Jackie - I so appreciate the inspiration on how to incorporate coconut oil into my daily life, save money and the planet, and support aging vibrantly. I learned some news facts and ways to use coconut oil from this video. I have a question - what is the difference between Coconut Milk, Coconut Oil, and MCT Oil and when and how should I use these?
Good question... I wonder how much MCT can be absorbed from the whole virgin oil? I just saw a presentation on how MCT ketones go into the brain cells without needing to be on strict keto diet.
Honestly, I think both are fine in terms of Coconut Oil and MCT oil. I use them interchangeably, with MCT in my team or coffee, and coconut oil for personal care and cooking. Coconut Milk and Cream I use in place of milk or cream and in cooking like Curry and other yummy things. Per google: MCT oil is metabolized more rapidly by the body, providing quick energy and potential benefits for weight management and cognitive function. Coconut oil's fat content and effects are more diverse, including antimicrobial properties, potential impact on cholesterol levels, and benefits for skin health.
I've seen this as well about the Ketones and not needing such a strict Keto diet. Have you seen Will Cole's Keto plan? I'm going to review his book, too!
