  • I Totally Scored a MamaRoo on a local yard sale site for $10 Why you ask Because it was showing the Obstruction warning on it.
    However after watching a couple of youtube video's on how to fix it I figured $10 was worth the risk for a MamaRoo for our soon coming little one. So with some fingernail polish a drill and about 15 min I now have a fully functional MamaRoo for baby Anderson when he gets here!! SCORE!!

    Just tried your fix and it worked for me! Not sure if the nail polish did it or if just cleaning that area was the trick, but either way, yay! Thanks!

    Good stuff. I just had to clean the sensor that reads the white windmill but I wouldn’t have noticed without your video. Thanks!

    Did u show the actions you took to make it work? Seems like u took it apart, then cut to u holding nail polish, but not actually showing what you did to make it work.

      You use the nail polish on the part of the wheel. you have to paint back on the white its a sensor disrupter that sometimes wears away and just needs to be re-coated. You paint it then let it dry and put it all back together and see if that works. That was my main problem i also sugget oiling all of the moving parts.

    There's another sensor under the back side of the part that goes up and down looks like a little computer chip with a white plastic thing holding it in place. Under that sensor is a bigger version of the black wheel with the white squares where that belt goes on the motor. That's where my problem lied and I'm just letting anyone else know on all these videos Ive used to get to fixing my issue. Open to messages if need be... Thanks

    Did u paint the entire wheel on the one side?

    • @AndersonLane
      @AndersonLane  2 роки тому +1

      No just the little white tabs. They are spaced out. I don't know it is the same on the newer models though.

    Trying this on a 2017, but was wondering how long it lasts . Is it a temporary fix?

    • @AndersonLane
      @AndersonLane  5 років тому +2

      mine still works and I did this back in August. it did work better the more you use it though. I let mine sit for a month before I had my son and had to wd 40 all the parts. but it has worked fine since then.
