What is your favorite hotkey or trick inside Resolume's Advanced Output?
This is great. I wish I would have watched this before my gig last week. I love the show in output. That is super helpful to arrange the slices. Especially if your in a hurry.
Yeah that ones very helpful if you dont have a pixel map and need to get things lined up quick!
Quality content, as always!
Thanks Chris!
Always insightful 🤘🖤
Thank you!
Awesome!😎
Thanks! 🤘
I am living far in the past with my Resolume 6 :)
I'll catch up some day
hey if it aint broke dont fix it
I've got some paying gigs coming up soon. Thanks for your wise words :) @@SeanBowes
haha sick! just saying 6 is rock solid. No need to upgrade until it makes sense for you. Some big tours are still being run on 6.
and am I right that this video is about stuff that isn't in 6, or am I just option-blind?@@SeanBowes
@@malkomalkavianare you using Arena 6 or Avenue 6? A lot of this should be in 6, but only Arena versions of resolume have full Advanced Output functionality. I don’t have access to 6 at the moment to verify specifics..
Can you show us what your top Live Camera effects are in resolume?
Second this
Thanks for the suggestion! I will try to make a video about that soon
Great video Sean, I’m having a delay issue with 2 of my main slices. They are a second or 2 behind my others. Any ideas?
shoot me a message with more details ill try to help you out
muy buena daaataaaaaaaaa bro 🕶
😎
Live change for mapping thx ♥
You might be interested in StageFlow. It’s a plug-in developed by a former resolume employee that allows you to create multiple variations of your mapping that can be switched or faded between live. I have a video about it
yea i know hybridvisuals guys they make like 10/10 "plugin" :D@@SeanBowes
Hello. How do I ensure that when loading another project the advanced output that I already had saved is not deconfigured?
Make sure you save it and give it a name using the drop-down menu at the top left of Advanced Output that says Presets. This will generate an XML file that you can load up later if you play another show at that venue for example. After when you start a new output configuration, start by creating a new one using that same menu so you don’t accidentally save over one you’ve saved previously
Thank you for the information. This is probably a silly question, beginner here!
Let’s say I have 3 sets of panels, right-left-center, I do the mapping in resolume advanced output, do I need to have 3 separate outputs in the processor as well? Or resolume will separate the image going to the led wall this one connected just to one output in the processor?
I mean, how many different outputs in the processor do I need when doing this type of setups with several outputs in resolume?
What happens between the processor and the wall has more to do with the resolution of the wall, and not as much its arrangement or what is happening in resolume. You will need to use the appropriate amount of ethernet ports to send to each grouping of LED tiles based on the resolution of each group. Even a single wall may need multiple ethernet ports to feed it it depending on its resolution. Similarly, you could split a wall in sections and still feed it data through a single ethernet port so long as it is under the data limit for that port. There are some great videos on a channel called SquareV about this stuff. Resolume only cares how many processors there are just downstream of it, as that correlates to the outputs needed from the computer, which corresponds with Screens / Displays in Resolume.
@@SeanBowes thank you, I think I get it! As long as my setup doesn’t exceed 1 port capacity in the processor I can only use one Ethernet cable to send data to the wall, if my setup requires more panels/pixels than that one port capacity well… I’ll have to adjust accordingly. I really appreciate your response. 🙏

Hey Sean, I'm unable to see the Output transformation tab when I open the Advanced output settings, any idea on how I can view it? Thanks!
You need to use Resolume Arena to have access to the Output Transformation and some other Advanced Output features.
Hey, I have a little problem. When I go to output and advanced, I don't have the output transformation option, maybe you know what's the problem
Sounds like you have the Avenue version of resolume, not Arena which is capable of advanced output mapping
