Dog Bite Treatments. If the bite is already bleeding, apply a clean cloth to the wound and gently press down to stop the flow. Follow up with an application of antibacterial lotion and cover with a sterile bandage. I'm 47 yrs old and is bitten by a street dog 2 hrs ago. I already went to hospital and taken first rabies and tetanus injections.
I washed wounds with soap and applied Dettol liquid.
I'm not recommended any antiseptic. Doctor there asked me to leave the wound open.
I seek your opinion regarding my case as wound looks bad.

It took about 15 days for complete healing. It takes same time as any other wound. She should definitely get rabies and tetanus injections.
Wound needs to be well looked after. It was not too serious in my case so I was not given any antibiotics or extra care. But if she is badly bitten, please consult doctor.

@@tushar5058 you should take rabies first shot and tetanus immediately. You have to take two more rabies shots after that.

मालूम है मैं 2022 में जनवरी-फरवरी के बीच में एक कोर्स कंप्लीट किया था और 2022 के लास्ट दिसंबर और 2023 के पहले जनवरी में हमने एक और वैक्सीन कोर्स कंप्लीट किया था मैं डर की वजह से दोनों बार किया था और यह तीसरी बार है जो कि अभी 1 साल होने में करीब 15 दिन बाकी है 20 दिन फिर मुझे कुत्ते ने काट दिया और मैं करीब 8 दिन लेट भी हो गया तो क्या मुझे यह वैक्सीन जो लिया हूं यह काम नहीं करेगा इस समय मुझे फिर से वैक्सीन लगवाना पड़ेगा

Similarly..my maid got severe bitten by street dog....a lot of blood was there...whole leg was covered in blood....I took her to government hospital...as it was near her home...hope they treat well dog bite cases
