I’m really glad you do your videos in one shot and don’t edit to make yourself win or alter outcomes! It really shows how the risks and rewards are more prevalent in some strategies and your chips can fluctuate at different rates. Keep the videos coming, still new to the game and I love the excitement at the tables!
Many thanks, I've been looking for "betting on games" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Dondiviar Tiylena Booster - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got cool results with it.
I just wanna say THANK YOU!! I literally watched this earlier today & now I’m leaving the casino wit almost a thousand. I came to the casino wit only $60!! Thank you sir !!! I watched your videos before but this strategy is by far my favorite🔥✅
I turned 44 insinde into 1250 on a huge roll pressing for the first 10 hits or so and started collecting. I lost about 400 when I finally sevened out! My best craps story!
@@ObsidianObsession Buy his book, it's the best chance you have to win on the crap table. He said IF you are going to play the field. He does not recommend playing the field.
Great Strategy. I tried this at my Casino on Bubble Craps. I only started at the $1.00 level. It worked really well. I ended up winning $50.00! Thanks so much Jeremy. You do a Fantastic Job with your Video's. 😊😊😊😊
I never really play the field, just on my practice table. But I saw a guy at Seneca Niagara play it for hours. The dealers even call him "Mr Field". He just bet $10 a throw, never varied his bets and walk out a winner both times that I saw him. As it was a $5 game at the time, I played 5-10 - 7-15-10-20 for about an hour and made a hundred. I also bet the pass line when shooting. Can't really endorse the method, but it was relaxed and fun.
Yeah, hard to endorse because of the house edge, but like you, I have seen many a player walk away happy with field betting. Thats why I never criticize how someone else plays, you just never know. :)
My philosophy is this, if you go to casino and say " this how much I can afford to lose" then stay home, you're gonna lose it. I go and say " I'll bring this amount TO WIN money" and if the gambling gods are not out , then I walk before I lose. Play the " no pass line" on cold tables, if things still don't work...leave, there's always tomorrow, have a one drink at the bar and go home.
I disagree, I believe there is hot or cold tables, problem is you can only describe them as such after the rolls have been seen. :) the next roll of dice can end hot or cold so you cannot use past to predict future. So basically I agree :)
Started with $100 @ GN in Lake Charles..Won 1100 ... 5, 6, 8 to cover field bet. It is key to know to count the Dice & numbers rolling. No dice strategy is Solid gold. A lot of winning comes from tuning into intuition & letting the numbers do the talking
I love the excitement of the game, especially when you have a table full of fun loving people. Use strategy if you must, it is all part of the fun, but no strategy can beat pure luck. Just make sure that you limit your losses to a certain amount and never never go over it.
Most fun I've ever had gambling was playing craps. I was on fire throwing the rocks for some fucking reason and felt like a drunken hero. People were throwing chips my way and buying me drinks. i had the dice for almost 2 hour.s i don't know shit about shit and was there for a wedding. It was a blast!!
@@howellwong11 thats what was going on then. i was just partying and havin fun chuckin those dice and looking at how happy everyone was and loving the praise and cheers
Statistically the least bad bet since all bets have a house edge is to play the don't pass bar and then followed up by maxing out the laying the odds bet. It sort of depends what the min bet is though as they will short change you. Depending on what it is betting pass and presssing the odds may be better. If they don't let you at least double the original bet for laying or pressing the odds you are most likely better off playing blackjack.
I meant 5 6 & 8. I was thinking of trying his strategy tonight. I used to play the field when I didn’t know anything about craps. Back then, I was winning all the time and wondered why the casinos in Vegas had such an easy bet to win lol
I like playing the field when I see the to the 12 and the three keep coming up. But I can't find which one's going to come up and when I bet all of them also in the nine will show up so I go okay the field numbers are coming let's bet the field
I would just hedge the field with place bets on 5,6, & 8. Then apply the same strategy to them. If you have up to 3x pressed up on the place bets, you'll still win even if the field loses. A 7 will still wipe you out but the point is to ride on a hot shooter in any strategy.
It work much better starting with $5. 5-10-10-15-30 etc..... minimizing your bad streaks to losing only 1/2 yet winning virtually the same when the hot streak comes. Great idea, Thanks
I play a similar strategy but, on a $5 table, for an easy example, what I do it bet $5 on the field with the 5, 6 and 8 at $10, $12, $12, and that way, even when I lose on the field, I still win $5 until I start pressing but, I'm only pressing with winnings so I'm still making money. Last night, I made a little over $400 while a friend of mine was doing a Martingale on the field alone and left $3,300 total down!
1st time ive seen the field played this way. very interesting strategy. My guess is that if you were trying for the sixes and eights you would hit 20 fields in a row hahaha. the life of a craps player. good video
I want to try this strategy using the iron cross... but just play one units. Should be interesting to see how it plays out. Going to try on my own table a couple of times first.
The field bet loses on 5, 6, 7, and 8. The odds of those rolls happening is 20/36 or 5/9 = ~55.5%. The odds of winning is 16/36. The double payout on 2/12 gets you a greater payout, on average, but can't make up for losing on 20/36 rolls.
Well it doubles the house edge from under 3% to over 5%, but something like this isn’t about house edge, you have to have dice roll in your favor to win.
The only way to play the field is to find a table that allows hop bets at 15 to 1 on easies and 30 to 1 on hards. There, you can cover the 5, 6, 8 with little money and use the odds to let the field ride. You have to hedge field bets. If you dont, you have to be really good at guessing. Placing numbers to hedge the field is bad because you wouldnt want to turn 10 dollars into 40 and risk it for 4 dollars. You gotta do your own strategy. but if you like the field, find a hop bet table..
i use a similar strategy, but i cover the 5/6/8 usually ( unless people are rolling out within 3 rolls of setting point). i say similar because i use the blackjack stacking method, just add 5 each time from the win. I will give it a go next time to see if its more profitable than mine ( when dice are cooperating of course ). will still probably cover the 5/6/8 if rolling is not under 3.
I'm trying to figure the increases out. 50% of $15 is $7.50, making the next bet $22.50. And 50% of $25 is $12.50, making the next increase $37.50. How did you get the numbers you got?
Have you ever done a passline strategy just strictly on the passline or is there a strategy I just don't know about where you only bet on the passline thank you in advance
Brian Nunes I think in my beginner series. Nothing wrong with just betting the pass line only. Can be small bankroll and one of best bets in casino. Might not be considered a strategy, more like a single bet
You can bet it just as insurance for when you miss the place bets but dont crap out. That way you win on every roll that's not a crap out. Obviously you gotta stop if you crap out a couple times in a short period but if you get some hot rollers you can rack it up.
It seems like every time you try out a strategy, you nail the field all the time. Now when you’re trying to hit the field, you are pulling the mid numbers. Sounds like my luck at the tables. I am glad to know that you shoot these videos without editing for the win. That would do us no good whatsoever. Thanks for the entertainment. Keep on making these videos, and I’ll keep on watching.
Forrest Crawley I have a gift for rolling the wrong numbers lol. The other day I got a comment saying I must have edited when dice fell off table for better result. Are you kidding, not sure if anything I ever show wins haha
Color Up, win or lose, gambling (for me) is for entertainment purposes only anyhow. Watching your videos is just as entertaining and it yields the same result for me. That being no extra money in my pocket. At least this way I’m not losing the money I’ve allotted for my entertainment. Haha.
I've read Sams book and its a great one for discipline play. After watching this roll. Obviously a 6/8 place bet/come pressed 2x. would cover loss then parley to a $ 5 hardways 4/6/8/10 for huge payout. I hate the field bet 16 ways to win..20 ways to loose..buy it sure can pay out. I never had the bankroll to play this field only. I have varied it a little reducing loss odds by waiting for the field #s to show up. Then bet / press 2 times then off the field for next roll. Taking the shorter winnings until I have enlarged my bank roll to play Sams full on Field strategy. Just a few days ago at Phoenix Wild Horse craps Guy played this up to 600$..Then rested waited for new shooters field to show up put all $600 back out.. and he won...$1200... not bad considering it all started with original $10 bet.
Correct me if I am wrong but why not just start with $20... then drop to $15 after hitting? Would be the same thing since you always press your first field hit.
Same here. I usually play a progression on the field and thought maybe this video will give me another way to play it. That beginning of the video KILLED ME! lol
Billy Bob I look for $5 min games and progress 5, 15, 35, 75, etc. Sometimes I’ll go A, B, C progression or sometimes play a D bet. If I don’t hit the D bet then I’ll take the loss and try to recover starting from A bet again. It all depends how I’m feeling at that moment. Good luck
The best way to go is to wait for a seven to drop then bet the 5,6,8 and field ( 205 ) total ...hit em a few times then leave ......set goals.... take a small profit then walk away your there to win not have fun !!!! Great video just an example dice have no memory and that time is on the casino side
So if was at $25 and a triple 12 hit (like the online table I'm at now), I would press the full $75 to be betting $100 instead of just doubling it to $50?
I did this video a long time ago, so don't remember the specifics, but I would suggest doing what you feel most comfortable with. Press it all, or collect $25 and bet the $50. Im a more conservative player so would probably collect whenever the decision comes up.
Sorry if this is a dumb question as I have severe ADD, but I'm trying to see the pattern in raising your base bet. It goes up by $5, then $10, then $10, then $15, then $25, then $50, then $50, Then $75. Your not going up the same amount each time. Please tell a dolt like me how I can remember this easily. Thanks for posting this!! Going to Vegas in a couple weeks.
aerlial360 goes up approximately 50% each time. If starting at $5, 50% is $2.50, add to $5 you get $7.50, just make bet $7 - 50% of 7 is 3.50, add to 7= $10.50, just make bet $10...50% of $10 is $5, add to 10= $15...and so on...add 50% to your bet and round to nearest even amount. And you don’t need to worry about being exact, as long as increasing bet. 5-7-10-15-25-35-50-75-100
I made $2000 playing the field last time I played craps. I'd wait for what would be a loss in the field "5, 6, 7, 8" and than I'd throw out $50. If I lost the $50 I doubled down to $100. If I lost again I tripled my bet. Started with $60 from ATM ended up earning $2,156 minus table tip and my vodka drinks😎
I don't know................. watching this seems like it reinforces how bad the Field is :P I still like the 6,8,Don't Pass strategy as it goes well with my conservative play style What are your thoughts on 52/54 across? I find it a poor strategy that I see all too often which requires multiple scores to at least break even.
Everyone has their own ideas of what is good/bad. You just have to go with what is comfortable for you and that you have fun with. As far as 64 across, if you are rolling numbers and can avoid the 7 for a little bit it can work great, or if you just hit one or two numbers then pull everything down, that can work as well. Rarely do I see people willing to pull money down though so.....only gamble what you can afford to lose.
how about this. bet the minimum on pass and don't pass keep replacing these bets till a point is set then if the point is 6 or 8 put odds on the pass line bet if the point is 4 or 10 lay odds on the don't pass line bet not sure what should be done for a point of 9. I think a 5 point will have been a loss for the don't pass so it will not matter.
I like your videos! Thank you and Keep em coming! I played craps last night and this dude played the field along with taking odds on the 6 8 & 9. He did really well.
Oh I've never played craps in my life. I've been watching yoyr videos yo learn how to play and I have to say that you've done a fantastic job. I've tried to learn how to play craps 4 or 5 times, even taking "classes" at the casino and for the first time I really feel like I have a good idea of how the game is played. So thank you very much for the videos and instructions.
Levi's Wranglers thanks great feedback, it’s a great game, and I don’t like that so many don’t attempt because it does seem intimidating. I’m glad your learning
What I like to do is put $12 on the 6 and 8, then do this strategy on the field once im in the profit. 5 and 7 is a loss. I could put $$ on the 5, but that decreases the odds of profitability. Play $10 on the field, or $15. If a 6 or 8 hits, you win $14, or a net of $4 with a 10 on the field or a loss of $1 with $15. I parlay the field bet if it hits the first time. Next roll hits the field, im only at a net $4 loss. Any roll thats not a 5 or 7 and I make money and am at least my break even point. That happens in 3 or 4 rolls. I believe its the cheapest way to cover the most amount of numbers. You could cut that in half with $6 on the 6/8 and $5 on the field. I do this until i get a feel for the table if I play the pass or dont pass as another level of betting. If im on the donts, i put odds only on the 4/10. I also have a habit of putting my extra $1 chips on the hard ways of my 6/8 or 4/10s. If it hits its a few extra bucks and if not its only a couple dollars here or there.
Color Up good to see a video again,i guess you been busy, like you said it is just another betting strategy ,which does not mean that is how you would bet for real money, keep up the good work.
I tried it on WinCraps for 360 rolls. I was ahead a little at first then it went down, and down, and down. I was down $440 then it went up a hundred for a while, then at the end I got to $110 ahead and failed at the double down on $35 ($70 bet) (8th bet). This system shines when you collect on a 2 or 12 on a higher bet, or when you can put them back to back (dice setting). There were 70 times when I lost on the 2nd roll in the sequence, and 50 times I won on the 2nd roll only, and there were 46 other results past the 2nd roll. It says I won 166 times and lost 28 times more than that for a 7.778% lose rate, my 7's were rolling 20% of the time for some reason.
I have the book it says to start the field progression after a field number appears. Field and non field number can run in streaks. See a field bet the field. See a non field no bet.
He describes this strategy at beginning of chapter7 , while he does say he has seen streaks, he doesn't say to start after a field number appears or "see a field bet the field" ?? Maybe he mentions that somewhere else in book?
no worries...while it is kind of a superstition to wait and see the field first, because probability wise it doesn't matter, you can't have a "streak" until at least the first one hits right : ) Every streak has to start somewhere so no harm in waiting for it to start first, Thanks for watching
I live near Dallas. In a few weeks I will be going to Shreveport, La and playing craps. I plan to try this strategy, along with $6 on the 6 & 8, and probably a buck on the hard 6 & 8...I believe this would be a good hedge against the Field Bet Losses. I am going to go back thru this video and pretend I have money on the 6 & 8 and hard 6 and 8, and see how it adds up. I will report back when I get back from Shreveport..
I occasionally play the field. I bet on every throw. I bet the minimum then add (1) unit after a loss or keep the bet the same after a win until I win (1) unit then start over.
This is not a very sound strategy (but I have seen worse) because you are bucking a 2.8% house edge. If both the 2 and 12 paid triple (there are some tables which do but they are rare) then it would be worth a shot. Otherwise, why not use the same money management idea on placing the 6 or 8 which is only a 1.5% house edge? No matter how you slice it, there is no way short of cheating where you can overcome the negative expectation that the game of craps poses. If you are going to play, the best way to minimize the house edge is to bet either the pass or don't pass line and take or lay full odds. Same goes for the come and don't come. You can add as many of as few as you want, but keep in mind the more you add the greater the volatility that you will experience.
You are absolutely correct !! I only bet the 6 and 8 and the pass, come, don"t pass and don't come. I also take full odds or lay full odds. Those are the bets that have the lowest house edge. All other bets are for suckers (people that don't know or care about the math)
I would like to see you suggest a strategy where two people working together can play the best strategies off of each other and really beat the house! I know one could play the don't with dbl odds while the other could place 6s and 8s How could you both (together) LOSE at the end of the evening?
the field bet wins 16 times out of 36 so the odds of a successful bet are 44.4% The odds of winning 4 rolls in a row at 44.4 % comes out to 5.8% not what I would call a good strategy.
Anyone who talks about odds as if it's the number one factor to successful gambling, has no idea what they're talking about. Odds rarely have any relevance to the likelihood of what will happen in a given play session, otherwise we could all just play the Martingale system and be rich. Odds are purely for calculating your betting strategy. Odds generally won't add up until you've seen a thousand rolls/hands.
no, the martingale strategy fails because eventually you either run out of money or hit the table limit and cannot make the next bet in the sequence. In all martingale strategies at some point you will be risking hundreds or even thousands of bets to win 1 bet. A much better strategy is to increase your bets when you are winning, so that the reverse will be true. if you get a long enough streak eventually you will have the chance to win 50 or more bets while you only risk losing the initial single bet. I usually quit before this. I recommend a 25 bet win as a quitting point, unless money doesn't mean anything to you.
Victor V Odds are everything actually. The better the odds, the less money you lose over the course of a lifetime. The martingale strategy does not work, statistically speaking.
i shot craps with Sam a couple of times at Binion's years ago...i had read his book before i met him....i payed close attention how he bet....very conservative....and he played the don't side
Hey, I'm fairly new to craps but doing a lot of research on different starts, I have been using 10 on pass, then 75 on dont come after point set, then 10 on the 4, 5, 6,8,9,10 (besides the number the point or my 75 is on) and also putting money on the odds under the pass line area so if I hit the point I win that also. . But what would happen if you had $10 on the field and $10 on 5,6,and 8 also so when you lost on field you would win on those so it would wash? Then if you did win on the field that would be gravy?
jeremy adams it sounds like what your basically describing is called “the iron cross” strategy, I have done a couple vids on it. ua-cam.com/video/Tn5z8Me_phE/v-deo.html
Color Up basically yeah, but i do all the top numbers not just 5 6 8, but I was referring to this strategy here, what if you covered your field bet by placing bets on 5 6 and 8 also along with field? That way when you roll a 5 6 8 you lose field but you win those and it washes.. that way you can focus on building your field Bey without worrying about losing on 5 6 8.. only thing to worry about would be 7 then?
The one roll 2 or 12 is probably the very worst bet on the dice table along with the ANY 7 bet, that's right up there too. If you really want to bet the 7 do a 3 way hop bet on the 7. Each one of those pays 15 to 1 if it hits. Great to try after a shooter 7's out and after a new shooter just threw 1 7. Back to back sevens happen a lot!
Now run this strategy on the pass line. But keep it in units not percentages. Every win you press one unit and pocket the rest. This means you minimize losses when the table goes cold, but a couple hot shooters will make you big money. Nothing is guaranteed to make money, but that is a good strategy to make decently consistent wins. But be smart and walk away when you make a few hundred.
Best bet buy the 4 and 10 . Pays 2 for 1 . 6 combinations against the 7 with 6 combinations . It takes one hit to catch up to the seven . Let's say 25$ on the 4 & 10 wins you 50$ - 1$ vig. Let's say the 7 rolled 10 times and the 4 rolled 5 times and the 10 rolled 8 times . That would give you a +3 . 3x50 =150 - vig 13$ = + 137 . Let's say the 7 rolled 10 times and the 4 rolled 5 times and the 10 rolled 5 times . That would put you at a 10$ loss.
I like this betting strategy BUT not the way you did it. I will do my normal betting but will do this as a "side bet" with someone else is shooting and on a limited basis. What I mean by this is that I will let the shooter make a few rolls and then make the first $10 Field bet. If that hits, then I do the double bet, if that hits, I will actually pull my bets back, wait a few rolls and then do the $15 bet. So in other words, I am using the same system but only two (sometimes) three rolls at a time. I have had MUCH better luck doing it this way then trying to do it every roll like in the video.
field bet is all i played the other day when i played craps for the first time. i put in 190% and i left with 480. Only placing bets on the field so worked for me
Shawn Aguilar it’s comparable to roulette as far as the house edge, so if you have fun with it, nothing wrong with the field and with a little luck you can color up.
Going back in a few weeks! wish me luck, lol... Walked away with an extra $200.00 I dont have to try to become rich, just as long as i walk away up, i'll be happy. Thanks again for the vids!
at this rate of loss why not bet pass line then when point is set place the 6 and 8 and either put odds on them or for lower risk just let it play and rack the winnings.
If I was playing a strategy that had me making a $250 bet on the field and I lost, I would not drop down back to a $10 bet, I would drop to my knees and slit my wrists open with anything sharp that happened to be within Arm's Reach.
J. Lathrop well if you are up that high ($250) in this progression, you are doing well and have won quite a bit of money and so the $250 wouldn’t hurt that much...the previous bet alone you would have won $175 and pocketed $100 before placing that $250 bet...but of course walking up and putting down $250 to start would be pretty crazy in my book as well
I feel this strategy would work wonders if you showed some dice control or sets. Also why not spread the winnings out and place some on the numbers not in the field? Hard pressing even with just $500 and only playing the field seems like your huge winnings are far and wide. To spend 15 minutes at a table and only win $75 seems slightly risky especially if your not setting. Also, are these bets being placed no matter whose throwing? I’ve been watching a lot of videos lately and only found two who explain when to bet this way especially if your the only one at the table that knows how to set your dice
This video just shows the authors particular strategy, and I stick to it when making a video. As far as dice setting/controlling I only throw random, so if you believe in control than you would only do better than my random examples.
Why would anyone keep putting more money out on the table after getting whacked 3 times in a row?? It would make more sense to back off after 3 losses and wait for at least one field number to show up ,before resuming your betting…..or even wait until two consecutive field numbers show up before betting again….At least that way you are charting the table as you go along and betting only when field numbers are showing up….and backing off when 5678 are showing up frequently…..
Honestly the field bet isn’t as bad of a bet as everyone makes it out to be. For 10 dollars you can cover 16 combinations of the dice vs the place bets where you have to put down 64 to cover 24 combinations
The key to winning on craps is to be able to roll more tha 6 time before 7 out. My average is 10 to 12 right now. The range is 2 to 50. Had two 40+ rolls this week.
Yes, if your average is 10-12 you should be winning at the game. The avg. hand lasts 8.5 rolls according to math probability, With the 7 showing once in 6 rolls.
Maybe you could share a good technique to maximize comps if that’s such a thing. Or at least explain the comp model used when playing dice? Thanks! Great videos by the way.
In my experience, I have seen many more "no field" runs, than wins in the field. It is not unusual to see a run of ten "no field" throws, but I still come back to the field at times but will not play unless there is a triple payout on 2 or 12.
Maryland Casinos are obscene because the lowest minimum you can find on anything is $15 and that is only on a weekday afternoon. otherwise it's at least $25 minimums. that includes blackjack, roulette, 3 card poker, ect.
Yeah, I've heard that about Maryland and will probably never play there because of. Im curious, when the minimums are $25, what are the limits on the electronic machines craps/blackjack etc?
Color Up I think they are lower, but I never play them. I just feel a little off when playing anything electronic like that because there is no sure way to know if the machine is rigged or not. I know that it's supposed to be regulated, but I don't trust the inspectors to properly check the machines, if they even do it. Call it paranoid, because it is, but I know way too much about how computers can be manipulated then switched to play fair within a matter of seconds.
The problem with your simulation is...... You must change the dice on a 7out. You cannot use the same dice. That’s not how it works. I wish the casino would use the same dice-all u gotta do is avoid quick 7outs. I’m still working on my strategy
Usually, all you have to ask is "same dice", and they'll let you play with those dice. Maybe it is not the same everywhere, but most casinos allow it. Casinos don't need superstition, they have math on their side.
Trae McPherson.....what crap player you know who just saw a 7out and want those dice? I have never seen it. Every shooter-every real shooter picks out his/her own dice. When the die shoots off the table is the only time your might hear “same dice”
@@RapLord1977 Ah, I misunderstood you then. I thought you were talking about the 'dice off the table' scenario. When it's my turn at the craps table, I rattle around the dice and pick two, just like everyone else. -- Usually, on these videos, he does put all five dice back out again after a seven out.
but it looked like it hit a wall about the time it touches the pass line... was rolling one direction.. then BOOM and goes the other way. Not saying it did anything wrong or cheating.Love your channel.
This strategy looks promising but this video shows that most of the time it's going to fail you unless you have a ton of money to keep it going long enough to win and that's assuming you win at all. I would probably pair this up with bets on the 6, 8, and 5 (which only rolling 7 will lose so if you get a good run going you can cover them all it will pay for itself) so you can recoop your loss when you don't win on the field.
I am going to blend this strategy with my roulette game. I play 2 of 3 columns, so my odds of winning are nearly 2/3 (quite a bit better than my odds in the field) and the payout is still 2:1 (3:1 minus the column that lost). Anyone else play an interesting roulette strategy? I have only played about 30 hours worth total, but I enjoy it, and have come away pretty significantly ahead a couple nights (still down about $250 in total). Would love to actually walk away with more than I lost by year's end.
I am interested in roulette strategies. I don't know how you would make a video though, as the wheel and ball take so long to spin and fall, whereas dice are nice and quick. Part of why I like roulette. Its a more relaxed pace. There is time to think and calculate. I've made $100 last 14 hours. But that is a little long for youtube.
Yes you will win 2/3 of the time except for the 5.5 % of the time when the Zero comes up and you lose both of your bets. This makes for a 5 1/2 % hose edge which is 4 times higher that the pass line bets in craps which is 1.4 %.
I have a better Field strategy.....only play it under 2 scenarios. 1) If you Place bet two of these numbers (5, 6, or 8) or 2) If you play the Come Bet and get any two of those same numbers. That way you would win on 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12 and either 5/6. 5/8. or 6/8. Only two numbers would cause you to lose. It's basically Insurance. If you don't hit the Field, you still win on the two numbers not on the field. But every time you win on the Field it's a good win. It really works out better if you play scenario 2 because you can place odds on the 5/6, 5/8, or 6/8 and win a decent amount either way instead of basically pushing in scenario 1. You don't lose near as much as this guy did. .
I’m really glad you do your videos in one shot and don’t edit to make yourself win or alter outcomes! It really shows how the risks and rewards are more prevalent in some strategies and your chips can fluctuate at different rates. Keep the videos coming, still new to the game and I love the excitement at the tables!
I just make videos like I would like to see them, thanks for watching and the feedback.
When it wouldn’t hit, I kept telling myself “Stick around for winning rolls” 😭😭😭 thanks for having that in ALL CAPS at the bottom! 🔥🔥🔥👌🏽
I turned 44 insinde into 1250 on a huge roll pressing for the first 10 hits or so and started collecting. I lost about 400 when I finally sevened out! My best craps story!
“As you can see, we turned our $200 into $95 real quick.” Lol. Sounds like craps to me!
Tim Urich yep, more frequently than not ha
Lol

If you weren’t making a line bet you would not be shooting
My philosophy is this, if you go to casino and say " this how much I can afford to lose" then stay home, you're gonna lose it. I go and say " I'll bring this amount TO WIN money" and if the gambling gods are not out , then I walk before I lose. Play the " no pass line" on cold tables, if things still don't work...leave, there's always tomorrow, have a one drink at the bar and go home.
Love it!
There is no such thing as a hot or cold table. There is just the next roll.
Howell Wong good advice
Most fun I've ever had gambling was playing craps. I was on fire throwing the rocks for some fucking reason and felt like a drunken hero. People were throwing chips my way and buying me drinks. i had the dice for almost 2 hour.s i don't know shit about shit and was there for a wedding. It was a blast!!
@@throttlebuff Usually, the dice thrower never makes the money. It's the savvy ones who recognize a hot thrower and ride him.

But I can't find which one's going to come up and when I bet all of them also in the nine will show up so I go okay the field numbers are coming let's bet the field
if you would have been playing iron cross strategy you would have been a millionaire....
Larry Bowman exactly - place the 6 and 8 man wtf
I would just hedge the field with place bets on 5,6, & 8. Then apply the same strategy to them. If you have up to 3x pressed up on the place bets, you'll still win even if the field loses. A 7 will still wipe you out but the point is to ride on a hot shooter in any strategy.
TonesTheGeek sounds like an iron cross variant
I believe this would work great if implemented with the iron cross strategy, could you do a video of that?
That's what I was just saying please don't pass to Wyn the 7
5/6 + 8
It work much better starting with $5. 5-10-10-15-30 etc..... minimizing your bad streaks to losing only 1/2 yet winning virtually the same when the hot streak comes. Great idea, Thanks
Barry g thanks for the feedback
I play a similar strategy but, on a $5 table, for an easy example, what I do it bet $5 on the field with the 5, 6 and 8 at $10, $12, $12, and that way, even when I lose on the field, I still win $5 until I start pressing but, I'm only pressing with winnings so I'm still making money. Last night, I made a little over $400 while a friend of mine was doing a Martingale on the field alone and left $3,300 total down!
1st time ive seen the field played this way. very interesting strategy. My guess is that if you were trying for the sixes and eights you would hit 20 fields in a row hahaha. the life of a craps player. good video
exactly! never fails, at least in my videos ah
Why not do this strategy with $6 on the 6 & 8, and cut your losses when they hit ?
P M you certainly could, there are no rules...this just happens to be how this particular strategy was presented
I want to try this strategy using the iron cross... but just play one units. Should be interesting to see how it plays out. Going to try on my own table a couple of times first.
Dennis Shaw
The field bet loses on 5, 6, 7, and 8. The odds of those rolls happening is 20/36 or 5/9 = ~55.5%. The odds of winning is 16/36. The double payout on 2/12 gets you a greater payout, on average, but can't make up for losing on 20/36 rolls.
Jonathan Hains that’s correct, every craps bet is a loser long term, some just faster than others when the dice don’t cooperate!
How about a hard 6 and 8 for a hedge?
Is it worth playing this on a table where the 2 and 12 only pay double? No tables around here pay 3x on the 2 or 12.
Darnell Hill thanks for your feedback!
I wonder if this would better on a bubble craps machine. Where the minimums are like a dollar.
i use a similar strategy, but i cover the 5/6/8 usually ( unless people are rolling out within 3 rolls of setting point). i say similar because i use the blackjack stacking method, just add 5 each time from the win.
Might not be considered a strategy, more like a single bet
how about hedging our field bet with a don't pass bet?
This would have been a perfect “Big 6/8” strategy lol TY for always sharing...I like watching the field strategies :)
It’s more likely to lose a field bet so you only want to go in big with your profits
Great response Alex
I thought this would be a form of that Iron Cross strategy? Do you follow Wizard of Odds on house advantage?
Wizard of odds is a great resource
As a player who plays the field; the first 8 minutes killed me. Haha!
Same here. I usually play a progression on the field and thought maybe this video will give me another way to play it. That beginning of the video KILLED ME! lol
_babaganush_
Do you progress in the field if you win or lose? What increments do you use? (Ex 10, 30, 90 or something else)?
Billy Bob I look for $5 min games and progress 5, 15, 35, 75, etc. Sometimes I’ll go A, B, C progression or sometimes play a D bet. If I don’t hit the D bet then I’ll take the loss and try to recover starting from A bet again. It all depends how I’m feeling at that moment.
Good luck
I was wondering if it'd ever pay out, I started reading comments till eight minute
How does this work? Thought you had to bet on the pass line if it's your roll
If you are rolling the dice, you are required to have a line bet. In many of my vids, I simply show things assuming someone else is rolling.
If you’re actually going to bet the field negative progression is the best strategy
The best way to go is to wait for a seven to drop then bet the 5,6,8 and field ( 205 ) total ...hit em a few times then leave ......set goals.... take a small profit then walk away your there to win not have fun !!!! Great video just an example dice have no memory and that time is on the casino side
Jay Makk thanks for the feedback
How did you get the table to change just by snapping your fingers?
My day job is a video editor
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't
I don't know................. watching this seems like it reinforces how bad the Field is :P
I still like the 6,8,Don't Pass strategy as it goes well with my conservative play style
What are your thoughts on 52/54 across?
What table do you have there? What kind of investment are you looking at for something like that?
Just a kitchen table with a nice layout on top. about $100 at casino4you.com
I like your videos! Thank you and Keep em coming!
I played craps last night and this dude played the field along with taking odds on the 6 8 & 9. He did really well.
Do you only bet like that when you throw the dice or on other shooters as well?
Well to shoot, you would have to additionally play a line bet, pass or don’t.
I wonder if you could help increase your odds by fusing this strategy with an iron cross type strategy.
Levi's Wranglers give it a try!
I have watched a lot of your vids. This is the only one that shows pressing a Field win. Why don't you do another with a 5,6,8 {cross}?
Desirae Krogman The Best Slot Hits hey, thanks for giving a rundown on how you like to play, sounds good,
Color Up good to see a video again,i guess you been busy, like you said it is just another betting strategy ,which does not mean that is how you would bet for real money, keep up the good work.
Little Jimmy yep, dang life gets in the way of these vids sometimes:)
Reading the book now.. Thanks !!
It’s one of the better ones.
Thanks for the video. I don't remember seeing that strategy in the Dice Doctor's book. Think you could do it playing the don't?
joe jakovac maybe, thanks for watching
Just threw a few and hit like four 2 or 12's in a row with a few other numbers and won $500!
Eric Bentsen sounds about right, like all strategies, you need the dice to cooperate
You're right, misread Move 4. But have been getting good results waiting on the field to show first. My bad. Really enjoy your videos.
no worries...while it is kind of a superstition to wait and see the field first, because probability wise it doesn't matter, you can't have a "streak" until at least the first one hits right : ) Every streak has to start somewhere so no harm in waiting for it to start first, Thanks for watching
Dice have NO MEMORY!!!!!!!
Ugh...I have to remember everything for my dice...
P M look forward to hearing how the hedge works out...let us know which casinos pay triple on field, if any
Never bets the hard ways. 6 and 8 have a 11.1% house edge and the 4 and 10 have a 9.1% house edge. In the long run those house edges will kill you.
Interesting idea, thanks
the field bet wins 16 times out of 36 so the odds of a successful bet are 44.4% The odds of winning 4 rolls in a row at 44.4 % comes out to 5.8% not what I would call a good strategy.
I was thinking the same thing.
@@austinluepkes5484 Exactly !!
i shot craps with Sam a couple of times at Binion's years ago...i had read his book before i met him....i payed close attention how he bet....very conservative....and he played the don't side
Do you always play regardless of the on / off puck?
For this strategy, yeah, it doesn't matter if the puck is on or off
appears this is a betting strategy that could be used for any near 50 / 50 outcome bet... ie. Bet Black on Roulette.
Yep
Well you are hedging your field bet, but now you do have more at risk for the seven. It’s up to you, no right way, so whatever your comfortable with,
Many dice dealers say the field is the worst bet on the table, but I say it's the best bet because they always forget to take it
HandsomeDan47 haha, if they forget to take it every once in awhile, this would change the house edge dramatically, maybe your on to something:)
I think the big 6 and 8/any7 are the worst bets since they're obsolete.
Big 6/8 are even money, place 6/8 is 7-6.
Any7 is 4-1, 3way 7 hop bet is 5-1
What is the most you can bet on the Field on a single bet?
Whatever the table max limit is...it will be posted on sign on table.
You mean a few thousand.
Thanks for watching and your thoughts on the Buy 4/10. This is a video on the Field bet, you can watch some of my other videos about Buy bets.
Where can I buy the black craps felt from?
I got mine at casino4you.com
I like this betting strategy BUT not the way you did it. I will do my normal betting but will do this as a "side bet" with someone else is shooting and on a limited basis.
What I mean by this is that I will let the shooter make a few rolls and then make the first $10 Field bet. If that hits, then I do the double bet, if that hits, I will actually pull my bets back, wait a few rolls and then do the $15 bet. So in other words, I am using the same system but only two (sometimes) three rolls at a time. I have had MUCH better luck doing it this way then trying to do it every roll like in the video.
Gotcha 👍🏻
field bet is all i played the other day when i played craps for the first time. i put in 190% and i left with 480. Only placing bets on the field so worked for me
Shawn Aguilar it’s comparable to roulette as far as the house edge, so if you have fun with it, nothing wrong with the field and with a little luck you can color up.
Can you do the iron cross with that strategy?
Sure, you can add any strategy together if you like
Just got back from Laughlin, we spoke earlier this month. I think the field is my new bet. It's a lot more exciting.
J. Lathrop that’s dramatic...maybe don’t make such big bets
@@ColorUp nobody should make that kind of bet on the field. That was kind of my point
J. Lathrop well if you are up that high ($250) in this progression, you are doing well and have won quite a bit of money and so the $250 wouldn’t hurt that much...the previous bet alone you would have won $175 and pocketed $100 before placing that $250 bet...but of course walking up and putting down $250 to start would be pretty crazy in my book as well
Couldn't you just combine this strategy with double place bets on 6 and 8 to counteract some of your losses in the field?
yes you could
I feel this strategy would work wonders if you showed some dice control or sets.
I added place bets on the 5,6 and 8, and lost a lot more slowly.
That's the "comped drinks strategy" lol
I like to Play the Field, too! And in a Craps game as well! 🤣😂
Here is some good info on the field bet. ua-cam.com/video/bbsbvprgf5w/v-deo.html
Like what u did , like to see you try $1 place bets on the horn think u come out better. Bank roll last longer
Maybe you could share a good technique to maximize comps if that’s such a thing. Or at least explain the comp model used when playing dice? Thanks! Great videos by the way.

@@ColorUp very helpful, thanks!
In my experience, I have seen many more "no field" runs, than wins in the field. It is not unusual to see a run of ten "no field" throws, but I still come back to the field at times but will not play unless there is a triple payout on 2 or 12.
you never know what the dice will do
At 3:42, 4:57 & 5:13 you are "pressing up" the field bet with chips you lost to the house.
yes?
If you wouldve stopped the video the 1st time this would've been a short session
David Bowser I don’t worry about being rigged, but they just aren’t fun in comparison to a real table
When i saw the book in the thumnail, I thought it was going to be the 5-count by the dice doctor. Or, if not, the doey don't strategy.
What about playing the field and working the 6 and 8 before the point is set.. say like 30 on both 6&8 and 20 on the field? Good idea ?
Brian Scott certainly nothing wrong with playing that way, whatever you’re comfortable with...good luck on coloring up
Wat did the die hit at 5:33-5:35 ?
Larry Whipit 5, UA-cam has a slow motion feature, check it out, dice rolls as soon as stick touches it
but it looked like it hit a wall about the time it touches the pass line... was rolling one direction.. then BOOM and goes the other way. Not saying it did anything wrong or cheating.Love your channel.
Larry Whipit oh yeah, it took a crazy bounce, sharp edged dice do that sometimes vs board game dice, another reason casino use them
Cool, love the videos, plan to watch more.
Thanks for watching and your feedback
I was thinking the same thing
Color Up lol, just realized I described the Iron Cross strategy (though there'd be no pass line or odds bet).
Ryan Aegis curious, would you be interested in me doing roulette videos?
I am interested in roulette strategies. I don't know how you would make a video though, as the wheel and ball take so long to spin and fall, whereas dice are nice and quick.
Part of why I like roulette. Its a more relaxed pace. There is time to think and calculate. I've made $100 last 14 hours. But that is a little long for youtube.
Im trying to figure it out, but the time is an issue to solve.
Yes you will win 2/3 of the time except for the 5.5 % of the time when the Zero comes up and you lose both of your bets. This makes for a 5 1/2 % hose edge which is 4 times higher that the pass line bets in craps which is 1.4 %.
🇺🇸 great stuff guys! I’m really finding myself enjoying your work more and more each day! 🇺🇸
Hey $75.00 is a win!!!!!
Most people don’t look at it like that lol.
In 15m so it’s not too bad, better than a loss
You don't lose near as much as this guy did. .
This works for me, was 15$ table and 12 was 3x which was great
This system I don't care for, but it is everyones choice. 6&8 the inside numbers. Better odds
Positive progression... usually use this strategy at BJ. Thanks for posting Color.
thanks for watching
anyone count how many rolls, curious.
