I look forward to your builds, maintenance and trips no matter what they are. I hope when Deuce Days is happening you can video your shop open house. Your guests could be very interesting and well known in the Hot Rod Kulture .
As a tech who repaired an import line of 5 speeds, most with a transfer case built together, I know the “Tremic” trans without working on them. Nice design with new tech ideas employed to handle high HP. As a Delco rep doing tech seminars, I walk thru a warehouse in Lincoln NE. stacked with these transmission stacked to the ceiling. The must of had 1,500 units on pallets. I was shocked. Speedway is in Lincoln but I am not sure about this warehouse. Interesting problem with parts fitment. Best of luck. DK, Omaha.
Glad that you mentioned that these are not that common at the wreckers. 40 years old transmissions and the mechanical speedo drive. I found my transmission while on vacation in Mexico.
More details about the vintage Indy car please !!! A Rolla Vollstedt car from '65 - Len Sutton driver - finished 12th ???? Looking back thru all my old Indy programs !! EDIT: Just found the "sales history" up to 2015 on the car. Last history (2015) shows in British Columbia Been thru a lot of hands, providing the chassis number is correct.
Nice job on the install. I'm really surprised you didn't just split the front wishbone. With that wishbone cup spacer, how must is that gonna affect castor?
Splitting the wishbones is much more labor and parts than building a spacer. Especially with the wishbones also being the spring mount. Yea it will add a bit of castor. But that’s not a bad thing. The more castor the better it feels going down the highway.
Oh no! Say it isn't so, you sold the car we have taken so many trips together in. How could you, what do I do with my t-shirt now? You could have at least warned us this was coming, dude!
I’m slowly building a 32 with a T5 I used an adapter from cornhuskers I’ve been curious if the flathead motor mounts and T5 tailpiece mount was strong enough to support the engine
Auto wreckers have nothing anymore, when I moved to the island in 80 there were so may cool wreckers full of treasures thought I was in paradise being a motor head, Horne lake auto wreckers was cool and all the Nanaimo wreckers were full of stuff, 99% of these wreckers are long gone nothing but crap now.
Most stuff from 1980 is gone. That was almost 50 years ago. A 1960 Chevy was only 20 years old then. Today auto wreckers still have 20 year old cars in them, they’re just 2004 Chevys now.

You should just come to Deuce Days and check out the open house in person!

I've said it before, your explanation of the process is spot on, and your positivity is amazing! Go LGKustoms, keep moving forward.
Typical smooth sailing in the world of hot rods. Really nice work from LG as usual.

They’re not as easy to find as people think they are
Great team work. When you get the rest of the work finished, I’ll be looking forwards to the test drive. Take care all. Tim.

Really nice job guys!
Thanks so much!
Dude!!! Fun video!!! Sorry to see you sold that hot rod!!! That's when I started watching your videos!!!
I also watched Lee rebuild the 47 on UA-cam, that's why I bought it, the car will be in good hands and be around the North Texas area, R L from Texas
It’s been a great car. But with the 32 getting closer, I just couldn’t devote the time to the 47
Great show Lee....:-)
Great move !!👍😎😁

What were you driving to the machine shop, looks interesting.
Shannon’s 49 Meteor
What made you sell the 47? None the less great buildso fare.
The 32 is almost road worthy
Oh no! Say it isn't so, you sold the car we have taken so many trips together in. How could you, what do I do with my t-shirt now? You could have at least warned us this was coming, dude!
But now we can take trips in the 32! I sold the 47 so I could use the money and time to get the 32 roadworthy.
@@LGKustoms Well, alright, but I sure did like that '47.

I think it’s fine, provided you’re not jumping the car like the dukes of hazzard
@@LGKustoms thanks no dukes of hazard for me
