Its a real story, it happened in 2006 in Kodaikanal Tamilnadu. Geographically it is situated on the other side of the Munnar (Kerala) on the western ghat. Actually, the mountain rocks have great cracks there, which are as deep as the height of the mountains. There are several openings to the cracks and the tourism dept has shut it using iron nets. Subhash has fallen in one of them which is not shut as it is in the prohibited area and is a small opening

Oo man the cold in kodaikanal is no joke ...if possible turn on your AC and watch it .....the freezing cold in the theatre makes u feel like ur with them.....this is a theatrical experience movie....and I would undoubtedly say it's a loss for everybody who missed watching it in the theatres
This movie is based on true story. The real guys who went there and had problem told that there was no gate from where they went down and only a board was there in tamil warning public from going further, but these men didnt know tamil and went ahead.

Actually in real life there were no barricades, there was no gate as showed in the movie, many people were goring and coming back, thats y they decided to go further.
There was u need to see interviews of real boys they said it was true there was some things they dont shown a small part which didnt added the scenes shown in the movies are real

And back in the 2000, many people have gone, almost all Tamilians have gone there after the movie guna was released so they dint think it would be that dangerous. And even ive seen interviews and im pretty sure they said the big gate was only installed later, after the incident.
@@ashlynnmariajohnson9664 bro they have gone there after like more than 10 people died by visiting the cave so there must be barricades and in interview they said they jumped across them when they saw two guys coming back after looking it so they feel confidence to explore and there were board saying the death of people and the horrifying things about guna cave but they don't understand it thats why this all happened and this is restricted area because in the scenes of guna cave in this movie there is a security guy i think he gaved instruction to not go
