Is there any chance you can upload a how to on how to chose what grade bearings you need relative to journal measurements??? .... In metric ??? Many thanks !!!!
What could be the problem with my car?it sometimes looses power and after a while it picks up again.could it be timing or what?the air pipes on top of the engine shrinks upon starting the engine.it's a Nissan sr18 engine.
If you still have a hydraulic tensioner and you spin on counter clock wise with the engine apart your likely to jump timing because there is no oil pressure holding the tensioner tight.
@@ryandragunas6798 Per the Nissan Factory Service Manual for s14 sr20det (will be same process as s13 SR), when you install the OEM style tensioner, "if hook does not release automatically, turn crankshaft counter clockwise until it does release."
Hey, I know this video is fairly old but I do have a legit question. After you installed your tensioner, I noticed when you turned the crank that the was loose spots in better your gears. I have the same issue right now, but now I'm just curious if it's even an issue. Let me know, loved the video, thank you.
hey man! when u want to change only the oil tubes for the cams is there any specific thing to keep it in mind or is it ok to undo the holding bolts and retightened them with the specific torque? thx in advance.
HOWDY! Thanks for the video, I sat through the whole thing and appreciate you sharing it with us!

Hey I found my way here from lone star drift. Can't wait to see this beast complete.
Hi what torque setting for the cam again?
you actually turn the crank counter clockwise to release the hook off the pin
