KINGWARKING 12 thanks man!
@@that_tan_s197 was it ever tuned?
@@luisuribe5432 it was tuned in this video
Cammed cars they always break down 🙎🏻♂️
@@j.2391🤡
Years later, shit will never get old baby
Imagine going in a drive thru with this
My buddy has to turn his truck off
My dad used to turn off his evo 10 because it idled so loud
Sounds good 💪👍🔥
it sounds so good, tune needs some love but this is an old video
I need these in my 04 GT stat!
Best song ever!!!
Talk about chopping damn
Nice
Sounds good!!!!
Sounds similar to the b 303 cam I had on my 1990 gt
Was this open header?
Yes
Like a clogged toilet I love it ❤
Congrats, sounds mean
Thanks for recording from the back where it hits the hardest
open headers
That's sounds sick as fuck
Dammm dude sounds amazing. I got stage 2 cams and they dont even sound like i have a cam lol
Sounds like open headers..
How much hp did the stage 2 cams add?
Get a tune and have the tuner make it idle lean. Thats how you get the chop. Tuners can make it idle smooth as if you dont have a cam or make it chop.
@@TheNightmare692009 thanks man, going to for sure get a retune
How do u not notice the line being sucked into the alternator belt?
turbo rides it was only there for first startup. It was moved later!
How long did it take yu to install these ?
could i put this cam setup in my 01 crown vic ?
did you replace the valve seals?
bih CHOPPING
was there valve springs done too??
Nice what year
How much they go for?
What cam grind
Started up with no tune ?
Is that tuned yet??
Whats size cams
Did you by chance try to pass smog with these cams? I have 2 cats on mine now... would love to put in stage 2s but if I cant get an emissions paper there isnt much point in camming my daily. I've heard they might make me roll to dirty and I dont want to waste my time or money... I'd rather put a turbo on it if that's the case.
I did not. This car was open. Headers so there was no point in even thinking about it lol. If the car still has factory cats it should though.
What engine is in this
I have a "stock" 2000 mustang GT 4.6L 2v yeah you know the deal Ima cut the 2 downflow cats off it and leave the 2 upstream and I want to cam it if I put stage 2 comp cams in it is there any modification id have to do to the engine, bigger injectors? I don't have access to tuning.
Technically you need no other modifications to install these cams but it is highly recommended you use comps Bee hive springs. As far as a tune you will need to so one after the cams are in. It doesn’t have to be dyno tuned just email tunes will be fine.
@@that_tan_s197 how does that work? emailed tunes? do you need a like a handheld tuner yourself?
@@swazic7108 yes you will need a handheld like a SCT x4. Once you tell your tuner what modifications are done, they will send a file via email that will have to be put onto the handheld then uploaded to the car.
@@that_tan_s197 i have an accel super tuner, for my 02 gt, you happen to know if that would work?
@@swazic7108 I have not personally used that one, so I can’t say for sure. But if you are able to upload tune files to it then it should
Ik this is an old video and hopefully you respond but I'm 18 and don't know too much but I have a 2000 mustang gt convertible with only 50k miles and I would like to put in some stage 2 comp cams and I would like an opinion on what else absolutely should be done. I would get it tuned and dyno but someone said something about pistons. Can you give me any help?
Anytime someone does cams on a 2v, I always tell them to do the valve stem seals as well, 50K miles isn’t much but I’d do them anyways if you plan on keeping the car for a long time. You don’t need to do anything to bottom end, maybe degree the cams to prevent PTV clearance depending on cam choice but that’s really all you need. Obviously replace valve cover gaskets & spark plugs (Motorcraft SP-493) since you’ll be there anyways. A 255 walbro fuel pump may be a good idea since stocker can sometimes get lean going above 6000RPMs with cams. An email tune from Marty Ochs will be good enough, if you are really serious then a street tune from Marty Ochs would be perfect. Don’t waste your time on local dyno shops that don’t specialize in modular fords, Marty Ochs is the best tuner in the country for these cars.
Source: I street race & daily my 2v, am on my second set of cams, and I have informative videos on this subject.
4.6?
268?
Cams xe268h 🤨
I have idle issues any suggestions to fix that
If it isn’t tuned I would do that. Make sure you have no vacuum leaks (the can be a booger). And make sure you IAC is good to go👍🏼
Have it dyno tuned
What are the cam specs? And do you have the 4v or 2v 4.6?
You can clearly see its A 2v
What year?
2002
Can you drive it with factory tune on stage 2
It is possible but it doesn’t run good
@@that_tan_s197 did you get a tune on yours
@@canasians8783 yes it was tuned in this video
@@that_tan_s197how’d you get it tuned, local shop on a dyno or what?
thanks
Did you have to get notched pistons for valve clearance
what cams are these
Comp stage 2
@@that_tan_s197what duration?
Comp cams don't have "stages".
@CAR3Y4 in a 4.6 they do. I have comp xe274h in my 4.6 fox and they consider them stage 4
Get that bbk x-pipe it is so bad.
She needs a tune
This was actually a Bama tune. Wasn’t the best but at the time I just needed to get it going for mustang week
Sounds like a tractor 😂
Can you cam a stock 2valve? Or should I go FBO first then cams?
