Midland 38 PR27/97 UK/EU 80 channel FM CB radio - Repair & service

Here's a surplus set from stock going on Ebay:-

These are 80 channel EU/UK FM sets. They are PR27/97 approved and were made in the 1997-1999 era. This one comes with the factor original micropone.
This was a straightforward re-aligment & chasing down a dry joint on transmit.

Keep to the electric. Don't need more GHGs in the atmosphere.
But if you absolutely insist, definitely go for one of those T3000s. Nice looking rigs.

Got to say - horrible penny pinching channel change. Best feature on CBs these days is scan to find if anyone is out there!
