Slice Transform was exactly the work around I was looking for. Great video! I'm VERY tempted with the upcoming Black Friday to get a personal license to add a new twist to my lighting (yeah, I'm a lampie, sorry). I was looking for a way to swap between custom outputs so I could have toggles but I can deffo map dmx control onto those slice transform buttons and build toggle switches from there!
with which program you create the Output Guide PNG? Illustrator? Photoshop? whats the best way to create it to automatically create the different colours for each slice? or is it all done manually?

hi there, thank you for tutorial, but i have a question if you dont mind. i have 9k wide LED screen, but i only have 4k video content, everytime i fill the screen with 4k video content it look blury. is it possible to do the slice method like you did? or maybe do you have any suggestion?
Hi Harvey, Yeah upscaling content will have some form of pixilation. You could try using 3 4k slices to duplicate content, and maybe flipping them to tile the content

You're right K M, showing 1 layer didn't really demonstrate the granular control available with Slice Transform effects. I should have at least had other layers running to demonstrate the power of Slice Transforms more clearly. Thanks for the feedback :)

(This is a bonus feature of the plugin) hybridvisuals.nl/chaser/ I find this the fastest way, as you can freely rearrange in Resolume first, and then use Chaser to generates a map I also made a web based generator for single maps here: mith.xyz/tools/ Dvizion has an AfterEffects Template to create some great looking ones: www.dvizion.net/portfolio/led-pixelmapper/ Ive heard the Red Dot Logistics software is good too, but haven't tried it personally: reddotlogics.com/software/
In my Resolume arena, I can only see the INPUT SELECTION tab, but the the OUTPUT TRANSFORMATION tab does not show. Can you help to know why or how to turn this on?

The Slices Panel & Slice Transform effect are cool tips, demoing the map with just a single layer is quite uninspired ;P
