It is actually designed and packaged real neat! But all those IO ports on the right side would bother my right hand mouse. Edit: Unless it's meant to be placed on the left side of a monitor with a stand or something
That is pretty odd, but when I checked the link, the official listing for this laptop on the company's product page does say HDMI 1.4. I'm guessing because it's not a gaming laptop, they decided to put a cheaper port in it because it's not going to be driving HDMI 2.1 specs with the hardware in this "thin and light"

It was just so unpleasant as a daily driver, and despite the fairly OK CPU and GPU it stuttered in games even at settings adapted to the hardware.
I actually strongly disagree with Alex's take on the crooked M.2 slots being so bad. What Asus did makes a ton of sense. They literally maximized internal space management by mounting the main M.2 slot the way they did. There are no packaging conflicts with the typical M.2 SSD size, it takes up an area that would be normally left empty, and there is more space on the main PCB for components and proper tracing. Also, it's not like laptop motherboards have a standard. This doesn't impact repairability at all. It's a smart use of space. It is a sign of good thought being put into a product.
Can someone explain the record display behind Alex? Is it a record player? I am getting to the point where I dont want to use my Mickey Mouse Disco record player from the early 80's no more.
I wish the LABS team did more tests, like verifying the dc dimming feature for the claim that it eliminates PWM flickering, color accuracy on different brightness levels, etc.
When you test the speakers, why dont you put it on the table without the deskpad? Everytime you did this it the laptop sounded way better. So why don't you do it all the time? Its not representative of the actual performance and the speaker quality can be a reason not to buy a laptop
