, we can critique, evaluate and distinguish between right and wrong, you’re correct, however Matthew 7:1-5 is about hypocritical judgement and self righteousness, it isn’t about discerning between right and wrong. When we love our neighbours we make sure to warn them of the dangers of sin, the Bible says sin leads to hell, and the love warns. We must warn those in sin and we too must repent from sin, dear soul. I’m glad you believe the word of God. ✝️❤️

@@tomsato6256 Yes, you are correct, we are not an instrument of God’s judgement (condemnation/damnation) but we are called to judge actions several times, John 7:24 says to judge righteously, Lord Jesus told Peter to judge in Luke 7:43, and many other places in scripture tell us to judge. We must obey the word of God, and warn them, dear Tom. We are a beacon of hope to the lost, and that means we must tell them that there is hope in Lord JESUS, they don’t have to continue being slaves to sin and demonic oppression, they can be set free by the Son of God and they can be slaves of righteousness and holiness and go to Heaven and get plenty of rewards including a mansion for all eternity living in God’s dwelling place ❤️💜🔥✝️, but if they continue living in sin then they well reap the wages of sin which is death (hell). Remember that God convicts us through His word, that’s why Lord Jesus said “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” John 17:17. He also said, “Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.” Luke 16:29, (Moses and the prophets refers to the Bible), this was after the rich man in hell asked for father Abraham to go back to the world of the living to tell his brethren who were sinners about hell. Luke 7:43 “Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.” Also, this is out of curiosity, may I ask if you’re Japanese? Yeah the reality is alot to many ppl on social I feel cause alot more modern society ever since round 2018 multiple schools, parents and even government parties were exposed to ppl in the community for quite a long while.
They don't want to lol. It's that simple. Stop forcing it.
@@Amii-dw7jd yes . They shouldn't tbh . Korea isn't even that bad . These are just religious people . At least they don't jail dem or they are not criminalized
@@Imetwurld_ at least people aren’t jailed or murdered for just existing? that is like, the absolute bare minimum. that is not a life. i’m going to be gay as fuck in public and people are just going to have to deal and look the other way. how embarrassing for these people.
@@Amii-dw7jd no one is forcing it, people are just wanting to be seen as normal because homosexuality is not evil, its a neutral thing thats been existing for centuries
Only 3% of people are homosexual, so that is unlikely.
I WAS THERE it was the saddest and scariest thing that happened to me while in Korea. Truly the strangest experience of my life. Felt like I was in the twilight zone
This was my first pride experience and as a queer person I felt very unsafe
However, once I finally got to the event itself the whole day turned around and it was such a beautiful display of empowerment
I'm so proud of you for braving the opposition and attending! I Remember my first pride event over 10 years ago in Texas USA being scary until I reached the main group of marchers.
Congrats on going
i was in Korea (I go every year cause my family’s there) and I asked my dad if I could go to pride and he said no im so sad 😭😭 but yeah imagine being so petty you don’t want a gay person to be a senator just cause they’re gay..like that’s embarrassing
hi i just wanna say that even if your dad said no, you still can go. I mean...he doesn't need to know, does he? Idk abt your situation at home but definitely feel free to go. I don't think you have to ask. It is not an event where you can go only with a parent if you're still a kid, so....yeah
@@brumiq._ yeah that’s true, he’s not homophobic or anything and we have gay people in our family but i have no way to go myself 😭 but yes i plan on going
@@foggg7 oh like he doesn't want to let you go alone? If that's the case, then simply go with a friend or someone your dad knows so he can trust them
W dad, totally understand him, he shuóuld be respected
The amount of people in this comment section who share the same views as these protesters is saddening and continues to confuse me: why care, attack, insult, damn, and make someone else's life feel unsafe and miserable over something *that doesn't affect you* ?
If I'm with a guy, or a girl...how does that influence your life? Yet you'll call me slurs, attack me, discriminate and damn me to hell for *holding a woman's hand and loving them* ???
this is heartbreaking Kelsey 🥺 this is too many people, too much repression... I wish every korean queer person could just live their lifes being themselves openly 🥺
Thanks for this. It's one thing to hear there's so much hate but to see it is shocking and saddening.
The change of atmosphere between the anti-pride protestors and the actual pride march is astounding. I'm glad that Korea is walking slowly but surely towards human rights 🏳🌈
i hope someday, the sounds of the festival overpower the sounds of the protest. All the love to fellow lgbt in korea , hang in there ❤️🩹
A lot of people only think that SK are like what they see in kpop. No, it's not. It's not all sunshine and rainbows. Many countries are like this.
And ofc we must walk with our beautiful lgbtqia+ flags on our back✨
This really hurts my heart 💔, but everything worth having is worth fighting for. Keep fighting Kelsey ❤🧡💛💚💙💜!
Wow the sign says No Anti Discrimination Law like they are totally cool with discriminating 😒
proud of you guys, being visible is so important, if nothing else for the people who can’t come out, so they can see that there’s a place for them and that they belong and have value just the way they are. i know things can change, it will just take time. i’ve never been to a parade with this much pushback before. i’d love to be able to walk there with you some day.
Oh my goodness! I didn't think the anti-LGBTQ protest was actually so numerous! It makes the Pride parade all the more important and meaningful.
That’s why I support the LGBTQIA+ cause and these kinds of human beings behavior always brings me down… We’re all equal 🟰!!!!!!
so proud of you...it takes time to educate people that are ignorant to the facts...hopefully they will rid their hearts of hate and embrace the community.

Kelsey you did amazing and don't listen to the haters. As a support of LGBTQ we always stand to have our gay rights heard. I also attend pride parade in New York City and it was awesome . From NYC to Korea we support LGBTQ we are born this way to show love.
incredibly brave of you and your friend, im so proud of you! keep standing up for what’s right, i wish i could be there with you
Tbh I’m not the slightest surprise, it looks exactly like I expected it to be.
At the end of the day is for example Christianity about love itself:
the love that the lord has for us his children, the love he has shown us by sending his son down to pay for our sins, the love we should have for each other and our surroundings .

Fighting!
Keeping it real Kelsey about the LGBTQ situation in South Korea. No window dressing. Laughed when you paraded through the haters but the prejudice is real. Seoul is also a bubble for the queer community but the rest of Korea has a way to go in acceptance.
Still happy to see many in Seoul coming out in support of Pride. Glad to see you doing your part out and proud as a bi woman!

An urge to kiss someone of the same sex in front of them but I know how SK is about pda in general.
The religious who throw excrement on homosexuals do not shock me at all, centuries ago, they threw stones. So ..... let's not be surprised at their hate.
We must remain hopeful and not give up the fight to gain access to our rights.

What a reality check that a lot of the world still sees us as a threat to society, or worse. You're fucking badass. I'm continually impressed by you and your insight.
This is heartbreaking and encouraging at the same time just seeing everyone at the parade in support of love is Enough because it will always grow and one day be acknowledged with respect love always wins no matter what. I appreciate you educating us in this video ♥️🏳️🌈
This touched my heart. Equality for all people, regardless of ethnic origin, age, religion or sexual orientation. It doesn’t matter. I am a heterosexual woman here in America and I support people’s right to be who they are meant to be. This March is so touching to me. Stand up for Gay rights.
I'm so glad you guys didn't get hurt
Actually this looks scarily a lot like what's going on in Poland
I was there and this video really shows how wild and loud it was! And rainy, oh my god.. It was really important for me to go and I'm glad I was able to experience it and see what it was really like. It's important to show the reality.
The antis are even ashamed to hold the banner very well
Why are they bothered about other people's lives
Wow, I'm surprised so many people still think this way.
It's just a scary thought to me
Anyway, I was in Korea during this festival, but I did not hear about it, nor did anyone in my surroundings tell about it, but if I had known, I would have totally tried to join. 🏳🌈
Also thank you Kelsey for another insightful video, I am binge watching all of them!
I was missing this intro line... I love you because you show everything and every side of you ✨✨

Wow this is truly eye opening

I didn't know Korea was that homophobic
Honestly as an Indian its quite homophobic here too but the younger generation who are like under the influence of social media and understanding with like better education are less homophobic and also the school I go to half know that I am bi (I go to all girls school ,how ironic🤣🤣they said no boys so here we are)and are very supportive of the lgbtq culture in general (they are dangerous, I flirt and they flirt back just the same lol)
My friends at my coaching institution know that I am bi(although all don't support they don't hate or look at me differently either we are friends just the same)
For me coming out to my friends was easy since I am like "bitch if u break friendship for this then u were never my friend and I don't need ppl like u in my life" cause I am a very self centered and selfish person who thinks that as long as I am happy I have the capability to make others happy
Fun fact: my mother is old fashioned who doesn't allow me to wear shorts but I didn't need to come out to her .
I was proud that s korea would fight back they don't need this in their country hope they keep fighting
" You cannot change your gender, end of question" See that's where you're wrong buddy, matter of fact, im doing it right now.

I can't with the poster on the stage at 5:00 "nothing is more beautiful than hetero love." T.T
I honestly spat my drink out when I saw it
Nothing against the festival itself but is there a reason why it was held IN FRONT OF A LIBRARY?
I'm from Alberta in Canada, and it's not surprising to me too.
Everything changed in the US when the pandemic hit and it's crazy how the US seems to regressing at the moment.
Isn't judging others a sin?
No, judging others who commit the same sin as you out of hypocrisy is a sin, read the whole of Matthew 7, not just the first verse, you’ll get the context ❤️.
Lord Jesus Christ is coming back everyone, please don’t worship celebrities and entertainment, focus on Him alone. I promise there’s more to life than money, partying, homosexuality and music. Hell is real, repent from sinning confess your sins and ask God to forgive you, I know He will if you’re sincere. Anyone who thinks the Name of Lord Jesus Christ is a joke, boldly mocks and scorns Him or takes pleasure in people who do is in for a big unpleasant surprise on judgement day IF they don’t repent and follow Lord Jesus Christ. Hell is very hot, people please repent! In the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen 🙏💪✝️💜❤️✝️!
Idolatry such as, Islam, Catholicism, Sangomaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Santa Clausism, Confucianism, New Age, Science, Evolution, halloweenism, Harry Potterism, Politics, Donald Trumpism, Easter Bunnyism and other religions/faiths that are outside Biblical Christianity lead to hell! Don’t believe them, believe the Almighty God the Father of Lord Jesus Christ, who begot Him. Our Creator, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is mighty, He doesn’t need a woman to beget a son, He is God. I choose to put my faith in a God who can do anything and everything, a God who has unlimited and infinite power to beget!
So, it’s time to confess that Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord and to believe that He died and rose from the grave after three days and you shall be saved if you only obey Him by praying, worshipping, praising, reading the Bible and living holy and righteously according to the Bible. You have to endure until the end, carry your cross daily and build your relationship with God by following Lord Jesus daily until the end. You must never renounce your faith in The Lord Jesus Christ, there’s hell awaiting those who reject/deny Lord Jesus Christ and those who continue living sinfully, even the Christians who don’t want to repent will face the same fate, so please repent beloved people, in Lord Jesus Christ’s mighty and precious Name, Amen.
