In the mid-90s, I once attended a party at Rico Wade's house in the ATL. It was beautiful. Outkast were actually there doing a photoshoot. The mood was so incredibly chill. I nodded to Big Boi and he returned the gesture in kind. I was working in public relations back then and moving in the same circles as The Dungeon Family although I never had the pleasure of meeting all the members. These dudes created the 'soundtrack' of the streets through their music. It filled the ATL with such inspiration. I received the opportunity to work with so many amazing people in the industry thanks to the love poured out by cats like Goodie Mob, Shanti "Shoestring" Das and many others. RIP Sharon Benjamin.

Khujo lives in the same city with me and my wife and I used to run into he and his queen at the bar in the Mexican restaurant. T-Mo is ALWAYS supportive of MORRIS BROWN. Growing up in the SWATS I can honestly say Goodie Mob definitely had a hand in raising me and my cousins who listened to boyz before, during, and after school. My grandma never told me to turn it off no matter how loud it was, and anytime I ever ran into anyone from the Dungeon Family it was always luv. This might be my favorite episode yet. I've always respected Goodie Mob and their music but I always rock with the artist fully if they are authentic people and they embodie that. Some of these rappers have dope music but they are wack azz people but not them. Usually with groups it's one member who's a little off or isn't as respected as the others, a yes man or gets the others in drama but all 4 members of the Mob are official. We all know Ceelo is the "star" but he doesn't act like it doing all the talking like he's the leader or whatever. It's genuine love and respect with all of these dudes and u can see it when the others are talking. When Cee lo said they are some of the Realest niggaz walking this earth I felt that and Tupac being my favorite artist needed this type of family around him to hold him down. It's crazy how Pac was trying to get down with them before the death row signing so he must have felt it himself. Shout out Goodie Mob and drink champs cuz a 4 hour interview could have gotten very boring and redundant but it was dope all the way through💯. Now all I need is Scarface, Foxy and Cam'ron on here.
