This is my favorite Drink Champs episode. It just felt like a bunch of long time friends kickin back and sharing stories and having fun. Cypress Hill is my all-time favorite rap group period, not just Latino. I actually recorded a song with Sen Dog back in 2006 and had the opportunity to open for B and Sen on a couple of occasions. In one of my conversations with Sen Dog he told me keep rockin and one day you’ll play big festivals too. I went on the do Christian/ Catholic hip-hop and in 2019 my group and I played in front of 650,000 people at the World Youth Day in Panama City, Panama after a vigil given by Pope Francis. Even though I am doing faith based hip-hop Cypress has been my biggest influence and I have nothing but love and respect for the OGs.
Crazy how we were into them hard in DC but didnt gaf about where the music was from...i didnt even consider them "West Coast" they were bigger than that!

It’s irritating sometimes cuz im listening to this in my headphones and it be loud af lol I noticed him saying im sorry i dont mean to interrupt and that is a huge improvement cuz sometimes the artist is in the middle of something interesting and it distracts the flow of the interview. Busta Rhymes was good at not letting himself get interrupted. Keep up the great work guys i love this podcast 💯
