other than acrylic and all those tamiya spray paint, will it work if i use normal spray paint bought from supermarket? (eg: tenco krystal aerosol paint, etc...), newbie here, thanks !
kajkun1384 well for painting indoors exhaust fans are neccesary... For example like a normal fan pointing towards an opened window and for more airflow maybe if you/him is painting in a room with a door to go outside put a fan there too that points towards the outside as well... But better paint on a balcony or in the backyard on some newspappers on a table...
I'd use a piece of paper to trace an outline of the piece, cut it out. Then trace the scribe design onto the paper by laying it ontop. Now you have a stencil. After you transfer the marks you can use a ruler to make sure they're clean/straight before masking.
GeorgeHale1984 use a graphite willow and wax tracing paper, that way you can flip it over and press it on the seccond peice and the graphite will transfer, thus leaving a perfect mirror copy for your seccond peice
cant stop looking at coke nail

Farhanz Beast Just make sure whatever paint you are using specifically says it's safe for plastic.
do you do your painting indoors? if indoors do you still use exhaust fans for the fumes?

Rei Matsuo u can just look up tamiya dymo tape, scribber, and other products
what do you call that tape he used for scribing?
The yellow stuff is tamiya masking tape. It's great. That black stuff I haven't used, but it was called DYMO tape.
how to make sure both side scribbing is same size?
