I have quite recently discovered My Fabrics and placed 3 orders with them. The first and second orders took 16 days to get to me and I'm still waiting for the 3rd one. I was not impressed with having to wait so long but it may have happened because of the covid-19 crisis. What I was impressed with is the superb quality of the fabrics. My first order was for trousers weight pure wool fabric which is the kind of quality you would get at a traditional tailor. My second and third orders are for sweatshirt fabrics and again the quality is amazing. The fabrics are very soft on the right and wrong sides and in fact the wrong side is really plush, almost a short furry look. In spite of the long delivery times I'd definitely buy from them again.
Yes they're based in Germany, so the postal systems were probably delayed due to the pandemic. I always love their quality though and glad you agree it's worth the wait. x
If your looking for a huge range, I would recommend spoonflower, which also allows you to design your own fabric by the metre. AliExpress if you spend a while searching is the best for fat quarter bundles of polycottons, you can order a few and they will come as a bundle of 1m X 150cm, Ebay also does this. The advantage with Ebay being that if it is not quite what you are looking for...you can return it. AliExpress is in China so you are stuck with it.
You mentioned that Minverva sells every fabric you could think of. I've been looking on their site for ribbing, but cannot find it. I want to order a few other things, but want to order ribbing from the same place, so this is stopping me from placing an order. Do you know if they sell tubular ribbing for cuff bands etc? Thank you.
Wonderful sounding online fabric buying suggestions. I'm in U.S. so will have to look for currency exchange, shipping rates on each of them. Thank you!
I really want to!!! Just struggling on time, for both me and videos. Managed to squeeze in blog makes, and I'll show you things soon. But not sure I'l have time for gift ideas. I have a couple from last years videos though if that helps. :) x
I really love fabrics. I found somewhere new. i was so upset when i learnt that place is not located in UK. I want to tell you guys if you get some fabrics from @neslishine or @pastelahomecafe I want to get that fabrics. Please let me know if you have neslishine's fabics.
I’m looking to buy some, I want long roll of fabric - how long do like these rolls last? I’m thinking of making scrunchies at the moment just getting started. If anyone could recommend some :) x
Hi Kate, well it depends on how much fabric is on the roll and what you're making. If you're only making scrunchies, a 12m roll at 114cm wide will last you a long, long time. x
That was a really fun vlog. I will check them out and hope they ship internationally at a reasonable rate. And you look just wonderful in orange. You need lots of orange in your wardrobe. I am coming to the UK in spring to holiday and fabric shop. Are you interested in meeting for tea and a chat?
I had a bad experience with Minerva crafts when a parcel I had ordered wasn't delivered. I found their customer service poor thy would only provide recorded delivery if I paid for it and the accusation that I would be put on a database if there was any reoccurring delivery problems to my postcode was very off putting. I have received countless parcels from various different organisations and on the very rare occasion these parcels and lost in the post a replacement is sent no questions asked. I do however like their website and their products and don't want this experience to put me off in the future.

Thanks for the great suggestions. I'm in the US but love that you mentioned some local retailers with online shops. I will check them out!
Teresa Randall Thanks for watching! I'm sure at least a couple of them would do international shipping. Good luck with your fabric shopping! 😊
I was thinking like 'oh I won't be able to get this stuff shipped to America' but the shipping is surprisingly cheap? I'm so glad ;v;
Yey! So glad. Happy shopping! :) x

Súper random but where would you advise getting a red check/ tartan fabric?

What is the T pattern you used for the orange T your wearing? "Taylor Burns ------ Tee?"
It's the Agnes tee by Tilly and the Buttons. :) x
Thank you!
You're welcome! x
So helpful!! By the way, what camera are you using?
Thank you. In this I think I'm using my Panasonic GH4? X

Thanks for sharing. They are gorgeous fabrics. A lot of them are very similar to the Tilda Fabrics range which are easy to get hold of in the UK? x
When I click on the Minerva link it brings up an ‘unsafe’ message
Sorry Lynn - they've updated their website since. Here's the correct link: www.minerva.com/
Thanks a million! 😍😍😍😍
Really useful, thank you. Are you making a Christmas party outfit?
Faydiva Of course! I'll do a vlog on that don't worry! 😊
Thanks
You're welcome 🧡

Karen Minet Thanks so much! Oh wow amazing! What part of the UK are you visiting? 😊
London then train to Edinburgh and dublin ( or ?). Where are you?
Karen Minet oh wow! What an amazing trip. I'm in the southwest of England so quite far away. But keep me up dated nearer the time! 😊
Which one is cheaper for satin?
Sorry no idea, you'll have to have a look. x
@@Jessalli Oh ok, thanks for replying 🙂
Jessallets?!
Haha Love that! Thanks so much! :D
Which one is cheaper?
Always depends on the type of fabric you're ordering. All are pretty reasonable. x

Oh what a shame. I order from them a lot with no problems at all. Don't let it put you off as their ranges are great! :)
