The timed the songs beat to Barry's heartbeat. 100 beats per minute because CPR requires 100 chest compressions per minute and this song can be a reference for someone doing CPR. They use it in CPR classes. Genius and very noble.
Love your reaction ❤
Thank you for the motivational quotes.. 🤘
They are brothers with 5 decades of hits. You should try “Too Much Heaven” next. You won’t regret it.
“Too much heaven” official video will have him trippin’.👌🏼
Dude in the middle is the oldest brother and the other two are fraternal twins.
For me the best group are BEE GEES, for ever
bee gees too much heaven
These guys are legends. Some great "songs by the Bee Gees are
1. Night Fever
2. Too Much heaven
3. Jive Talking
4. How Deep Is Your Love
"They ruled the '70s"!
Great list!!
You couldn’t find a bad Bee Gee song. They are amazing. Love the Gibb Brothers
Fun challenge: Put this song on with headphones and go for a walk around your neighborhood and try not to walk with that swag.... lol
"Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I'm a woman's man, no time to talk"
A badass intro to a song
Pretty amazing isn't it? That a song written 45 years ago is the most played song on the planet today. It gets played somewhere around the world on radio stations every 15 seconds. I guess you can probably tell I'm a diehard BG's fan can't ya. LOL
They made this music for John Travolta's Saturday Night Fever.
Thanks for your reaction! The BeeGees were: the tallest and oldest brother (with the big hair and beard), Barry Gibb, born September 1, 1946, the only surviving Gibb brother. Robin Gibb (with the long hair, no beard), born December 22, 1949-passed away May 20, 2012, and Robin's fraternal twin brother Maurice (the balding brother with the beard, pronounced "Morris") Gibb, born December 22, 1949-passed away January 12, 2003. They also had another, younger, brother Andy Gibb, born March 5, 1958-passed away March 10, 1988. The three oldest brothers were born on the Isle of Man (UK). Oldest brother Barry got seriously burned when he accidentally pulled boiling tea over himself at 18 months old. He was in coma for a while, nearly died and was in hospital for many months. Because of this, he did not learn to talk until after the twins were born. Later the family moved to Manchester and from there they emigrated to Australia in 1958, right after Andy was born. Their musical career, which they had started as little kids, didn't lead to international success so they moved back to the UK in 1966. Then they had a string of big hits, until they temporarily broke up around 1970 for 15 months. Started back up, looking for a new sound which they first found in 1974 with the transitional album "Mr. Natural". After that "Main Course" was the first album that moved them into a new direction: more rhythm&blues, dance music like with great hits like Nights on Broadway and Jive Talkin'. From 1976 on they went all out with falsetto driven dance music which lead to their biggest commercial success as they provided classic songs for the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack (1977 Stayin' Alive, How Deep is Your Love, Night Fever amongst them). You should react to the 1979 live version of Stayin' Alive, too ua-cam.com/video/7niXSh7vWRI/v-deo.html Other great songs to analyze: great album tracks from the 1979 Spirits Having Flown album, the title song: ua-cam.com/video/WH_j90fCIk4/v-deo.html, the outrageously beautiful song Reaching Out ua-cam.com/video/vfHUS5Mf00Q/v-deo.html. From their Still Waters album, Smoke and MIrrors: ua-cam.com/video/MT9vRHSWNbk/v-deo.html. From the 1960's I've gotta get a message to you ua-cam.com/video/CA4CInDnTk8/v-deo.html.
Too Much Heaven, Massachusetts, anything they ever sang! The BeeGees one of Gods gifts to humanity!!
3 Brothers...Music stated Disco...Every club was playing Bee Gees, Donna Summers ( check out) Disco was a fun time, Crazy partying, how did we survive...Then moved into Rock and Roll, even Crazer times...
I found your Channel looking for Bee gees reactions. Please react to the Bee Gees song Fanny Be Tender with My Love.
Run to me is my favourite BeeGees song.
Their 1960s material is quite different from their 70s Disco material. 'I gotta get a message to you', 'Spicks and the Specks', 'I started a joke", 'New York Mining Disaster 1941' are quite different in tone. Of course, Barry Gibb - the eldest of the brothers - said ' Stayin Alive' was an R&B song. Which if you pay attention to the lyrics - and you did, which is unusual - it IS an R&B song.
Sing along all you like. Life is short so enjoy it.
Fire and Desire by Rick James and Teena Marie, Too Much Heaven by Bee Gees, Lady by Kenny Rogers
So check'em out with 'Tragedy', another banger!
The BeeGees are a total masterpiece; they kept everything simple, however, their voices spoke volumes
The high notes that Barry sings is called a falsetto voice. It's a technique used to access a higher range than your normal vocals.
The subject matter of 'Stayin' Alive' is about survival in the streets of New York inspired by the Nic Cohn paperback Tribal Rites of the Saturday Night, who was the plot for the classic Saturday Night Fever Movie. Since 1977 it is now the fifth best selling single of all time with 31 million singles sold worldwide 😱 a legendary tune.
It is claimed from in a survey of all radiostations around the globe as MOST AIRPLAYED SONG OF ALL TIME in 2017- every 20 seconds - this plays everywhere around the world and for sure it is the most iconic song of the 70´s decade. 🍾It’s a part of our shared cultural heritage now - one of those pop miracles that just never gets old, never wears off, never loses its charge. It remains alive. And indeed one of the most covered pop songs in history.🎖
Michael Jackson told that without the Saturday Night Fever Sountrack, he was not able to write with Quincy Jones the Thriller Album, Barry Gibb & Michael Jackson were the closest friends in Show Biz
Wow! Stayin’ alive, indeed! Thank you so much for sharing those details. I was a teenager when the Bee Gees were at the top of the charts in the 60s it was my privilege to hear them on the airwaves all the time We were very blessed with the music we had back then!!
Thanks for the additional information on this great iconic song!!! Best group ever!!!
Such an ICONIC bass line
Beegees wrote and sang over a thousand songs and never had a bad song. They also wrote for many other artists they were musical geniuses. The song is basically about life in the u0s in New York and how hard it was. A lot of people thought it was about dancing when it's actually about survival.
The best bass line ever!!
That’s better than a cup of coffee for an afternoon pick me up!!! Please react to an inspirational song from the Bee Gees called WIND OF CHANGE. They had success in the 60’s, mostly in a Europe, and were going through a down time in their career. Moved to Miami and reinvented themselves for a new generation. The song was written before the comeback, so it’s like they were encouraging themselves... and it worked. Another is YOU SHIULD BE DANCING!!
Wind of Change is awesome x10000
jesus loves disco i can hear him stomping his foot to the rhymn
Great reaction. These guys went viral before viral was a thing. 100 top 10 hits back in the day. They wrote, produced and performed hundreds of hits. Nights on Broadway and Jive Talkin you are going to love.
You're one of the few who instantly understood the reason for the demolished buildings and the survival theme. The buildings look like the current state of the cities in the Ukraine. I hope they stay alive, too. Great reaction. I am subscribing.
I replied the same thing! It’s like no one listens to the lyrics!
@@hamlinjoann Thanks.
This was video was shot at an old backlot (multiple movie sets) at MGM.
If you have children they will love to hear you sing no matter what you sound like, yes, I speak from experience! Bravo for singing along when you could, who cares if it wasn't perfect, you were having so much fun! Kudos!
I like to chorus too somebody help me cracking song love the beegees
I’ve seen reactions to this song and you are the first to listen to the lyrics, everybody else just listens to the music! They have had hits as far back as the 60’s to the 2000’s. No one reacts to their other songs from 60’s, early 70’s, 80’s. People seem to forget that they wrote, produce and compose all their own songs. They have made hits writing for others as well! I guess you can tell I’m a BG’s fan! Have a great day!
First time a drum loop was ever used in a song.
how deep is your love should be next
This was the Bee Geez at the height of their Power.
Lol I can just see it !
Ken Fist of the North Star
Doing the full John Travolta walking with a paint can .
😂😂😂
If you like blue-eyed soul, check out "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" by Elvin Bishop, live on Midnight Special.
Night Fever, How Deep is your Love
Awesome reaction !!!! love this song my all time favorite bands much love To The brother's Gibb never ever disappoints. Listen to Andy Gibb is my favorite Gibb Brother he was a solo artist he was an awesome entertainer in his own right, Shadow dancing it is great. love and prayers to you from Memphis Tn. Their songs are in Saturday night fever and stayin alive movies. Fyi John Travolta strutted to this song at the end of Stayin alive the movie NO ONE struts like John Travolta. All the Gibb brother's passed away except Barry he's the only one left. Andy died at around 8:30 am on 10 March 1988, Gibb's doctor informed him more tests were needed to determine the cause of his chest pains. Shortly afterward, Gibb slumped into unconsciousness and died as a result of myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle caused by years of drug abuse that fatally weakened his heart. This diagnosis was supported by William Shell, a cardiologist who previously treated Gibb.
Thanks for your recommendation ,as well as your support . Thanks
@@AcesKing704 You are so welcome Andy Gibb is awesome Shadow dancing is an awesome song. Andy will always be my heart he will always be missed by me. It is fine with me for you to sing along i do it myself.
Bee Gees another amazing British band , originally 4 brothers, one brother Andy Gibb passed away at a young age from drug related problems, they always first and foremost considered themselves song writers before vocalists , and have written songs for Diana Ross, Barbara Streisand, Dolly Parton and kenny Rogers,to name a few, also have written for films too , Saturday night Fever and Grease both films starring John Travolta, absolutely talented guys, they have hits over 5 decades, and have sold over 200 million albums, great reaction thanks 🙏
@@christophersmith2793 already covered Andy's death but ty for the assist 🙄
Their best imho is “Fanny (Be Tender with My Love)” and “You Should Be Dancing “.
Your interpretation is the best and deepest I've heard yet! You are deeply intuitive! LOVE IT! Makes a great song even richer!
Thanks, Aces! Yep, Bee Gees are what is known as "ubiquitous" - meaning they are everywhere.. super cheesy 70's video.. but it's one of those things that is so bad it's actually good... lol (Saturday Night Fever was the movie where this and some of their other songs were featured)... they go back much further; I like some of their 60s stuff... look forward to more from you....
A Classic, timeless, jam.
Great, great reaction!! You are sharp to get the message in the song.!!
Here's a few of their songs that span 3 decades. The Bee Gees started singing/performing in the 1950's when Barry Gibbs (born 1946) was 8 yrs old and the Twins Robin and Maurice (born 1949) were 5 years old. Over their very long career they kept growing and reinventing themselves.

I’m pretty sure their first performance was in 1963, not the 1950s. According to the birth dates you’ve listed, they would still be toddlers in the 1950s.
@@Tyger-Lee Toddlers are 2/3-year-old. Their first public performance was in 1956, though it was not a 'professional' performance. By 1958 they were performing publicly.
--- 1956 - First public performance at The Gaumont
--- change their name to “The Rattlesnakes”

@@MockingBirdCanta Yes, you’re right. I remember seeing a video of them performing when they were still very young boys. I have cognitive trauma that makes it difficult to communicate precisely what I meant. I meant seeing The Bee Gees first recorded performances as young adults on British television; New York Mining Disaster 1941 on Top Of The Pops in 1967.
Nice
They teach CPR to this beat.
Im very glad to hear you getting the significance of the run down city they are filming in.❤ It was an old set of a tv ww2 series called "Combat". The lyrics "Feel the city breaking and everybody shaking" could not be more relevant today! I really enjoyed watching your reaction.❤❤❤
You did such a great reaction 👍👍💞. You made me subscribe to your happiness. 🎶🎶🎶🥰
First time on your channel. I grew up in the disco era. What a great song this is. When you can check out Paul Hardcastle and the song is Can’t Stop Now. The video is on UA-cam and the person at the beginning of the video is Paul Hardcastle dancing. Subscribe also your channel too. Have a great weekend and looking forward to your next video.
This was fun! Thank you...needed this today!
Check out To Much Heaven it's one of their best.
Too Much Heaven
Can’t go wrong with The Bee Gees😀 if you haven’t yet discovered Dimash, the greatest singer on the planet, would love for you to check him out 😃
2:39 I think we all know what that means. LOL
Shout out from the 864 , Greenville, SC .🔥🔥🇺🇸🙏
If you want to be blown away check out the a cappella group Home Free. They cover iconic songs from different genres and everyone usually thinks it’s an upgrade. One that I think would blow your mind is their cover of Boys to Men “End of the Road”. If you decide to check them out, prepare to go down the rabbit hole.
Really great reaction!! Hope you check out more from them! They were one in a million!! 💕😎
Very smart analysis
Hi from Australia
bee gees angela
Hey wrote many songs ffor other artists
♥️
💪👏👏
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🖐️😍
👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Check out More than a woman, Fanny, You should be dancing and Tragedy. How can you bend a broken heart, Nights on Broadway and Too much heaven are also great. Well actually all of their songs are solid. There’s not really any song of theirs that’s not good one.
I find it's funny that your generation tries to find meaning in every old song. It's just a stupid disco song that was written to make people feel good.
Great channel man! Keep it going!
