Thanks for watching
You’re living the dream my friend ! Hot rods , a woman who loves hot rods, a son who will grow up around hot rods. Plus you live above a hot rod garage , what else could a gearhead ask for … 👍🏻
Nice video. Thanks for the tip on holding the thermostat in place. I always wondered about that.
The old plugs look mint! And good save on the pedal from Shannon
Great solution for covering the hole. Much more elegant than what most of us would have come up with.
A plastic plug works.
Great to see the whole family working together on the roadster. Good luck at the drags; sure you'll have fun.
Thsnks fore another good video! The go getters are from sweden. And as you said. Good!
Great vid Lee, I have never heard of the o Getters, but looked them up on you tube, and as a big fan of Brian Setzer, I love Rockabilly, AND as a guitar player since 1960, I still rock with the best of them , even at 80 :-) Love your show Lee, and always watch....:-)
Nice work again! Yeah, The Go Getters are a swedish band. I think i've seen their gig somewhere, maybe in Sweden or in my home country, Finland. I used to go to see bands when i was younger, but not so much at these days. Well, keep up the good work!
Great video and another bit of education. You give me the inspiration to continue on my 32 roadster. You live a great life in a beautiful area. Here in the Toronto area it is not quite the same.
I’ve never been to Ontario, but the car community out there seems to be thriving from what I’ve seen.
You are correct. But from your videos posts it just looks different. I’m sure it is just me I always wanted a hot rod so at 69 I started and now at 71 close to the finish of a 32 roadster 1970 style. Not a member of a car club and none of my friends are into hotrods, need to get connected in my area.
Yet, another great video -- That old plug looks great
Lux is your new gauge man!
You're about to enter a dimension. It is a dimension as vast as space and timeless as infinity. Somewhere between light and sound - between science and superstition. And it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination - it is an area known as - the LGKustoms zone!
Plugs look good. Need a little idle air screws adjustments for that start up and idle area. Balance carbs too !
Informative as always.
Great episode and good luck in Mission.
Yuppers...well done and great walk thru of your process! This one was awesome for me 'cause I just scored a Thickstun 2x2 hi rise (getting hard to find) from Iron Trap! Shannon was right about the spoon! Hot Rod Family, doesn't get any better! Go LGKustoms...thank you and keep moving forward!
Dude!!! They don't even put CD players in new cars!!?? What the hell!!! Fun video!!! ✌️
My cars don’t even have FM
Great video. It’s cool that the family is helping out. Lux sure has a fun time in the shop.😊
...hi Shannon and Lee...I think this is the first video where I've seen Lux actually walking...he seems pretty good about not getting in to stuff around the shop, but I'm not sure if that is due to editing.....
He’s pretty content playing with his toys and not getting in to stuff he shouldn’t.
Great content, love the family work shop fast motion footage, COOL, I hope you guys have a great trip and race, look forward to the next video. Cheers.
Good show! The roadster is about complete except for ignition. Looking and sounding good!
lots of fun doing small detail stuff ... i seriously doubt you need the second clamp on the radiator hose , on the thermostats , if you have a heater leave it alone but other wise cut the tower and pull the plunger and spring out , it would be a shame to burn up that motor from a stuck thermostat and last the plugs did look good i would run a tank or two of high octane to clear up the black carbon - nice car
I have run this engine without thermostats before and it wouldn’t build enough heat to move the temperature gauges.
.030 gap is good. Magnetos like the tight gap. The spark alternates direction with a mag. That is to say that the spark will go from the center electrode to ground on one plug. Then the next plug in the firing order will fire from the ground electrode to the center electrode. So if you ever pull your plugs to check them. Keep track of them and reinstall them 1 cylinder off in the firing order to keep the wear even.
Good tip. Thanks
a family of mechanics, that's cool!
The '32 looks just awesome !
Thanks for sharing, always interesting 👍
Can’t wait to see you do up these wires !!!
always great videos and great work
Use water soluble oil in your water. It will protect the aluminum in contact with the water.
nice little fix's whats with the 35 grill in back ground ,looks like it needs a little repair removing crank hole , would be great video , it,s straighter than mine , have nt worked out how to add pic ,s here yet 👍👍👍👍
It’s for a customer. Just welded up a few holes for him
Awesome 👍
Looks good
Lee, that 47 is looking so sad.... I can hear it clear down here in AZ crying for attention
Jim washed it today, and we started filming a new video on it.
Ay Shannon you better invest in a cd player. Cus you no what!! Anyway I’m sure you could sell them at a swap meet. And lux looks a lot bigger. So maybe. I don’t no it’s the thought that counts right. Really looking forward to seeing you drag racing. Can you feel any different from your last set up on the car Lee? Take care best wishes. Tim.
Thanks again Tim. Our house stereo has a CD player and we’ve listened to three of the four so far.
No thank you. I didn’t no how to repay you. The best thing about nights is I’m live streaming bonneville on pay it’s 2230. Cheers again.
Lux wears bibs like his old man.
You need a radiator cap on the radiator shell.
Those throttle ends are made for pushing not pulling. Yo can hook up the throttle so it pushes.
Hmmmmmmmm, I actually used trick head studs. Had to be longer because my Aluminum heads are thicker than stock, more water. I have Navarto heads. But I have some Cyclone heads that have too large a combustion chamber for my engine. Sooo they are just kept in stock in box.
I have a fabricated stainless overflow.
$5,850 is my guess Tony !
The stock hole isn't round, its square.
I pray your fuel tank in the roadster has a bladder in it.
I'm sure that God might have greater worries to bother himself with at the moment.
Why does my tank need a bladder? It’s just a stock model A tank.
@@LGKustoms If you are hit in an accident the metal may split and ignite then someone burns up, A bladder would prevent this, 99% of all race cars are equipped with a bladder inside the fuel tank.
My thermostats are gutted.
Had to laugh about the CD's no player, my wife went to the local thrift store here in Nanaimo came home big box of CD's "look what I got only 10 cents each!" I said we don't have a CD player, oh she says but I'll play them in my car, Barb you car doesn't have a cd player either, oh well maybe I can sell them for $1 each, I gave up put on the self with all the other redundant junk.
