Never played the ps2 original, but I've made a point of picking up all the Vanillaware games since PS2 Odin Sphere, so I have the CE on its way to me. I'm hoping that their newly teased game will be another 2d action rpg in the vein of Muramase and Odin Sphere.
I loved the game when it first released. The gameplay was plenty of fun, and the story was good. Unless the gameplay is not your thing, I'd recommend getting it.
I found out about Psychonauts being free, the day after they stopped handing it out for free. So Ive always associated it with the frustration of missing out lol.
Most of the Vanillaware games aren't for me, but I really appreciate how unique their games are, and the art is always beautiful
I only liked the beat em up games they made
They only made 7 games, 4 of which are combat focused. Which ones are for you?

I love Odin Sphere. Tower defence is not my thing, but I will try it anyway.

As long as the battles aren’t too long this looks good. I’m feel too old to wait around in battles unless it’s a game I’m loving.

This game really shot up in price!! It’s almost impossible to find now under 80$! I love it though!!
I still need to get thr Odin Sphere Remaster for PS4. I will try and get this one. I hope there is a physical release for this one.

I’ve played the demo, but RTS without keyboard and mouse just doesn’t cut it for me. Same for FPS, so Quake on the Switch is awesome with KB&M :)
