Edison Motors hat is awesome, love that they're from BC too!
Well it’s better than the panerai collab
Some Asus laptops with the MiniLED are like this too. I still like MiniLED for laptops because they get so bright, but you usually want to enable "uniform backlight mode" or whatever when you're doing desktop stuff to avoid the local dimming doing wacky things. I don't know if the Razer has that.
i was thinking maybe profile was in batery saver mode or something like that , 5k $ for laptop with a crappy display should be illegal lol
@@BlackLixtmacbooks cost more & have worse displays. You should get a Lenovo or Asus for half the price and they'd have better build quality.
I love that we have to pretend a 16in laptop having “full Io” is like some crazy thing.
I have a 10.1 in gdp win max 2 and it has 3 usb A, 2 usbc C thinderbolt, macro and micro as card readers, hdmi out and mini display port out. All in a 10 in form factor. No 16in laptop has any excuse for less.
how do you mess up a display this bad wow
are LTT using different microphones, i can hear the reverberation of the room, the mic in the laptop actually sounds clearer than the mic in the room.
I really like the way Razer laptop chassis look, and then hate everything else about them.
Same. If only they put as much effort into quality control and longevity as they do in their marketing and branding, they would be a solid choice.
AGREED
Looks like a upside down Lenovo Legion Y logo for their gaming stuff. The Asus VX7 colab from from 2011 was way more impressive
As I was listening to this review I thought its performance wasn't "that bad" because I assumed it was in the $1500-$2000 range. Based on that imaginary price I was gonna give it like a B- given its weird performance but also taking into account how upgradeable it is. Then I heard the price and I did a double-take. WTF Razor?! Get your shit together. D+.
Truly the Lamborghini experience
LOVE THE EDISON MOTORS HAT!
Razer is doing all these weird branded collabs-why😩theyre just placing brand logos on their products
what happened to razer? i thought the razer blade had gotten good and now they take a step backwards?
no it only got mediocre. my blade14 has given me battery issues since day one
Isn't this looking exactly like an MSI laptop? 🤣
Oh gawd! You're right! lol
i was looking for exactly this. most reviews focus on showing fancy looking videos and gameplay to showcase the miniLED but i just wanted to see normal desktop use. thanks!
I bought the regular 2023 razer blade16 for my next laptop when it came out. I think screen is better than what he showcases but again I am more of an average consumer so didnt really notice or care as much. rest of the laptop is great. 5k is never worth it for a collab when the regular is 2k and even then I thought I was pushing it my purchase
I'm pretty sure for this model, without the Lambo collab it's more 4k normally, so not as much of a premium
@@RadaSmada yeah the Lambo edition uses all the high end components. Makes sense. I couldn't bring myself to do that :)
Did you get the QHD screen? That's probably why. Only the 4k mini-LED dual display has that problem.
It collects fingerprints so they sell more racing gloves.
Top Gear mentioned that these (those) days, Lambo makes he crazy, flamboyant, style stuff and Audi does the boring stuff like making sure that thing actually works as a car too and the doors don't fall off.
Not sure about Audis track record with laptops though.
I love the Edison Motors hat. Love that truck.
I don't know why you're surprised. You should know by now that car manufacturers love materials that track fingerprints >:)
I've had an experience of owning Razer blade 15 laptop for last 2 years and 4 months. Here's how it went
1. Within 7-8 months of purchase the L key stopped working
2. Within 1year and 5-8 months, I gradually started realizing that for some reason, my laptop is deforming! I was wondering why!!
3. Just last week, I saw that a part of the back-pane of my laptop is wide open and battery is swollen, pressurizing the back-pane.
I bought the laptop listening to these "UA-cam influencers".

All the reliability of Italian sportcars and razer laptops combined?
It comes shattered in pieces from the factory?)
Crazy how something so expensive and unique can totally suck!
no touchscreen is usually the price you pay for a non mirrory display and i'm very, VERY happy to pay it for that. What use is a "fantastic OLED black" if all you can see is yourself?
but did he get exited about 2 SSD slots? or did i miss something? 2 is the minimum i expect in a big laptop.
Glossy is better when it comes to 4k especially with such a high pixel density. Colors will also look better.
@@retrofizz727exactly, got my Razer blade OLED from 2021 and it’s so damn beautiful with the glossy display. Wouldn’t want to go back to matte.
So, it's either this laptop, or an actual car.
So far, my $5,000 car has held up really well, and my oldest computer is four years old (which wasn't even half of either ones). I think I'll stick to my $5,000 car.
Nice edison motors hat. Was potentially thinking of one myself. Cool company. Hope they do well.
the 720p video playback test with just over 5 hrs seems like a forced talking point from the vendor cuz i will never watch youtube at less than 1080p and i think many people will agree
I even watch at 360p :D AV01 doing its wonders :).
they put a 4k display on this thing and base their battery life on 720p video playback ? daufq
If you're going to to have a colab with a sports car company why the regular black paint job of the regular razor? It should have been a carbon fiber design just like what MSI colabs are with McLaren.
Nice Edison Motors hat, love those guys!
If you guys won't have a use for that laptop, I would take it. Nice present :D
9:06 phrasing!
11:41 he looks like a robot trying to express emotion😭
Are razor laptops worth it? Or are apple laptops just a better bang for your buck if you don’t game on the go? For me I’d prefer an Apple tablet instead if I want a computer for on-the-go.
If you dont game obviously choose macbook lol.
I would never buy a Razer laptop they are overpriced junk. If you want to play games or high intensive work get a Lenovo legion or ASUS strix laptop. Apple laptops are nice if you want to do productivity stuff like word docs or browsing
Apple tablet? You mean an iPad? 😂
Can't speak on the other laptops, but I have this laptop in the Mercury edition and it's a piece of shit on the eyes. The trackpad sucks ass too .
During the lab test battery results it says it was tested at 4k 60Hz (13:03 of video), but earlier in the video you called out 4k being 120Hz (3:58 of the video), and at 13:25 you have it back at 120Hz.
0:15 I would suggest LAPOGIHINI....!!!😂🤣
So, this laptop will live in Limp Mode most of the time you have it?
Loving the Edison Motors hat!!
I like that Edison Motors hat Alex, will there be a colab at some point?
Love seeing the support of @EdisonMotors
My wife had a Lambo laptop (Think it was Acer)
Had no power whatsoever but it did rev up like a Lambo when you started it,
When you are asked to design a high-profile marketing, elite device and you are constantly having to clean up caviar messes as you engrave "Let them eat cake" on the cover.
Taking a shot each time alex says "quite"
how is this laptop compared to the MSI collabing Mecedes? I think these two are basically the same.
it's a lambo -- you gotta get it PPF'd right after you drive it off the lot, to protect the paint/ finger smudges
They missed out on the opportunity to have etch a number on the frame of the laptop somewhere, to show which unit number out of 150 is yours.
OMG what happened to the screen in 4k?
