Celiac disease can happen at any age, I was 64. I know of a lady In her 80s who developed celiac disease. I’m glad I was diagnosed late in life.
Thank you for talking about celiac disease.

I am DQ2 positive (homozygous), I have terrible bloating diarrhea and delayed gastric emptying. I have been GF for 4 years but still get sick and think my mom has Celiac, she tested positive. My blood test while eating gluten was negative in 2015.
I worry I am gluten free but don’t have celiac disease . I want to eat gluten , my recent blood test for celiac was negative
My gastroenterologist told me I had non celiac sensitivity and maybe Crohns.
Should I gluten and not worry about it?

Me too. I advise dont even go inside grocery stores. Even with a n95 mask the airborne gluten still finds its way in stomach smh. What a terrible thing to have. It destroyed what little social life I once had, however, I must say I think gmo has a lot to do with this, as Im noticing even with people without celiac seem to be having a lot of skin issues. Here in Cambodia where non gmo is not familiar here, Im noticing to many people with skin disorders. I believe this gmo gluten must be avoided by everyone. When I get exposed to gluten, even when wearing a n95 mask, I first get the stomach pains, then the Dermititis Herpe, then the arthritis and just a week of feeling terrible. People don't understand how debilitating this disease is because only 1% allegedly have it, I betcha its way more then 1% now again because of this gmo food. Im thankful, Im in Cambodia at moment where I can walk outside and get simple fish broths and homemade dishes fresh for $1, so I never even have to go to store bc everyone cooks and eats outside from street vendors.

I’ve heard corn isn’t good for celiac disease. I’ve dropped it from my GF diet.

wow... no, if you lay off Gluten you'll be just fine. Why not just cut it out completely and see how you feel. do that first... then make 100 doctor visits and line their pockets. These slickos love all the added visits.

This is wrong . I’ve visited so many doc , went to hospitals for them just to tell me nothing is wrong with me when having symptoms like ; abdominal pain , joint pain / damage , extreme weight loss , feeling spacey , can’t stand up for long without getting weak , permanent damage after going to doctors n they don’t tell you what’s wrong , coughing up blood , throwing up , it causes depression also . It feels like you’re body is dying slowly and they don’t say shit to me until I BROUGHT IT up to their attention after hearing one of my aunts have it and it’s genetic , having the same issues , and I had to figure out what was wrong with me by somebody who isn’t a doc . On top of that doctors do not have to take any classes on nutrients it’s all bout pills that ruin you’re immune system and don’t ever do shit but kill the good bacteria while killing the bad ( sometimes killing the bad). Watch how you speak on this subject it’s sensitive and the symptoms are horrible . And doctors will always send you back home until you go to a specialist.
