I have heard from John, his website was hacked and he is still digging thru that mess. Be patient with him and he will take care of you. His website is crapsmoney.com
I ordered his 2nd video because of this episode of color up. I wish I had waited till you reviewed it because it was worthless. A waste of money. It is one big advertisement to get you to spend $50 on his first DVD. He did not teach anything new, just reviewed a bunch of strategies that are already free on you tube. Color up far surpasses his instructional information and uses actual dice rolls to demonstrate each strategy where as John never rolls dice a single time. Very disappointed. And no need to buy the first DVD since you have covered his strategies on color up.
Mike Green I think his 2nd dvd covers many different strategies, that maybe I also cover, so if you follow my channel consistently, maybe you do not need that one, but for the general craps player I think it’s helpful. He does offer his opinion on each strat, as a dealer and has seen it all. I almost never give my opinion and just haven’t seen these strats under real world rolls for any significant time. Now I completely disagree about the first dvd, I may have covered his strategy but don’t do it justice, he rolls for at least an hour covering many different scenarios that I didn’t cover, he also covers many other informational topics and I highly recommend it. I have also just watched his “dealer” video, it has a lot of info and I’m going to have to watch multiple times. Great stuff in my opinion.
I ordered this DVD set a long time ago. I got started hearing about Golden Touch from the History channel and then I found John's site. Enjoyed his DVD learning how to play and some strategies I used. Helped me a lot.
I used this video to teach my wife how to play craps for the first time in Vegas this last weekend. Thank you!! Combined we were in for $600 and out for $2000 at the Fremont Casino. $15 table. This is her favorite game now.
Today I went to the hospital for a needed surgery. Wanting to be in a positive mindset, I wore my favorite t-shirt...my black "Color Up" one. Surgery went fine and was facing a long night of recovery. My wife, wanting to be helpful reminded me it was Friday and a new video of yours likely may be uploaded. Sure enough, here it is. Love the topic and the video. Truly appreciated how much this brightened my mood! Fairly certain I will be trying this tomorrow on my craps mobile app. Thank you!
Just used this strategy today only difference being spreading out my presses so one isn't disproportionately higher than the others but I was rolling and made $4000 before I sevened out on $25 minimum table. Only my second time playing Craps. Thanks for the strategy!
Coughing to cover mumble!!! {Bulls Tuff}!!! But glad u won i love anyone winning!!! Did u tip the dealer??? With that big a hit $4k IDK?? what does a CRAP dealer really do?? Push the dice to you? Always say "7OUT!!! " MUCH MUCH MUCH LOUDER than any other # ! Just to rub in the fact that just about everyone at that table just lost? An lost big! Get mad if only 1 dice hits the back wall an make u reroll a great hand that almost always was paying BIGBIGBIG 2 U !! Also repeats YO 11 really strange! Like if we was out in public an i heard him say that out loud i would move a few feet away from him or at least make myself self aware of all exits near me! Some will whisper to you while selecting you 2 dice out of 5 which one not to select, but i believe that last 1 is a inside joke ment to get more tips if they roll big on the first out. So the answer is NO I tip sparingly or place a bet for the dealer at least!!
@@troykinnison4575 i won 4150 or something like that so i tipped everything over that 4k with how happy i was that i won. The dealers were pretty pumped for me and said to collect and leave the casino lol
I’m a new craps player. Watched many of your videos and decided to go live last night on a cruise ship. $10 table. 30-45 min of play time. $300 buy in and after tipping, colored up at $529 using this strategy. Had over $125 on the table working before the shooter rolled a seven. I realize this won’t happen every time, but I had tons of fun! Thanks for this channel and informative videos!!
Tried this today at the local casino and did very well. 200 buy in. 2 quick 7s had me nervous. But I stuck with it and hit some great rolls. Love getting paid 25 to 50 on the come out 7s. Thanks for the videos
Thanks for this strategy employed it at the bubble craps at harrahs rincon the shooter had an unbelievable roll. One player commented; ‘keep it up I can finally afford a new car’. I used it to get my pass line from $5 to $30 and won a few
I was playing at a small tribal casino in northern Oklahoma tonight. My normal strategy was failing me. Took a break, came back with a fresh buy in an doubled my money with this one! Table started to turn, so I colored up, and went to dinner. Thanks!
Which casino? ? Oklahoma got the wheel and dice around October or so last year. There was a huge teacher walk out and the state has loosened up its laws a bit. I believe it's for more opportunities to tax casinos so they can raise teacher salaries. I could be wrong though.
I practice this strategy a lot, and I'll be honest...it is FANTASTIC! I'm an aggressive player, and my local casino has a $25 minimum, so I press my bets by one unit on every win. I use this to get things going. As a controlled shooter, it's a great way to start my gameplay!
No offense but this system seems like the "stay n play" and sort of break-even over time. It's great if you want some action on a players card and stand around having drinks. I like the $75 don't come method better for quicker action. This seems safer and easy to follow. I just don't see doubling or tripling the bankroll here. I like playing the game but I want to double my money if possible on a craps table. This system is kind of like sitting at Pai Gow and just breaking even and drinking. :) Nothing wrong with that!
I have always been interested in craps, but never found a way to learn. This video was the best I have seen to teach me how to play. Wish me luck soon! THANK YOU very much
Also a tip on when you call the dice, don’t call the numbers that make the total first, always call the total and then you can say the numbers that make the total. Example - (six rolls 4-2) say “six easy, came 2 by 4 the lumber number” also never say “and it’s a seven and we’ve got a 9” always say the number first and then say whatever you want after. It will avoid any confusion for your listeners and watchers and make smoother and faster action for your videos. Don’t forget to show your subs how to tip their dealers too. Great presentation btw, good production quality. Keep up the good work.
I really like this strategy! Slow and steady wins the race so I would turn my bets off after 2 hits and wait for Big Red to show and restart the process! I can win 20 hits off 10 shooters vs waiting for a hot shooter that may never come! I was just in Biloxi for Superbowl and man the tables were cold! Wish I would have been playing the don't pass and don't come!
A Cool way to play a hot roller being cheap to win big. I think it would be faster to just have a bigger bank roll of 300-500. Minimum on the pass and 20 across after the first roll. Hope for at least 2 hits to be safe or hope for a good shooter and try for 5 hits then pull all your bets. Would love to see you try that.
This is a fun one. You've reach goal early and your wife is still at the SPA. It keeps you active, you don't loose a lot or gain a lot but have a drink on the casino and move your units around.
I was just wearing my "p"ass line shirt at the casino yesterday. The dealers loved it! The box man even fixed my my line bet to match my shirt! I then went on to toss 24 numbers and five front line winners. Great crew, great energy all thanks to a laugh we shared over a shirt!!!
Dealer John is top notch. I discovered his betting pattern on youtube years ago. I ordered his first set of DVDs and really enjoyed them. Even my wife was able to understand them!
I purchased his DVD a while back and actually went to the casino to try this strategy. The big problem I kept running into, is that you don't get a lot of long rolls at the table. Also, I feel when I did get at a good table and a good shooter, I still felt like I was losing because I had no odds behind the pass line.
Anywhere you slice it, the house has the advantage and every single role. You have to have long extended rolls to make money and then you can certainly give it back with some more cold shooters. Any strategy works great when the table is hot and it works like shit when the table is cold. No different on the don'ts. When the tables hot you don't win the table is cold you win but then everybody leaves the table. If you manage your bank real well you won't get her too badly, but look at it as entertainment and not I get rich quick scheme! Now if you know how to control the dice and only have a couple people at the table, that might be a little different story
I like this method too but I think the best strategy is the one that goes with the current trend of the table which does change. This method works with hot trend
Been playing craps for a few years now but learned by watching mostly. You did a good job of explaining this and it is much appreciated. Going to try it this week on my trip to Vegas.
I use this strategy and it has done great for me. The wife and I both started with $100 in Tropicana and cashed out at $2,500. I have not used the field bet but not a bad idea. I will try that next time.
When buying a 4 or 10 hand off 2$ change lock up the bet and set it up for a 25$ chip with a buy button (professional craps dealer) i love your videos man keep it up
Thank you for sharing. This strategy worked well for me. i walked away with 300 more bucks and leaving Vegas up for the first time. The one thing I would add is that this worked for me as the roller. But find it difficult to use when others were shooting the dice.
Hav seen same vids, i agree...very good presentation. I am subscribed to two craps channels....yours and one that shows the videos you speak of...cool to see someone else praise his work. Too bad his work didnt make a bigger splash...guess you have to carry on....you do a great job also!
Too lengthy to explain in text, but it involved more pulling than pressing with random throwers....decent profits. Basically followed it exactly, when I was throwing. As usual, timing is everything, I pulled down all bets several times, after a few hits, and naturally the 7 showed up. Dealers started hassling me when I’d pull down the bets, but it didn’t phase me as I walked to the cage.
This strategy worked pretty well for me this weekend. Got lucky with a shooter at our table, who rolled for probably about an hour. Started with $300 at $10 minimum, walked away with a profit of $262
Question: Wouldn't it be better to keep track of your winnings on the pass line and take those YO and 7's and move them to odds instead of stacking? Two things, you're getting paid better, and you dont have to waste money on protecting your hi pass line bet with the craps bet. Also: I'm not stacking a pass line bet when I can take that $5 and put it on the 10 (last number needed) in the scenario around the 30:30 mark. Outside of that, I love this strategy because you can play a really long time and maybe catch a couple $200 rolls. I love your videos. I'm a huge fan. You've taught me so much.
I understand not taking the pass line odds with this strategy. Many times I have seen a shooter have a hot streak of 7's/11's on the come out rolls. The max odds bettor just racks the $5 wins (nothing to get excited about) and it feels like the game really doesn't start until a point is established. When that happens with this strategy the pass line quickly grows to $35 or $50 and this strategy does not want to put an additional $50 from the rail at risk for odds. Minimal risk with a shot at huge rewards with a hot roll. As for all the 2 hits and down comments - Of course do what works for you, but I only get to a craps table a couple times a year and I have no interest in grinding out a few hundred dollars, I want a shot at the big win. For me it feels great to start with $22 at risk and wind up having that 4 get hot and quickly having a $100 buy on it. I really don't want to go home up $300 dollars when a potential $10000 roll comes around.
-A $10000 roll comes around? Are you kidding or something? When that type roll comes around you will LIKELY NOT EVEN BE at the right table, never mind being in the casino at all! Especially since you're only at a casino 'a couple of times a year'. Forget about that amount, it's not gonna happen! Concentrate on being part of a $300 to $500 roll especially if you're betting from the $5 level. Unfortunately, you're a bigger dreamer than me. Readjust your thinking, good luck to you anyways. @@aebalc
I actually used this strategy and it worked but had all my numbers full then a 7 rolled. I found it better to start with a $12 bet on 8 and 6 and then put $5 ON another bet n keep that profit
I like to hear someone say..this is my favorite "WINNING" strategy. In the end on all gambling strategy, good luck formula is the best winning strategy. Good luck to all !
Thanks for the video. I just came back from Vegas an saw a layout at the Craps table in the Excalibur that was very interesting. They called it No Craps Craps! What they have done is eliminated the don't pass line! Then they added the 2, 3 , 11, and 12 as place bets! So the Come line doesn't lose on a 2, 3, or 12. The bet moves up to the number just like the 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10. It was a 5 dollar table on a Saturday night! Being a Sith Lord (playing the DarkSide) I didn't like this layout! But I understand why the casino has done this since most people play the pass line so why not get rid of the don't pass line. So now you can place 52.00 across all the numbers. The payoffs are 6/1 for the 2, 3, 12, and 5/1 on the 11. Wild stuff! What do you think?
Stephen Scisney most places call it “crapless craps” anyway, some of the outside points pay a little less than they should and the house edge is higher than “normal” craps for those points, but the 4 -10, whether you pass or place bet are the same I believe. The stinky part is when you get a 2 or 3 as the point, chances of hitting are slim, and that’s why payoffs are higher.
Looks like fun... Not much on the table to start but can build for a HOT shooter... Good option on the 6/8 is to always press at least one unit. $12 (6) pays $14... use $6 and rack $8. Also at some point if you are making point #'s would take the winning and put ODDS on it. $25 pass line with no odds..??? why not $10 pass with $15 odds ($16 for 5/9) Just some ideas, but nice concept. Just like any system, if the table is cold....you won't win. Good Luck, love the channel
I used my $25 -5 $30 - 6 &8 $15 field for two rolls and down strategy and was up over $100 each time before you 7d out. Ended up $70 ahead at end of video. Now I will figure out what you would of had if you pulled down your bets after two hits.
Thanks for another great video I am off to Vegas the end of next week so this week will be spent reviewing all of your strategy videos . Keep up the work - you are getting lots of fans
Been watching your vids for a few days now. one thing i really wish to be added in future videos is a small box somewhere in the top or bottom corner or or something that shows: original bankroll and total earnings that updates as the video goes. that way i don't have to try to guess where you are throughout the vid. Love your videos man they help me alot!
The thing about this strategy is I'll call it the "ima live forever" strategy. It takes too long before you can begin to see any profits as you are waiting hit after hit to add $5 at a time so by the time you start to recoup, the odds are against you because you are on the 5th or so roll and the average roll lasts 8.5 rolls. This is kind of like the mentality that some people have that waste their lives hedging and saving and preparing for a future, little by little, then bam that future gets erased by a metaphoric point 7.
LOL! Love the ILF moniker. But the dumbest thing about this strategy it seems to me is continually pressing the pass line bet after hitting several points. If you want to do that, just put more free odds behind the line. At least the payoff is better if you hit the point. I swear, I really don't understand how some of these strategies can claim to be "strategic."
This is a fun strategy and you definitely get a bit of action, I would modify this to only play the pass line if I was offered the dice and only if I could place decent odds behind it. I would also focus on the 6 and the 8 as those two numbers will be your bread and butter. I wouldn’t full press anything but at the same time I would go up a unit or two after each number hits to recoup some money here and there. And for gods sake, never play the field it is one of the worst bets in the house even if you hedge it. Great vid btw.
Actually on this layout because the 12 pays triple on the field it is a better wager (house advantage wise) than placing the 5,9 or 4,10. Sometimes I like running a Labouchere on the field - lots of action. If I want to slow things down I’ll up the bet and do this on the Don’ts. Love this strategy in the video, will have to try on my next trip.
I seen many times after points established then 7 out by random shooters.so if I play pass line with them, I don’t do place bets, only play hope bet.spent smaller and good pay if hitting.some shooters did dice setting before the roll,it’s make longer roll, then I will do place bets, after 3/4 score hits,Turn my bets off or one unit working.waiting for 7 out.keep small winnings better than lost all.
Do you have any "$10 dollar table minimum" strategies? My casino only has $10 tables I usually go with a $200-300 bankroll, but can get ate up very quick at times. I wish we had $5 tables.... Thanks for the uploads I appreciate the time and effort you put in$!
Any strategy that requires longs streaks to pull in a good profit doesn't work much at my casino when I'm playing( I play 2-3 times a week). Most shooters get 3-5 good rolls before they seven out. I like that this strategy is fun to play. If table is hot enough, I would go off on my bets after 5 good rolls. Might even collect more often vs pressin up. (I play conservative and not high roller) I like how you used the field to gain chips for the pace bets
I have a Simular strategy, but without risking your winnings plus what you've made... Place 5 6 8 $10/$12/$12 and $5 or riskier play $10 on field collect all hits until $37 is reached (not including passline bet) Then just one unit up everytime until 7 out...won 4k three serperate occasions but 7 outs happen more often...consider switching strategies on a cold table amd play dont pass as well
Nice, I like this one, I have been messing around with a slight variation, for the pass line betting I am using the field bet strategy and progression from your video, "Make $100 every time." Starting the pass at 2 units vs the single units at the 6, 8 and field start. Also, some interesting Vegas notes for places to play live and test strategies. Santa Fe Station has a craps machine that doubles as a roulette machine where the minimum bet is $.25. And if you want to play speed craps the Tuscany casino has single player boggle style craps with $1 minimum and you can play as fast as you can go.
Fun strategy, I like the idea of aiming to use earnings and lowering the risk of losing one's bankroll. I don't get 2 things though: 1) Once all the place bet numbers are covered, pressing each place bet after it hits itself and racking after it hits itself again seems like prolonging an already risky long run (it feels like falling into gamblers fallacy), I'd rather press once (inner numbers first regardless of which # hits) and rack next (again, regardless of #), and rinse and repeat. 2) Stacking the winnings of the pass line onto itself instead of the odds: I assume because the aim is to get a winning come out 7/11 roll with said winnings where you can't yet bet the odds, I'd rather save the front line winnings and add them to the odds upon hitting a point, even though there are better probabilities of a natural 7/11 than craps on come out, there are still more probabilities of hitting a point number than craps or natural 7/11 on come out roll, thus better pay on odds than just flat bet. After hitting the point, sevening out will will still lose bettor all the bet on the front line regardless whether it was on odds or flat out pass line, hitting the point will earn bettor more though. All different tastes and approaches I guess.
I gotta say, this video was the perfect depiction of every craps table I've ever been to. Either back to back Point>Seven>Point>Seven shooters with nobody getting a chance to really play and tossing your money to the casino, or Seven out just as things start to look up and you're building up for a good run only to get wiped out again. Craps is by far my favorite game in the casinos but every time I've played for the last three years I haven't been able to enjoy myself (which is all I really go for) because it's just lose lose lose. Craps tables used to be energetic and fun, now whenever I go there's no cheers, no joy, just everybody nervous the shooter's gonna seven out instantly before they can even collect on their bets. To me I think that's were casinos are losing their clientele, sure there shouldn't be an expectation of winning, but there should at least be a hope of winning, and when you create an environment where there's no sense of hope, the games aren't fun anymore. It's not just Craps either, I've seen more Blackjack dealers give themselves 20s up to eight hands in a row and not give anyone a single face card, I watched $1 slot machines play a whole $100 worth of spins and not even hit a cherry to break even, and I've seen pocket Aces lose at Three Card and ultimate Texas hold'em tables more so these last few years than the five to six years prior.
Hey man love the vids keep em coming. Ive learned craps from watching your vids and now understand the game alot better. Is the an app that you reccomend? I have a couple but there seems to be all sorts of issues with them when it comes to placing bets w odds.
Love the videos! Your videos are well done, and I like how neutral you are in presenting different strategies. I play a lot of different strategies depending on the table and my mood. Usually when I first step to a table, I play the dark side. Most often I play 2 points with a don't pass followed by a dc. I will lay 2 units odds on the 4 and 10, 1 unit on 5 and 9, and no odds on the 6 or 8. However, I also typically place any open inside numbers after the come out roll. I consider it a conservative strategy. What are your thoughts? I have had some people at the table tell me it is a great strategy, but I have had others tell me it isn't.
bretj30 it’s a very wise way to play, lowest house edge bets. Of course it just depends on how the dice roll if it’s great or bad that particular day ;)
@@ColorUp Thanks for he confirmation. I feel like its solid. I don't usually play with a huge bankroll. I like my $5 tables. I'm headed to Vegas in a couple weeks and hoping Excalibur still keeps a $5 table rolling. It's been a few years since I've been to Vegas. I am usually a Louisiana gambler.
bretj30 Excalibur should have it at least during weekdays, if not I would head to the downtown casinos, I prefer them anyway. Good luck on coloring up!
Well they always pay double, so a full press every time you are still collecting. $25 pays $50, you bet $50 and collect $25, $50 pays $100, you bet $100 and collect $50 and so on
I'd be interested in your thoughts on this strategy at a ten-dollar table, but with a single press (press for $5 or $6 for the 5, 6, 8, 9) on every role. And of course buying the 4 and 10 on the first win.
I've been messing around with this strategy and found an interesting variation. If you bet 2 units on the 6/8 (or 6/5, 8/5) at the beginning, you can offset any field loss and use the winnings to replace your field bet and get another number up.
That is what I do if the 5/6/8 hits, double up, but just don't start that way. Its good idea if the 5/6/8 hit first, otherwise unnecessary risk if the field rolls first
@@ColorUp I get that. I also work in playing the field until all numbers have at least 2 units, then press and collect from there. Its a bit more risky, but I've found that the risk/reward pays extremely well on a good roll. especially if you can get the 5 covered with two units first. Of course, now that Im locked in my house all day, Ive been trying a bunch of different strategies, but I like this one the most. Definitely aggressive.
The only suggestion I would have to how you're playing this way is after you got everything correct and all the numbers covered collect no more than one or two rolls pull everything down and just cover the six and eight building your profit a lot quicker
I like this strategy a lot, the only thing I don't quite catch is the progression on the pass bet. Seems like you add 5 your first two hits, then you start adding 10, as you keep going what makes you escalate the amount you're putting back in?
I have played that strategy lots of times with the exception of I start taking down the outside bets after a few rolls, the 4 and 10. One or two rolls later I take down the 5 and 9. If you've made it that far you have obviously made profit so you can leave the 6 and 8, unless you have pressed it several times then maybe take them down. All of this of course depends on a long roll.
He doesn’t like math LOL just kidding @ColorUp. He doesn’t want to invest too much by placing odds you’re risking more money but on the other side of the coin you’ll win more money. It’s all just a gamble
You have better odds of hitting a 7 on the come out and getting paid than hitting your point and getting your odds paid off. A couple come out winners and your racking a decent % profit.
Except he’s not racking enough from the stacked pass line IMO. His line got to $35 once and lost having only racked maybe $10 in winnings and another time it got to $50 and he had only racked $10-15 before losing the $50. Even though most stack ‘em don’t rack ‘em proponents collect after the 2nd parlayed hit (5-10-20 and collect $40 on the hit).
This is a good strategy if you are the kind of person-like me-who hates sitting around watching numbers roll that you don’t have. If you are lucky enough to have a more fair field bet it is even better
I have watched many of your videos. You built all the numbers up, which takes time, then start to take profit. How about start out high, say $18 on 6 and 8 and if you hit, take the profit and reduce to $12. Hit again, take profit reduce to $6. Wait for the 7, or built up again, $6 a time, if there is a long roll but you have your money out of the game
jeremy, what is the video in which you have John as dealer with you where as he calls the dice in his unique voice? can you send the link please. TY. Glenn
I just started learning craps and your vids are great! Just curious if you know of any online craps games (free) that I can practice (with chips similar to yours to simulate a real casino)?
I never knew about the Any Craps until this video, thanks! Question: why don’t people just always bet $35 on the pass line for coming out rolls and put $5 on the Any Craps? they either win $30, not lose any money if a 2/3/12 rolls, or they get a point to potentially get higher odds on pass line. i don’t see the down side unless im missing something?
Why not up-a-unit instead of press and collect? I really like this strategy. I think it's easier to keep track live if once you've recouped, just go with up-a-unit on the inside numbers. You had trouble remembering which ones you had pressed and which ones were collect... Up-a-unit is better until you hit the same number many many times (like 11 times if I remember?)
@@kickroxbarefoot726 exactly, once he gets his money back as soon as possible, what I'm suggesting is just do up-a-unit instead of trying to remember if he's supposed to press or collect?
There’s a way to keep track while you were at the table. Set chips up in your rack to represent each point stack a second chip on top of it when it’s been hit that way you know to press at that time
I played a variation of this on my last casino trip. $10 table and basically just doubled all the bets. One addition is a bet a $35 don't pass on the come out instead of the pass line bet. I would then place the 6 and 8 for $12 each, make a $10 field bet and then also either place the point for $10 OR go ahead and place the 5 for $10. On long rolls that didn't make points, I killed it of course, on short 7 outs I was good because of the don't bet. And on rolls that shooters hit 2 or 3 points, honestly I didn't lose too much because they were hitting lots of numbers too. I'll also say that after my 5, 6, and 8 got up to like $24 or $48 (20 and 40 for the 5) I would bring back the field bet. Nothing like a 4, 9, or 10 hitting and you collecting $$$ in multiple spots and then when the non field numbers hit, I was making a profit still because the size of my 5-6-8 bets. And then on one roll, I had a shooter just park his rolls on the "4" and I made ALOT of money......most profitable night for me. I got the "4" up to an $800 bet and hit on the $800. I didn't have the balls to double that, but was really happy for the rolls. One additional question about etiquette........On this particular roller that was hitting the 4, I had made ALOT and am a very fun guy as far as bets are concerned as far as placing bets for dealers......After I think I'm up to $400 on the 4, I think I put the dealers like $25 or $50 on the 4. They of course are loving it.....as we are celebrating the next 4 that is hit, I look down and the shooter has a pass line bet and then maybe 30 behind in odds. I'm having a blast, making cash, and this guy is doing it for me......I want to get him involved in the fun. I've done this a couple of times making a $50 4 bet for the shooter and I think I put up a $12 6 and 8 for the shooter. He got a few hits but then sevened out.......when you want to bet for the dealer, is it proper to do it then or approach them after and slide them just some chips. Again, I've placed bets a few times for shooters, and I would always love for a bigger better to throw money my way, but then again, I could see how it could throw a shooter off......what's the thought in here on whether to put money up for the shooter so he can see it......
I think it could possibly add pressure or get in their head, I would just give it to them after the win. Don't think there is a "proper etiquette" Very generous of you and sounds like you had a great time!
I am going to take all the numbers you have rolled in this strategy and apply a different one I seen on your channel . Although I do not recall if it was named other than your favorite strategy or not. It includes a 10.00 dont pass and placing the 6 & 8 , press and rack alternately after covering all four of the inside numbers . (no field bets ) but might be a help covering the inside numbers . I like the idea of taking out the 7 from a long roll .
I like doing the iron cross, with 5, 6 and 8 with double the minimum each, and the field at the minimum, to start. Press but, everytime you press you double the field, as well.
Well... I have played about 50 hands of this on a simulator. The vast majority of the hands were losers, a few were winners and one hand was one of the magic rolls we all dream about, where I had pressed all the numbers up to $100 and they kept hitting. $5 turned into about $1500. But there was a lot of losing on both sides of that. I think the big problem with this is the number of rolls it takes to get all of the numbers covered and “paid for.” Most hands are shorter than that. If you can deal with losing a couple hundred bucks almost every time you play, just to get that really special hand once in a blue moon... this could be your strategy
I am just learning craps and these videos are big help. Question: on pass bet winners, wouldn't it be better to use those winnings to max out the Odds bet before pressing on the pass line?
Yes and No. It depends how the dice roll. Mathematically the answer is yes, as you would get a 0% house edge bet with the odds, and win more. But reality is the game is decided 33% of the time on the come out roll with a win or lose. Pressing the pass line you are trying to take advantage of the only time you are favored to win the bet, and a huge 8:4 advantage to win. After the point is set, you can then "press" by adding odds, and again, its a fare superior bet, but you are always more likely to lose at this stage of game than win.
I dont know if you already have a video on a similar hybrid system I play, but its worth a test even though I use it only when I shoot with dice control. Lets use $5 units. I load all numbers with a unit but with two units on the 6 and 8 plus one on pass line with all bets on on the comeout. $49 investment. I look to hit 5 times or 4 if it hits point on the 4th roll. Then I take off all bets to lock in a small profit and continue on with John Boenders favorite craps strategy until I seven out which ends my session. If you use a hardway set and can initially consistently roll 5 times without a 7, you will make money.
Even with random rolls its a fun game. The fact that you are placing your maximum initially with all bets on puts a smile on the crews faces. That extra dollar is a bet for the dealer, so $50 investment, but that doesnt count when play testing. If I bomb out within 5 rolls which occasionally happens, I leave. If I roll past five, that means I go home a winner. I live 5 minutes away from the casinos, so I have the luxury of picking my times and spots of when to play, and play $25 units.
Has anybody ever tried going with the trend? Like if the pass wins you bet pass. If the don't wins bet the don't pass. Basically you win on streaks and lose if it keeps going back and forth. I always play the don't pass, some I'm just wondering.
Read what I got him play on your table in what you make a profit every row
I ordered this DVD set a long time ago. I got started hearing about Golden Touch from the History channel and then I found John's site. Enjoyed his DVD learning how to play and some strategies I used. Helped me a lot.

I used this video to teach my wife how to play craps for the first time in Vegas this last weekend. Thank you!! Combined we were in for $600 and out for $2000 at the Fremont Casino. $15 table. This is her favorite game now.
Just got back from the casino. $200 bank roll... using this strategy, we hit a heater and I walked away with $800.
Thank you!
hawkeyetob getting well soon!
Speedy recovery
That is a fun strategy...i would just modify by putting free odds on the pass line instead of pressing the pass line bet up.
Tyrone Powers absolutely take the winnings and press the odds to the max allowed
Much better idea. Why press the pass line bet up 5 to get 5 back when you can get at least 120% of that $5 at no extra risk?
Always take the odds - double will reduce vig to 0.6 %. Instead of "stacking", save the same bet amount for single odds first time.
Anybody else make the "ass line" by covering the P on purpose?
lmao!!!!! imma do it next time and imma laugh to myself......
I've been doing this for a while :D
I thought it was an unwritten rule to do that if you are in that position? 😏😂
Yep.. do that all the time
I’m a new craps player.
Oh that sounds like a lot of fun! Great first experience. Thanks for watching
Tried this today at the local casino and did very well. 200 buy in. 2 quick 7s had me nervous. But I stuck with it and hit some great rolls. Love getting paid 25 to 50 on the come out 7s. Thanks for the videos
Aw man I remember purchasing his video many years ago and still use this strategy today.
Thanks!
I didn't think that Oklahoma allowed dice games?!?! Have the laws changed in the last couple of years?
bretj30 - yes, I think it was in November when they changed to dice craps and ball roulette!
Which casino? ?
Oklahoma got the wheel and dice around October or so last year. There was a huge teacher walk out and the state has loosened up its laws a bit. I believe it's for more opportunities to tax casinos so they can raise teacher salaries. I could be wrong though.
Therron Humphrey - it was Tonkowa Casino, off I-35 at mile marker 214.
Its break even or loss a little, until you have an extended roll, then you start full pressing, and I have more than doubled and more plenty of times.
Do you have a video about the 75 dollar don't? Ive seen it before but not from you
Yes. ua-cam.com/video/0_fj2CH58hU/v-deo.html
I have always been interested in craps, but never found a way to learn. This video was the best I have seen to teach me how to play. Wish me luck soon! THANK YOU very much
Great to hear, thanks. And good luck at the tables!
@@ColorUp Nice channel. Recently subscribed. But man, you are one lousy roller. 😄😄
Thanks for the call tips! I mention tipping quite a bit. ua-cam.com/video/FLmeS6Z_toM/v-deo.html
Louis Van Dyke awesome!!! Thanks for sharing this, made my day :)
Dealer John is top notch. I discovered his betting pattern on youtube years ago. I ordered his first set of DVDs and really enjoyed them. Even my wife was able to understand them!
awy1977 yep, love his first dvd
I purchased his DVD a while back and actually went to the casino to try this strategy. The big problem I kept running into, is that you don't get a lot of long rolls at the table. Also, I feel when I did get at a good table and a good shooter, I still felt like I was losing because I had no odds behind the pass line.
Five count works, dude.
This strategy has been by far my favorite and won me a few grand. If you’re lucky enough to get long runners it’s godly
yup :)
I use this strategy and it has done great for me. The wife and I both started with $100 in Tropicana and cashed out at $2,500. I have not used the field bet but not a bad idea. I will try that next time.
You must have had some HOT shooters. How long did it take you?
When buying a 4 or 10 hand off 2$ change lock up the bet and set it up for a 25$ chip with a buy button (professional craps dealer) i love your videos man keep it up
Joseph Basilio if the vig is charged up front....I prefer casinos that only charge on win, what’s proper way to handle that?
Thank you for sharing. This strategy worked well for me. i walked away with 300 more bucks and leaving Vegas up for the first time. The one thing I would add is that this worked for me as the roller. But find it difficult to use when others were shooting the dice.
Can't wait to watch this brotha! Heck yeah.
Where do you play. Would luv to shoot with you someday. Wife and I like to go to Reno and Vegas twice a year
george rojas I play at harrahs Cherokee casino in North Carolina
About time you made this. With all the strategies I always wondered
Hav seen same vids, i agree...very good presentation. I am subscribed to two craps channels....yours and one that shows the videos you speak of...cool to see someone else praise his work. Too bad his work didnt make a bigger splash...guess you have to carry on....you do a great job also!
Yo color up is one of my favorite channels !! I’m gonna get me a shirt or some swag too , Keep doing amazing work I’ll keep watching !!!
This weekend I used this strategy (slightly modified) combined with a little dice influence= good profit.
Great video, keep ‘em coming.
what were your mods?
Too lengthy to explain in text, but it involved more pulling than pressing with random throwers....decent profits. Basically followed it exactly, when I was throwing.
As usual, timing is everything, I pulled down all bets several times, after a few hits, and naturally the 7 showed up. Dealers started hassling me when I’d pull down the bets, but it didn’t phase me as I walked to the cage.
This strategy worked pretty well for me this weekend. Got lucky with a shooter at our table, who rolled for probably about an hour. Started with $300 at $10 minimum, walked away with a profit of $262
You had a shooter roll an hour straight without hitting a 7?
Love the videos. Going to play craps for the first time tonight. Going to try this strategy. Wish me luck. Great channel.
Good luck and have fun!
@@ColorUp Thanks for the reply. It was the first time I had seen it at the Excalibur. Keep sending out those great videos!
Yep, these strats are meant to modify to your liking
I used my $25 -5 $30 - 6 &8 $15 field for two rolls and down strategy and was up over $100 each time before you 7d out. Ended up $70 ahead at end of video.
Now I will figure out what you would of had if you pulled down your bets after two hits.
Thanks for another great video
I am off to Vegas the end of next week so this week will be spent reviewing all of your strategy videos .
Keep up the work - you are getting lots of fans
You are not going to press the 4 since the 4 will only hit maybe once prior to the 7. Hedge and increase the Come.
Hmm, I’ve been doing that in my videos for last 6 months or so
@@ColorUp yup I see that now. I suppose I've only been watching the old videos so far! You're awesome 👍
I was about to comment this word for word...I feel like you need to back up that pass line bet once going in on a number

Just double this strategy.
If I saw this guy rolling craps at a table in Vegas , I would jump all over the "Don'ts" 😁😁
Great Strategy I worked it today and took home $540
I think this might be one of the strongest system I have seen for a small investment 👍🎲🎲💰👊
So awesome to see videos like this. I like how you can compare different strategies. So cool!
I have a Simular strategy, but without risking your winnings plus what you've made...
Place 5 6 8 $10/$12/$12 and $5 or riskier play $10 on field collect all hits until $37 is reached (not including passline bet)
Then just one unit up everytime until 7 out...won 4k three serperate occasions but 7 outs happen more often...consider switching strategies on a cold table amd play dont pass as well
Nice, I like this one, I have been messing around with a slight variation, for the pass line betting I am using the field bet strategy and progression from your video, "Make $100 every time." Starting the pass at 2 units vs the single units at the 6, 8 and field start.
I don't get 2 things though:
1) Once all the place bet numbers are covered, pressing each place bet after it hits itself and racking after it hits itself again seems like prolonging an already risky long run (it feels like falling into gamblers fallacy), I'd rather press once (inner numbers first regardless of which # hits) and rack next (again, regardless of #), and rinse and repeat.
Yep different approaches, adjust to your liking.
Anyone else notice from 2:28 it says ass line lol ... fun strategy!
because you are an ass if you play craps
It seems like in most of his videos he places a chip on the P. I don’t think he does it on purpose but it is funny.
Hey great videos I'm curious where did you get your craps table ?
Built. Layout from casino supply dot com
Just learning craps now, great video!!
Check out my beginner/how to series

If you do a full press on the 4 and 10 every time the hit, how do you make any money off them?
I could see pressing the first time to get to the buy, and then going to collect-and-press. But if you never collect... you never collect.
Well they always pay double, so a full press every time you are still collecting. $25 pays $50, you bet $50 and collect $25, $50 pays $100, you bet $100 and collect $50 and so on
If you always parlay, you will end up losing.
If you press the 4 or 10, you will be collecting half of your winnings.
3:11 sounds like your stomach didn’t like that move 😂
I'd be interested in your thoughts on this strategy at a ten-dollar table, but with a single press (press for $5 or $6 for the 5, 6, 8, 9) on every role. And of course buying the 4 and 10 on the first win.
You just never know, just depends how the dice roll
Would you use pass line winnings to take odds on future pass line bets?
I would, yes, that’s a good play
He should do the same video but have the min bet be 15
I've been messing around with this strategy and found an interesting variation.
Definitely aggressive.
so, you played for half an hour, saw a lot if action, and you're down $8 from your initial $200 bank roll. A lot of fun for 8 bucks
Thanks, great vid! Question: Is your craps layout/felt available for purchase somewhere?
I got it at casino4you.com
The only suggestion I would have to how you're playing this way is after you got everything correct and all the numbers covered collect no more than one or two rolls pull everything down and just cover the six and eight building your profit a lot quicker
I like this strategy a lot, the only thing I don't quite catch is the progression on the pass bet. Seems like you add 5 your first two hits, then you start adding 10, as you keep going what makes you escalate the amount you're putting back in?
Great video! Just wondering, when you “buy” your placed number bet, what does that do?

@@ColorUp thank you! 👍🏼👍🏼
I was getting worried you wouldn’t be able to do one this week. Phew!
I like the black table layout you have, where did you get that?
Casino4you.com
I have played that strategy lots of times with the exception of I start taking down the outside bets after a few rolls, the 4 and 10. One or two rolls later I take down the 5 and 9. If you've made it that far you have obviously made profit so you can leave the 6 and 8, unless you have pressed it several times then maybe take them down. All of this of course depends on a long roll.
Sounds good, like the variations.
Why wouldn’t you place the point wins as odds? Curious
KickRox Barefoot I think I might respond to a lot of comments that way from now on.... I don’t like math haha
Keep up the great work. Love your videos so much.
This is a good strategy if you are the kind of person-like me-who hates sitting around watching numbers roll that you don’t have. If you are lucky enough to have a more fair field bet it is even better
Awesome strat man!! Tomorrow I'm heading to Las Vegas and definitely trying this
Have fun and good luck on coloring up
I have watched many of your videos.
No odds on the pass line? Seems random, not a smart way to play.
Played your strategy for the first time and won big in about 2 hours
Nice, works sometimes but not all the time, its a fun one
jeremy, what is the video in which you have John as dealer with you where as he calls the dice in his unique voice? can you send the link please. TY. Glenn
He has been in a couple …. ua-cam.com/video/t-IBDDGWErM/v-deo.html
@14:50 why use any craps when you can use the field? Or does any craps pay double on 2/12 and single 3?
any craps pays 7:1 $5 pays $35 - $5 field pays $5 or $10 on the 2/12
I just started learning craps and your vids are great! Just curious if you know of any online craps games (free) that I can practice (with chips similar to yours to simulate a real casino)?
Ive been enjoying this demo(free) game lately casino.draftkings.com/games/d0580e28-de91-4265-800e-1038dbc9a399/draftkings-craps/demo
I feel like this strategy would be amazing by doing a don’t pass instead of pass
Interesting idea.
The $5 any craps will win $35 once every 9 rolls on average. It will cost you $45 to make those 9 bets. Thats how the casino gets ya.
I usually limit my place bets to only a couple. I like the come + odds since it pays more money for me!
Twinsen764 as long as playing 5x or more odds come bets pay more :)
How would you weave in some come bets to this strategy?
Why not up-a-unit instead of press and collect? I really like this strategy. I think it's easier to keep track live if once you've recouped, just go with up-a-unit on the inside numbers. You had trouble remembering which ones you had pressed and which ones were collect... Up-a-unit is better until you hit the same number many many times (like 11 times if I remember?)
Because the object is to get his money invested paid out as quick as possible. Then he is playing with casino money.
@@kickroxbarefoot726 exactly, once he gets his money back as soon as possible, what I'm suggesting is just do up-a-unit instead of trying to remember if he's supposed to press or collect?
There’s a way to keep track while you were at the table. Set chips up in your rack to represent each point stack a second chip on top of it when it’s been hit that way you know to press at that time
noonkest tweak any strategy I show to your liking and comfort level
Again, I've placed bets a few times for shooters, and I would always love for a bigger better to throw money my way, but then again, I could see how it could throw a shooter off......what's the thought in here on whether to put money up for the shooter so he can see it......
that last question should be when you want to bet for the shooter
Press but, everytime you press you double the field, as well.
popular, I show that on one of my vids
Yep, that’s the goal of this strategy, just to hit that one hand
Great video for players of all skill levels in my opinion!
Glad you enjoyed it
If a 2 or a 12 is hit on the field bet would you place all 3 remaining numbers?
Yes, great point that didn't come up in the roll i guess.
Sounds good to me, didn't think about that.
I love that felt color. Where did you get it?
casino4you.com
They also have orange, grey, green, burgundy layouts.
Chase Reed he has done a video on this already actually. I've played the streak before as well. Just a little boring
