    Since teenage years i have had burning and sensitivities in my private areas, lots of issues and discomfort. I have used all the creams and pills doctors have given me, which actually made it worse eventually... 3 months ago I began using coconut oil on my body and my private are and .. i have NOT felt any burning or pain AT ALL! I am in awe, honestly SO HAPPY!!!! I have had this pain for over a decade and all I needed was this beautiful seed to heal me completely! I use it 3-4 times a week, everywhere except the face. Also noticed that my skin is softer and super smooth :D All those stupid pills and creams are in the bin, I cannot trust doctors anymore. OH, also, I take probiotics. Candida GONE ladies! :)

    Hi Dr. Berg. Thank you so much for doing another video on the amazing coconut oil. I heard Dr. Bruce Fife say that coconut oil lowers your blood sugars when you consume it after a meal and that it can even lower the glycemic index of anything you eat by simply adding coconut oil to it. Is this true? Does this also mean that coconut oil can fix insulin resistance and increase your insulin sensitivity? I also read somewhere that coconut oil does not spike your insulin. Could you confirm all this? Thank you very much! Greetings from the Netherlands.

    I know that virgin is best, but I wasn't paying enough attention when I bought my most recent coconut oil. It is still organic but it is not virgin. Instead it is expeller pressed. Is this still beneficial? I didn't notice until I got two large jars.

    so if one is avoiding SEED oils at any costs, then coconut oil is not even an option. One would have to get those benefits some other way. Correct me if Im off.

    3 years later, I don't actually use it for cooking but I do use it on my skin. Having psoriasis after applying on my patchy spots it usually clears up within 24 hours. Nothing else seems to help/work, I may start having it with my coffee in the morning.

    What is the different between coconut oil & MCT oil? I use coconut oil everyday for my salad dressing. It smells good. I never try mct oil before. When you buy MCT oil, what are you looking for in the ingredient to know that is high quality?

    • @headspaceaudio7745
      @headspaceaudio7745 5 років тому +1

      Coconut oil contains mct oil but in small amounts. Mct oil which is readily available is a much higher concentrate and is used specifically as a hunger suppressant and yes you guessed it! Energy!

      Huy Nguyen Coconut oil is an MCT oil. MCT stands for “medium chain triglycerides”. You don’t need to buy an oil marketed as “MCT Oil” because all it is is over priced coconut oil. Make sure when u buy coconut oil it’s organic, cold pressed, not expeller pressed for the best results!

    • @ShipCreek
      @ShipCreek 5 років тому +1

      MCT is thinner with no fragrance and no taste. I prefer it myself for all cold dishes but cook with regular coconut oil.
      Its also VERY expensive.
      I dont have a gallbladder and found I was being kicked out of ketosis too easily. MCT has helped with the weightloss. To me its a 'miracle food'.😅 But like everything you need to find what works for you.

    • @Darkempress45
      @Darkempress45 5 років тому

      fukthegoog it’s still coconut oil. They’ve just concentrated the amount of MCT that is naturally found in regular coconut oil. I personally wouldn’t purchase it because it’s unnatural. It’s refined and chemically processed which to me defeats the whole purpose of keto/paleo lifestyle. I personally say just consume high quality all natural coconut oil.

    • @raven5679
      @raven5679 5 років тому +5

      Absolutely, Liz! Coconut oils’ benefits are mostly for heart, brain and skin health. One of the incredible things about MCT’s is that they’re immediately absorbed, as Dr. Berg said. If my memory serves me, they bypass the liver and go straight to work. I don’t see the gallbladder being an issue to something so beneficial. Hope I helped!

    The thumb rule is eat local. If olive oil is abundant and native, by all means use it. That way you can be assured that it wasn't gmo'd to make it suitable for native soil or didn't go through too much processing to prolong its shelf life while its exported. Coconut is native to us and its easy for us to cold press them and get it fresher and safer than what's been exported to you.

    I have changed all oils 2 or more years ago. Now I use only coconut, EVOO and ghee.NO veg oils. But my bloodwork shows high cholesterol. I don’t understand. I stopped the coconut oil…….but now I think the cholesterol is carbs in my diet. So I am adding back in….the coconut oil and being keenly aware of my intake of carbs. I am using some keto foods, etc. I eat pasture eggs daily! Have added in serious high garlic supplements. Sometimes eating garlic raw. Over months I hope these renewed habits will bring my cholesterol down. I refused the statins. Anybody wanna comment??
