Sorry for the wait, lads. For some reason UA-cam couldn't figure out that the video was meant to be in 4K so I had to reupload it. Enjoy the start of the 2nd campaign in Republic Commando!
I like the horror-esque elements in this level. They did a really good job of raising tension without trying to turn it into a full blown "horror" game. It was a nice touch, and a nice change of pace, while still keeping enough action. This was my favorite level so far because of its atmosphere. :D
I agree. It does a great job of creating a different tone and atmosphere without sacrificing the feel that you’re still a commando. Just essentially showing that anything can go wrong when it comes to a mission with little intel.
There's something just so creepy and eerie seeing how empty a fully staffed ship is. Finding only remnants of clones squads and in some cases just their remains.
I never realized the gore of this Level. and i mean like of course its not gut spilling, but holy hell that blood splatter right next to the clones helmet is just so disturbing enough that you get the picture without even seeing it. along with the clone that was executed by the shotgun
Exactly. Not to mention the clones with missing limbs then you find their arms/legs a few meters away. It's one of those moments where you can take in how bad the situation really is for the average trooper.
That was a nice episode. Nice work putting those lizards in their place. Pretty cool you were able to save that one trooper. Thought they always died no matter what you do.
12:05: True, but a flipping nuke was used against Darth Plagueis at one point. Also, shotguns are super effective when it comes to fighting lightsaber users. You'll understand why during Battlefront II's Operation Knightfall, fighting as a Clone Engineer.
GET OFF ME YOU FRELLING BAG OF BOLTS! heh heh, farscape reference. Frell is now an official star wars swear word, it will take some time before it becomes as natural as kriff though.
There's also Battlestar Galactica's "frak" in the Black Fleet Crisis trilogy of Legends continuity novels. But yeah, you're right on "kriff", and it's a shame otherwise good Disney Alt-universe stuff like Andor is just using fouler sounding real life Earth expletives.
In the height of the shaky cam film era, this game took it to the absurd peak of shaky cam so much that it was more powerful than the controller stick.
They need to make a Ghost Recon type squad of Republic Clone Troopers unit and have it followed throughout the wars, and them not joining the empire and still surviving and helping the rebels.
Tbh most enemies in this game are ridiculously powerful and annoying. The Trandoshans with slugthrowers and Geonosian warrior actually can one shot you, same as the Trandoshan brute and Geonosian Geonosian laser user who melts your shield like butter. The SBDs, Destroyers and Spider droids are just bullet sponges. Along with their annoying dispensers. The magnaguards for me are both powerful and annoying, attacks can melt your shield easy and it takes alot of shooting to kill one.

Deltas, I think I just found out what happened to 62. Some kind of scavenger droid. Keep your eyes out for static. Fixer, keep scanning for 62. Years ago when I replayed this game after I got it for PS4 the opening part of this campaign made me think of Dead Space. I've obviously played a lot of different types of games with some being much more hardcore ever since I first played this thing on launch when I was 11.
I'm absolutely enjoying your walkthrough. Professional, meticulous, well thought-out, and executed beautifully. You just earned yourself another subscriber. Will you also be doing Star Wars: Empire at War?

worth the wait
it's cool dude just glad you're still uploading
*nods in reappreciation*
"You lizards need to learn I'm a lot scarier than you are." easily one of the best lines of this game.

Scary for the commandos for now. Scary for the trandos in the next level.
same, and the lizards were so brutal, remember the shotgun shot to the face a clone took
And the best part: no fudging Death Trooper zombie nonsense just because.
There's something just so creepy and eerie seeing how empty a fully staffed ship is. Finding only remnants of clones squads and in some cases just their remains.
It really does leave you to wonder what must've been going down before you learn what happened later on.
Man the amount of OT trilogy soundtracks used in the level was awesome.
Oh, it still *is.*
Excellent start to the second campaign. You showed who is the shotgun master.
Kinda looked like Doom Eternal when he started using the shotgun.
Will hope SM will do the same as the Clone Engineer in Battlefront II 2005's Operation Knightfall mission.
Quite enjoyed that horror aspect of this mission although 38s confidence sets him apart from the average commando
Well someone has to show those stupid lizards they aren’t the scariest thing on that ship.

Spooky episode. I don't think the simulators covered this one.
Will expect the Kaminoan cloners, the commando instructor Kal Skirata, and some ARC Troopers to compensate after this is all done.

I love the survival horror feeling this level has.
Sure beats the gung-ho Resident Evil remakes post RE1, even.

Men like them should have at least lasted far more longer even against the lizards.

Truly lives up to the “ghost ship” level name.
They need to make a Ghost Recon type squad of Republic Clone Troopers unit and have it followed throughout the wars, and them not joining the empire and still surviving and helping the rebels.
That clone sounded really nervous...poor guy
I remember when I first played this level on the PC when I was 11 during its release. It legitimately gave me chills and I love it!
Such were the days.
Those Lizard 🦎 like bounty hunter mercenaries are a tough opponent for the average phase 1 clone trooper, which is very dangerous in large numbers.
Small wonder why the Trandoshans are the sworn enemies of the Wookiees, which will be important later in this game.
I've always felt that the atmosphere here is similar to the level 343 Guilty Spark from Halo:CE. It's like poetry, it's sort of, they rhyme.
At least there's no flying orb treachery here.
@@michaelandreipalon359 No just annoying static Droids that want to drill your head in.

Geonosians that's what those bugs are called. Also those drill droids are called scavenger droids

All Fallen Clones, Rest in Peace.
You kill them so fast the music has a hard time keeping up. Nice episode as always Star Marshal.
If only iMuse was still active for these LucasArts games.
Nice stuff. Playing the game well and not taking it so fast so you can admire the atmosphere.
Of course. It has a lot of great moments that would’ve been hard to appreciate if I were to speed by.
Helps that taking it slow helps in not bumping into the onrushing enemy.
