lol Connor doesn’t care for story in video games and yet can’t be bothered to play DOOM, Soulsborne games, most RTS games, and older games where story is just an excuse to get to the next level.
When the writing doesn't appeal to you, there shouldn't be anything wrong with skipping. Either I'm going to stop playing the game because I don't like the story, or I'm going to skip the parts I don't like and appreciate the parts of the game I do. Engaging with game mechanics and engaging with story are also two very different things and a lot of people don't like switching back and forth. Also, sometimes people aren't able to switch back and forth as seamlessly as others. To be able to sit down and engage with a set of game mechanics without interruptions is not an invalid desire or need. There's also the issue with quality of writing/directing/acting in games, but I'd rather not argue that here as it's probably the most argued AND it is currently seeing huge improvements.

I clicked on this video not even knowing who ProZD is cause I just enjoy listening to the boys no matter who their guest is but then I hear this guy voiced FL4K. I played a crap ton of Borderlands 3 with FL4K. ProZD - you're probably not gonna see this but you did a fantastic job with this character.
This is probably the best of the LA episodes so far. I really liked the discussions all of them had. It was also nice to see some different opinions from the boys and just ProZD shitting on them. This episode has a lot of rewatchablity in my opinion. Great job guys! can't wait for the next.

You can compare him to Anthony who clearly behaves like he had camera&production team well in mind, while ProZD just don’t give a fuck. I don’t mean they are faking it, but you have to know that there are cameras rolling and a production team(even though its probably just Meilyn and one other person) behind the scenes. ProZD is such a lovable guy, it wouldn't surprise me if 100% of the Trash Taste fandom had already been following him for years. Happy to see the FF9 shout out, top of the franchise.
I relate to what ProZD said at 1:27:00 so much. I used to drop stuff sooo quick when I was a teenager and in my early twenties and now I watch everything I can. I think I just got tired of dropping stuff and having this mentality that nothing was worth the time to watch. Like Garnt said, as a kid I would watch anything... and those were the days, right? So why not do it again? It's not like not watching anime is more fun.

ProZD's rule of watching the cutscenes at least on the first time is basically the same with me when it comes to openings and endings. I listen to them at least one, unless they are absolutely bops, and then skip them on the rest of the times. That being said, I have a friend who just skips them in general

I had no idea he voiced a character in God of War: Ragnarok! So cool. Awesome that he got to write lines, name the character, mocap. Wild. It's actually super clever to let actors write for their own character (if they are good at writing). That way the characters feel more real and individualized and unique.
I wish they had ProZD do his Peter Pan recitation on trash taste to truly show the world that he can recall any scene from that movie just from hearing it

I relate to what ProZD said at 1:27:00 so much. I used to drop stuff sooo quick when I was a teenager and in my early twenties and now I watch everything I can. I think I just got tired of dropping stuff and having this mentality that nothing was worth the time to watch. Like Garnt said, as a kid I would watch anything... and those were the days, right? So why not do it again? It's not like not watching anime is more fun.

ProZD's rule of watching the cutscenes at least on the first time is basically the same with me when it comes to openings and endings. I listen to them at least one, unless they are absolutely bops, and then skip them on the rest of the times. That being said, I have a friend who just skips them in general

I had no idea he voiced a character in God of War: Ragnarok! So cool. Awesome that he got to write lines, name the character, mocap. Wild. It's actually super clever to let actors write for their own character (if they are good at writing). That way the characters feel more real and individualized and unique.
