PS: your videos make me so happy. When I grow up and retire, I want to be just like you. 🥰 Don’t stress, just keep being your wonderful inspirational self!
That was great, Doreen! What a beautiful place! I think those tent sites along the creek were very nice. I like level too, now that I'm older. I think the park should make an effort to lengthen all those short sites. The last thing I'd want to feel while trying to relax in a wooded area and get fresh air, is to be squished close and feel stressed. If I were planning a trip to that park, I have to say that your tour of it and the detailed information you give here are very valuable. Thanks for this ride through the woods. It was really nice.
@@CampingTherapy Very reasonable fear. I'd worry too, and I haven't broken anything. I'm very aware that my health has compromised me into a position where falling would be very risky.
Yes I have changed camp site because of other campers. Ironically, I changed from a premier priced site to the cheapest site area due to lack of amenities but they were more secluded, quiet and spacious. This was during the week and lots of sites available. The lack of a hot showers was a bummer but when I talked to the office they said the showers were only available to the high priced sites. I asked about paying for one day of the high price rate so my family could take a shower, they said no but they just let us use the shower! We gave them a plate of homemade cookies we had.
Yes, we have moved before .... we have a 35' travel trailer. The "slightly sloped" spot we had picked was more than slightly! We tried to set up but we didn't have enough blocking to make the camper level. It looked unstable and the camper fell off the blocks as my husband unhooked the truck! We were lucky it didn't roll down into a ravine ..... yup, we moved. (We were in a SC State Park)
Beautiful campground! Too bad about having to move. Having had 5 kids, and coming from noisy family, I still prefer peace and quiet! I'd move if there were noisy neighbours. Unfortunately, some people's voices just carry more than others. Maybe campgrounds should have adult sections.
I would so change spots ! I can't wait to go camping with NO children . Yes it is good for the kids but not relaxing at all . Kind of pricey spots and really sad they will not reopen pools . That will save the state a bunch of money 🤑 . Have a good one !
Thanks for watching! Tell me in the comments, which section you liked better in this campground.
I am glad you were able to change sites before the office people were gone!!
Me too! Thanks for watching

Thank you so much!! That's sweet.
Beautiful and green and I love a flat nice place as well ! Good for you 😁
That's one of my favorite campgrounds.

Thanks Ke Le. Ever since I broke my wrist, slopes scare me.

Its Beautiful There Doreen!🥰🤗
Thanks Victoria! It's not far at all. I love these mountains!
I would have changed spots as well. The last thing one needs while trying to decompress is screaming kids! That’s a beautiful place.
It is pretty. I've been going there for many years.
That is quite a pretty campground. I would have definitely moved to another spot. Wise choice😉
Thanks Carol~ It is quite gorgeous in these mountains.
Like that spot down below. We never really camped but it looks like fun something different. Thanks for the review its very helpful!
Thanks for watching! I liked the first spot, but not the noise, and it was very damp up there, since it's more wooded.
Looks amazing.....have fun and be safe
Thank you!

That was so nice that they let you use the showers! This one had the same amenities, but they're a little older on the upper loops.

That must have been scary!
We stayed on 2nd level once when we had a pop-up. Then we had 30 ft and always the lower lvl.
I've always preferred the lower level.

I think it carried more up there, because we were the only ones in that area.
oooo Niewiadow made in Poland
Yes, that's where mine started out, then it was completed in Canada, and sold as a Cadet, in 1987.

$41 isn't bad, but then they add on the $5 reservation fee, and taxes.
We’ve definitely thought about changing site. A screeching kid is definitely reason to. You go camping to relax. That’s NOT relaxing.
