    So they key to managing low porosity hair is to add your products with warm water. Your hair takes a lot to retain moisture so this will certainly help. Sometimes heavy creams are not the answer as they may just sit on top of the hair. Make sure the products you're using melts into your hair. It doesnt have to be these products specifically but you need to figure out what your hair likes. If you say nothing YOU LYIN and your technique is bad. Practice your technique guyssss bc the products are good and all but you need to get the hang of it and try new things/methods. Ok thats all I got today ill talk to you babes lata!! Love youuuuu

      Kimberly Cherrell your tips on application of products on low porosity hair are on point! I've noticed a difference in my hair retaining moisture once I started applying my leave-in the shower immediately after running it under warm water per section. P.S. your hair looks bomb! 💣💥

      I LOVE Kinky Curly Knot Today and Curling Custard...BUT, ya girl ain't bout that expensive product life 😂
      So, I haven't bought any in like a year. These companies need to start making these good products in BULK!!! That way ppl like me won't feel bad about spending that money because it will last longer than 2 applications (3 if I'm using it extremely sparingly)!

      You are right. I'm low porosity, and I got a cream of nature cream, and it smelled soo good. Unfortunately, it just sat on top of my hair, and it felt like a greasy mess all week til I washed it out. I'd always heard I needed thick creams for my hair, but apparently, my hair was not having it.

      So... first off I would like to start off by saying thank you for your videos on low porosity they have been very helpful as I figured out that's what my hair type was now and my next question in please don't laugh at me y'all is when you're in the shower are you rinsing the leave-in conditioners out after you put it in or are you just applying it under the running hot water so that it will absorb into the hair shaft?

    • @dominique4432
      @dominique4432 5 років тому +2

      @@1AndOnlyPandisHairCandimore206 Applying it under warm to hot water so it will absorb. Not rinsing it out. It's a leave in.

  • @M3l155a

    For real, this staying in the shower method truly works! I used to apply my deep conditioner outside of the shower and it would take forever to run in but I tried in the shower and it goes on so easily and melts right in. I apply my leave-in inside too for maximum absorption and now my wash day turned into wash morning

I though my hair was just wack! Had no idea I was just using the wrong products. Anyway, I wanted to try the wash n go method, but most of the videos I’ve watched assumed that I knew too much. I wanna thank you for showing every step of your process!! I have been trying to figure out when to use the gel. When it’s wet? When it’s dry.. yet moisturized? That may sound crazy to those used to doing this, but I am THAT green to the process! So again, thank you!!

I honestly thought I would have to repeat your method for a few weeks or months before seeing results. I’m so happy I found your channel!! I will be looking through the rest of your videos and trying out your suggestions until I develop a full routine that gives my hair the best results. I swear I can’t thank you enough!! • @dominique4432
      @dominique4432 5 років тому

      It has silicones in it. Just wash it out with a sulphate shampoo at least once a month. Or every two weeks. Don't even remember why ppl say to stop using them now. I get that using sulphate shampoos can be drying but you have some really great moisturizing deep conditioners now so it really shouldn't be an issue

    Your hair looks like a wig. It is absolutely beautiful! How often do you moisturize your hair? I have low porosity hair also. Love your videos and your SC.

    Are you supposed to run water after you apply the gel to? A little confused on that part. So should it be...
    Leave in
    Water
    Butter
    Water
    Gel
    Water?

    Hi Kimberly,
    Is it true that you need an oil to seal everything in? How it that your wash n go doesn’t get dry like mine and you didn’t use oil 😭

    I can't finger detangle my hair to thick to do that and my hair has more breakage I use a comb

    I m so nervous to only finger detangle. I feel like I need to use my detangling or denman brush to get all the tangles. 😬

    I know this video is old on your channel but what does using warm water on low porosity hair do differently from cold water? I have low porosity as well so I'm curious😂
