GAME: Persona 3 Reload
AUTHOR: Atlus
As with the original Persona 3, the protagonist is a high school student returning to his home city a decade after his parents were killed in a fatal car crash. He soon gains the potential to summon a Persona-the physical manifestation of his inner spirit, and joins the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (S.E.E.S.), a group of like-minded Persona users. Together, they are tasked with defeating Shadows and uncovering the mystery of the Dark Hour.

Before this episode: Yeah, I didn't really care about Bebe.
After this episode: Why the fuck didn't I care about Bebe?!
Bebe is love, Bebe is life.
Insert "Danny Devito Finally getting it" Meme here!
I can't tell if that's a joke or not.
Because of Bebe's Kids
Around 16:40 or sometime after that, I can tell there's some audio issues still. The game audio is a little lower than the mic for some reason
A very sad fact about Bebe is WHY he is a missable Social Link. If you get through the third Full Moon without starting it, he permanently disappears, leaving behind a note that says "You never came. Sorry, I am gone now.". And just by starting it, you immediately know why that is.
Awww, that's so sad...
Sounds like something you'll see in a bad ending.
Is that third full moon the next full moon, or the moon after it?
Oh my god, those two lines are *horrifying*.
@@ekimmak Good question, it just says third full moon in the wiki. I’m guessing it’s the one after the next.
From stream:
Nico: So wait, could you date other people outside your party members as the FeMC?
Chat: You can date Bebe.
Nico: You can date Bebe? I thought he was gay.
Chat: Nico, he’s European, not gay.
I saw this and IMMEDIATELY imagined the whole thing
He's gay AND European!
@@TheHeroOfTomorrowTHERE RIGHT THERE,
? You can't date him though. Him and Hidetoshi fall in love with FeMC but you don't have an option to date them.
I love that song from Legally Blonde and there is a Yusuke one for this song haha
In the female route of P3P, the goofy sign off for Bebe is “Aishitemasu” (I love you). If you choose this option as his sign off, Bebe at the end will reveal that he knew what it meant and he was serious every time he said it. This is the “romance” people mentioned on a stream a while back. It’s not a serious romantic SL for FeMC
Well just from that description it absolutely should have been.
I got into Portable for the femc route and chose that option cuz he was one of my top favorites after finishing Reload. I did not at all mean it that way tho 😭
Bebe: Why are you laughing?
Nico: Nothing.
Nico's brain: *BEBEBEBEBEBEBEBE YEAAAAAHHHH* (mass destruction noises)
Ikutsuki: "I'd like you to use these planters however you see fit."
Bizzle: "Weed."
What WOULD weed do for a Persona user? Increase SP? DECREASE SP?
@@leoryff979 Sativa would give you an SP decrease but also buff you with increased AGI. Indica would give an SP increase but debuff you with decreased AGI.

@@deathcon6261 Oh, that's not what I was referencing.
So fun fact, in the original game, when Bebe asks what the proper way to say goodbye is, the 4th option was actually Hasta la Vista. Meaning every time you finished hanging out with him, it'd be time to say, "Hasta la Vista, Bebe".
God damn you
…they absolutely did that on purpose
... He'll be back. [ *Slowly Sinking Thumbs Up.* ] >)B^]
In the original you teach Bebe to say “Hasta la vista” instead of “I’ll be back”.
Aw. That stinks. I guess Atlus/SEGA don't want to get sued by James Cameron or Viacom which owns Paramount Pictures
And fun fact: In the Japanese version here, he also says "I'll be back" in engrish, minus the deep voice.
@@multilad816Saying "hasta la vista" isn't eligible to be sued. It's a Spanish phrase. Much like how they said "I'll be back" here in English with no problems. Neither of those invoke the Terminator IP rights.
@@loganbigmoI only think about that group in Camp Rock.
@@boo435 not gonna lie I thought of that too when I saw "hasta la vista" in the original comment lmao. "Hasta la vista, I'mma gonna say goodbye to you" 🎶
It’s a good thing these social links are fully voice acted, otherwise Nico would have to whip out the French accent.
I still get flashbacks to Ace Attorney *shudders*
Well, he will have to for the hangout scenes because those are non-voiced😅
Bizzle-kun: "I've only known Bebe for a day and a half. But if anything happened to him, I'd kill everyone in this room and then myself."
"Bizzle-kun, the envoker doesn't have any bullets though."
"BUT, I do have a sword."
Nico: "I wonder why I like Bebe so much now"
Thats because you realize you're a weeb now, in 2 years you'll be learning japanese just like Bebe, and 3 years after that you'll start doing your videos entirely in japanese
Edit: Its a shame you didnt interact with stuff too much as NPCs have pretty fun dialogue that changes throughout the course of the game, and you missed out on a golden moment where if you check on junpeis room on the day the scores got released, you can hear him crying his heart out in there.
Another note, instead of turning down the bgm when facing a floor guardian boss because Master of Tartarus likes to get claimed, you could just adjust it to other dlc songs from the options. The only options in your game right now is P5R songs, but you should have access to a code or something that can be redeemed for P4G songs if you pre ordered the game. Just remember to change the setting again after beating the boss, because the setting overrides *all* battle songs, so I accidentally walked into a full moon boss once with a custom song on.
THE STAINS GATE IS REAL!
Great job you folks that got the reference.
That honestly is heartbreaking. He plays it off and goofs off but he cares a lot.

@@pn2294No, the person Maiko calls "Stripey". (Or, if you're playing FES, "Striped Shirt".)
Bebe is often overlooked when people talk about social links in Persona 3, probably because his French accent and him being a massive weeb made his dialogue cringy to a lot of people, but playing through Reload myself made me see he's a really charming character and- let's be real here- a lot of us would act the same Bebe does if we were ever in Japan. Also his VA in this game is doing a fantastic job, further adding to his charm. In this house, we love Bebe.
I have no problem hanging out Bebe in OG I have a blast voicing him myself & fell love him.
Now in Reload his VA is have alot of charm & I loving it.
I honestly loved his French accent and the fact he's a weeb!
Still upset I can't romance him on the femc route.
The correct term for people like Bebe is "Japanophile" which is used for people who are fans of Japanese culture specifically. Weeb/Weaboo is for people who are fans of anime/manga culture (aka "western otaku").
For me, I actually like characters who are on roots, typically in anime some ninja or samurai characters speak old japanese, From Kaede from Negima, Shinobu from Enstars, I guess its their charm
I am very curious about JP fans thoughts on social links. Cuz sometimes its interesting to see their perspective on these characters.
Like in the P5 confidant ranking, The politician isnt high on western side but in japan he's at rank 3
As someone who speaks and understands French, his VA in this game is not that great at the French pronunciation. The most egregious one is where the VA mispronounces Bebe's actual name. He says Geroux instead of Geraux.
Mitsuru: Why did you guys take so long in Tartarus?
Nico: We were fighting Shadows as usual and suddenly, Sephiroth showed up talking about going to see his mother. He knocked us all out and that’s why FF7 Rebirth got another episode first.
Mitsuru: Are you sure that’s why you were late and not just wanting to play more Rebirth?
Nico: Yep, definitely.
Meanwhile...
Sephiroth: Out of my way. I'm going to see my mother.
Makoto: Um, sure, not gonna stop ya. But what are you doing here, Sephiroth? This is Paulownia Mall.
Sephiroth: I was going shopping. Do you think I'd just manifest flowers and a box of chocolates on call?
Makoto: To be honest... yeah, I kinda did.
Sephiroth: Sorry to disappoint you. My magic is the natural antithesis to flowers.
Makoto: Uh-huh. Anyway, if you actually wanted to buy that stuff, there's this guy on the TV who sells cool stuff on the weekends, like deluxe Mother's Day gifts at a discount.
Sephiroth: What? Why didn't anyone tell me this? I just spent hundreds on these! That flower lady duped me! Someone's gonna get stabbed tonight.
Makoto: Oof. Welp. Maybe I can ask that old guy at the coffee shop. Heard he got some ideas about "great vegetables"...
"I bet it gave me like a massive boost (of Charm)"
Nah Nico, it's because Charm is the stat that takes the least amount of points to level up. I swear, if you just keep answering all the questions in class correctly, it pretty much goes up by itself.
Courage and Charm are tied for the amount of points they require in the original. Though in portable they lowered how much points Courage needed, and increased how much Charm needed. I assume in Reload they've made them equal again. But I do feel like Charm levels up quicker as I swear we got more Charm boosting moments in class compared to the Knowledge/Courage (depending on your choice) moments. I maxed out my Charm the day after the July Full Moon mission from a class question.
Having a teammate go ahead of you will give you a random assortment of the things you can get on those oranges pillars plus some money, plus a part of the floor already revealed.
Being one man down doesn't matter as much because you can always just select go to the next floor, and they will join you at the start of it.
It's mostly a timesaver, but you do get a few extra items (even if you scour the whole floor). You get a lot more items from them if you don't scour the floor yourself, though.
Makoto: Guess I have to start gardeni-
Dojima: *GREAT VEGETABLES*
Makoto: Why are you here?
Dojima: I’ll always be there to support great vegetable planting
Temperance in Persona 5: Your teacher/maid who's overworked to hell and back and one of the fan favorites from the game
Temperance in Persona 4: A step-mom who struggles to get along with her son
Temperance in Persona 3: BEBE
How odd that he's the only guy in the temperance arcana, but seeing his social link progress and his struggles, I can see why he's temperance.
Don't be afraid to send someone to scout, because you will get them back on the very next floor, the only reason why you shouldn't send them is if there's a rare shadow on the current floor.
Also this mechanic is the replacement of scouting in the original, where you would split your party up to find items, the stairs and the teleporter on the current floor, with the risk they would end up fighting shadows on their own.
What a random assortment your username and pfp is
Kenji sounds like a douche to Nico, but little does he know that Kenji is voiced by everyone’s favorite Golden Deer leader Claude von Riegan himself.
Oh, you have ruined my day, and perhaps my whole week with that revelation 😢

Kenji is Claude’s reincarnation. Modern times but he still lusts for his Teach.

There is a super easy strategy for the Relic bossfight (the statue)
After it analyzed your weaknesses it will always attack the weaknesses in the following order
Yukari -> Akihiko -> Junpei.
So just have the right person guard in the right turn and let Yukari heal in between and that boss is joke.
Also for the Sunday hangouts, there is an indicator, but only if you need the hangout.
If you wouldn´t be able to level up on the next regular day it will say something along the lines of "This could be a good opportunity to get closer"
I found an easier way to kill it. Poison. 200~ damage per turn while everyone else guards. Inugami naturally has poison, and if it's having a hard time applying poison, the persona also has Foul Breath to make the chances higher (I personally didn't need it). Poison doesn't wear off, so the boss will soon go down to 1 HP for someone to hit it with a normal attack.
I'll be honest: the only reason I like Kenji's SL is because I like watching the slow-motion train crash that is his... "relationship".
Nico meets Bebe.
Bebe speaks french.
Nico internally: “thank god they’re all voiced”
Edogawa’s lectures are pretty long and can get tiresome, but I find him to be the most interesting teacher in Gekkoukan. He later teaches you about the history of magic and then eventually the Tarot arcanas and how Tarot reading works. This series loves its Tarots but it doesn’t really teach you what each arcana represents. So it’s nice to see a character explain it and clear up some misunderstanding of some of the arcanas like Lovers and Death.
Also helps put into perspective what the devs were going for with each links storyline, and is why I kinda like Kenji and the Moon links story
@@jadendobson9614 Nozomi is proof that having a character match their arcana meaning doesn’t automatically make it a good social link. That’s just my opinion
@@gandhitheholeresizer8329 meh, I personally enjoyed his social link even without the arcana implications
@@jadendobson9614 there are so many other better ones that I’m honestly baffled you could have that opinion, but I respect your right to have it
@@gandhitheholeresizer8329 I sincerely love all the social links in p3. All of them have been either a situation I've gone through, a friend I've known has gone through(Kenji), or a state of mind I've had.
For Nozomi, I enjoy how through most of his social link you see how much he misses his brother, as well as how their relationship might've deteriorated from your interactions. Also, through the young boy's father, you see what should've happened when Nozomi was approached by the cult when his brother died, and how his support systems as a child had failed him in his most vulnerable moments.
23:07 Even outside of P5, he still calls her “Lady Ann”
Morgana’s simp energy corrupted him entirely 😅
I noticed that in the Strikers LP. He'd almost always say "Lady Ann" lmao
@@loganbigmo"In this house, we respect Ann Takamaki. Therefore, she shall be addressed as the lady that she is!" - Nico, probably
The costumes were originally part of the armor that gives party members effects like health and sp. Of course there are unique dialogues that you can talk to your party members and they have the funny ones that they would react by having them or yourself wearing one.
The second best Frenchman, the first being polnareff
Nico may not realize that once Kenji Social Link is done, we unlock the SUPER MAGICIAN social link, where we have to hang with Kenji 20 more times, or else we get the bad ending, where Kenji becomes a God and takes over the world with his horny powers.
Did anyone else expect to see the vague silhouette of Bebe in this episode’s “And now back to?”
Yeah in the Japanese, Bebe talks in the typical style you'd hear from historical samurai drama's - words like onushi [おぬし] for "you", and sessha [拙者] to refer to himself. Funnily enough, he rarely says the Japanese words he explains to you in the English localisation. Originally from seeing that localisation I assumed he would be doing the opposite in Japanese - teaching you English or French, but that's not the case. I really like the localisation team's decision to do it this way though (the original one, as he did this in original P3 as well).
Bebe is genuinely one of my favorite social link ever!
The gardening is a new thing in this game. In the og p3 you couldn't go onto the roof(it was always locked)
Also, you won't be able to start the striped guy's social link until your intelligence is at least smart, and you have to wait until you get a certain party member that has an item you give him to start the link.
At least that's how it was in the og, i'm not sure if they changed it here, though i'm assuming not, since you still have to do the same events to start social links like the og in this game.(Maiko, Chihiro, Bebe)
For Akinari is the same steps, enough Academics and the specific item. The good thing this time around is that, since time doesn't pass going back to the dorm during daytime, you can start the SL that same day.
Fun fact, in the OG P3, if you don’t start Bebe’s Social Link by the 3rd Full Moon, he is locked off for the rest of the game. The sign in front of the door will change to "You never came so I'm gone".
It’s the same here which is why the comments told him to focus on the old couple.
Junpei: Wait Akihiko, if you’re weak to Ice because of Mitsuru, is that why Wind hurts me so much because of Yuka-tan?
Yukari: Huh, I didn’t notice that before, but yeah.
Nico: It’s interesting how both of the guys in our team are weak to the girls of our team.
*eyeballing Mitsuru being weak to Junpei*
@@KingdomKing13well yeah, Stupei can catch girls off-guard lol
Concerning about sending your teammate ahead to scout:
Yes you're a man down and it's easy to get the items along the way, however think about this, you could use this opportunity to gain little more EXP for not only your current party but your personas as well since EXP is divided between the number of members you have and your own personas gains half the EXP you gain. The other thing is making exploration much faster for the most part. Hope this information was useful!
Whenever you initiate a battle in Tartarus, the music will remind you to hang out with BEBE
BebebbebebebebebebeAAAYEEEAHH
Nico likes Bebe?! You know what this means guys? Nico might FINALLY learn to do a decent French accent!
I love how Nico Bizzle just transformed into Nekomaru's son
1:30 Persona 4 had the killer boss then the giant eyeball spaceship thing right after though unlike here it healed you and there was a cutscene seperating it not a walking portion. Also's Rise's shadow followed by Shadow Teddie.
I'd like to think you don't hang out with Kenji because you actually like him and want to be his friend, but instead so Bizzle can encourage him on just so he can watch him crash and burn spectacularly trying to hook up with the teacher.
8:20 I think you're misunderstanding scouting. The party member will find the stairs, allowing immediate fast travel to the next floor if you want to. This is especially useful on higher floors.
They'll immediately rejoin you on the next floor. When they rejoin you, they'll hand over any items they found along the way, including items in chests and items from breakables. A little bit of the next floor will also have been mapped out by them, as well. Overall, it's a net positive in my opinion.
Finally some Kenji time.
Having one of your party members scout ahead can be handy, as they'll instantly map out the floor you're currently on and grab all the items from unopened chests (except the ones locked by twilight fragments). So once they've run ahead you could go straight to the next floor (as they'll have found the stairs) should you wish to and then you'll be instantly reunited with them on the next floor. They'll have also mapped out some of the next floor and potentially grabbed some items.
The only down side I'd say is that they don't gather stuff from the breakable items, only you can break those and gather stuff from them. You also get more experience individually when there are less members in your party, since the exp would be split 3 ways instead of 4 (so those 3 get more than they would've done per fight compared to filled out party).
They actually give you a random amount of the items you get from breaking the pillars too.
There is really no downside to it I´d say.
@@Beny763 Do they? I must've overlooked when they do. Personally, I can think of one downside/reason not to do it, but it involves a feature Nico hasn't unlocked yet.
1:13:20 so I just realized after seeing this teacher nicob did not get his free courage point after exploring tartarus
Bebe is definitely one of my favorite Social links in P3R and the voice actor dose an amazing job at making his character so fun
Ryuji: Oh SURE that random shady student can say "fuck" no problem, but it took ME a WHOLE SPIN OFF to be allowed to say it!! This is BULLSHIT DUDE!!
Kenji: *does literally anything*
Bizzle-kun: God I want to P3 myself....wait.
I absolutely adored Bebe in the original, so happy they did him justice in Reload
Akihiko being weak to ice confirms that he is indeed, whipped by Mitsuru.
I still don't understand Nico's hate towards Kenji XD
Me neither x)
Like, i would definitely get it if he just found him annoying, immature and so on, but _douchey?_
The extra scenes are cool like the add-on scene with Ikutsuki on the rooftop with the little garden is new and a great add-on scene (like Junpei´s extra scene and the Computer games you can play on the dorm back room) to increase your status or boost the personas. ^^
Bebe is an awesome social link. He is a foreign student with interest in japanese culture, so he uses some japanese words when he talks. It´s so sweet and understandable. ^_^
I like to see more of them and looking forward to the next part. ;-)
I was hoping Nico would pick the "I'll be back" option. XD
Scouting just makes everything faster, when you get the options you are usually pretty far on the current floor, so it doesn´t hurt too much to lose a member, and they rejoin immediately on the next floor. And the next floor will be partially explored already, so it just saves you time.
Also it could be that the scouting partymember finds a few more additional items than what you would get, but I´m not sure on that.
It also allows immediate fast travel to the stairs even if you hadn't found them yet. That's pretty useful on the larger floors.
@@Gestrid 100%! I always did this in my playthroughs for this reason along with the fact there may have been a hidden chest and the AI even back then were good at finding places you missed
40:44 oh look, it's the voice of the other Makoto who's also in Student Council and has a Persona
I don’t hear it
@@Pikaman20008 Not sure how you don't, as Cherami Leigh has a distinctive voice. You'll hear her again during Fuuka's Social Link. She shows up with a friend whose voice actor is Morgana's.
16:08 something to note of is that the white statue fight you fought at the listed timestamp is an example of a Tartarus boss with a much more pattern inclined fight as opposed to simply tank and spanking your way through an encounter.
It's pattern flag here being [Clairvoyance Statue has identified your weaknesses] and it's hard to spot in the moment, but the boss actually will specifically target your other 3 party members weakness with single target spells one at a time and will only aim at your main character after the boss scores a once more.
The gimmick resulting in you needing to guard accordingly with your party members as the boss will target each of them in a specific order that you can identify in the first few turns, while using your safe party members to attack or heal. A fair few fights from here on out in Tartarus can be just as gimmicky as this fight, with something of a win condition to make the fight easier if you can identify the pattern.
So in general, if you see the boss spend a turn for some flavor text, odds are you have to keep an eye on the details to give you an edge in the encounter, hope this helps.
I think the VA adds a lot to Bebe's Social Link, it's very charming.
I'm calling it now. Before this game ends, Kenji will have become one of Nico's favorite social links.
If nothing else, it's the funniest one so far. 😂
Kenji's just like: "Man I can't wait to get groomed😃"
Meow
FYI
1. it's a good thing that you learn about the "bring the same persona to a social link" this early, cause later social links can sometimes doesn't give enough even if you answer everything correctly
2. There are still a few people you need to advance their social links to unlock more, I think at this point you need to advance Yuka & Kenji (cause you already got Bebe & Tanaka)
3. The sick person is for later, he will be unlocked once you got a certain party member
One trick for the Clairvoyant Relic is that it's first move "Analyze" forces it to do two things:
1. Attack your party members with their weakness (aside from the MC)
2. Attack your party members in a predictable repeating sequence
I believe the first can be abused since it can't learn your weakness and just uses Ice (that seems to happen in the video, I can't remember my own playthrough), so switching to a Persona that blocks / absorbs Ice means you are safe from Game Over. If you need to have a different persona up most of the time, you can simply switch to the ice defence on your "turn" to block (see below) and you get to keep attacking with the MC.
The second just forces you to recognize the pattern, and block with the next party member to be targetted, although you need to keep the turn-order in mind so that the right character is blocking when the boss does their attack. By blocking you significantly drop the damage done by the boss since they will only ever hit one person, for half damage, and never knock down their target to get a once more.
Basically, due to the boss's predictable nature, you basically just need to waste 1 action blocking, and if necessary, a second to heal each round.
Bebe is actually one of my favorite social links in Persona 3 he's much more likeable than a certain other social link in the game.
I love that Bebe ended up saying it in the exact same tone you did. Bebe is best boi fr.
I really hope once the dlc of this game comes out.
We get a remake of the answer(it's crucial to the story, despite a lot of people disliking it)
And femc/Kotone Shiomi route in this format.
Give Kotone the love she deserves!
I mean they remade this entire main timeline of p3, so just remake Kotone's route.
I understand Makoto's route is the main timeline, so I get why they'd focus on doing entire og first. But Kotone alongside the answer(remake) should be at least included as dlc later down the line.
Mr Edogawa: You're a wizard, Bizzle-kun!!
Bizzle: neat...
What do you call a cat with a mask.... A purrrsona... I'm not sorry
No, the answer is Morgana.
I'm going to have to sleep on that one...
...wait...
@8:30 There is a good reason to send people ahead. Sometimes they open chests and will open even locked chests without using twilight fragments. Another reason is that you just want to get to the next floor so you can save since you're running low on SP and don't want to fight everything until you get back to the ground floor and save.
Remember when random people came to you during lunch to ask if you could hang out? Now they just text you like a normal person in the current year of 2009
I really don't get the Kenji hate. I played through p3 reload myself and finished his social link and I didn't see anything in there that would make me hate him the same way nico does. I actually kinda like him. When I try to think of a social link in this game that's actually a douche then i'd say it's the moon
It's more about how Kenji doesn't suffer or reflect on the consequences of his choices.
@@roninwarriorsfan
ah okay but to say he does't suffer is a bit harsh considering what happens in his social link
but to dislike him so heavily just because you feel like he didn't suffer enough (wich he did imo) is still a very weid reason to me
it's like saying ''you don't have enough trauma so now i dislike you''
For the send a party member ahead thing, it just sends them to the next floor and has then get a bit of the map, some items from the chests and such, and it does this even if you sent them 2 seconds before you go up the stairs, and your only down a member for the single floor you send them out on. I've gotten that message so many times right on the last enemy before the stairs and sent them up, went up the stairs and they have filled out like a bit of the next map and got me like half the chests.
A French weeaboo shouldn't be a character concept that works, let alone a character that's genuinely endearing. And yet, Bebe defies it all.
Something I have not seen anyone mention but if you see the glasses dr give a lecture, get comfortable, you are in for a lengthy lecture.
Bebe rules, genuinely a very delightful social link
A bit funny that Joe Zieja (voice of Claude from Three Houses) is voicing Kenji.
Guy who'd successfully hook up with his teacher becomes guy who has no chance whatsoever of rizzing up his teacher.
What a cruel world.
i feel like if Nico actually met Kenji their relationship would be something like Gilgamesh with Shinji from fate UBW Abridged where Gilgamesh is forced to take Shinji everywhere he goes but is very accepting of anyone who wants to kill him.
1:07:34 Kinda ashamed that there is no animation on Nico Bizzle/Makoto Yuki sleeping during class
SLIMEY!!! I missed the little guy. Although in the first game I remember you using him in he just started off as a slime and then evolved into different creatures. I think he ended up as a sort of reptile the furthest you got? It's been a long time.
Bebe is a lil cinnabon
Bebe: I've been trying to join the fencing team lately, family thing, desu.
Nico: Why not go and join the kendo club, then?
Bebe: A long tale involving my father, whose sword could cut all but not be seen.
Nico: Huh, didn't know fencing was that cool, and your father sounds like a fun guy.
Bebe: Oh, hai, and he, like you, also had some strange luck with toilets.
Nico: Does he need to shit his brains out every day?
Bebe: Iie, he always got ambushed by enemies when trying to take a dump.
Nico: Man, you Frenchmen have it rougher than us, then.
13:24 Well maybe Junpei isn't getting paid for it, but MC with the money cards during shuffle time + all the loot make it a job for MC
22:48 huh, the costumes must be random then because I got the tuxedo WAY later than that
Scouting isn't described very well. When you send someone to scout, it's just just the current floor but part of the next floor that has its treasure picked up and the map filled out. Part of the map. Also, you just need to go up from the current floor to meet up with your scout, so all you have to do is send someone out, pull up the shortcut menu, and go to the next floor. However, locked chests are not collected.
Nico trying to start a social link with the ramen. Imagine, suddenly, the dramatic music shows up: new bond ramen acana.
Nico just talking to the ramen while ignoring Kenji.
It is very simple: he is Bebe
Bebe is the only one you could sing the Baby baby baby song and she'd think it was about her.
19:42 Well, I guess Bizzle-kun’s not the only bathroom inspector we have now.
I don't exactly hate Kenji that much. He is a horn dog, but whenever he's not doing that he seems to be complimenting the MC.
Nico, in 4 you get no break between Adachi and Ameno-Saigiri
Bizzle: “I managed to make all the animals break into tears… reminds me of my last trip to the zoo”
Justice just like Nanako!! 😊
But also Pancake detective Akechi too 😅
I always lose it whenever Nico sings the night dorm theme XD
I'LL BE BACK
35:05 Clearly, whoever made that program has never met Sally Jackson! Blue food is the GOAT
Fun fact about boxing gloves. Ever since boxing gloves were introduced, the number of injuries has actually increased. This is because while it does cushion the blow, it also cushions it for your hand, allowing you to swing with much more force.
40:06-40:34 I bet this part would on Persona 3 Reload 11's previously on segment
Hey Nico, I'm not really sure if you don't know of if you're just cutting it out of the video but there's a skill card duplicator in the shrine during the day, it's one per day and it's free; it helps so much when fusing new personas and getting a good skill spread. If you do end up wanting to grind for another 'spirit drain' card, they show up on Sword 3 cards on shuffle time which is around floor 21-28; you can also end up finding a 'drain ability' card in shuffle time while grinding for it there (it doubles the hp and sp gain from drain skills). Honestly, these two skill are a godsend in early-mid game and even late game; after this next full moon, I never had to use the clock to heal anymore.
When fighting a boss and/or strong enemy like the Clairvoyant Relic, sometimes it's better to forgo the All Out Attack in favor of buffs, heals, or just more attacks to try and dizzy them, giving you another free round.
You aren't a man down for a few floors. Just ONE, and because you can just fast-travel to next floor imediately and reunite with the party member, there's no reason to not do it, unless you are specifically looking for a rare shadow or something, which you can just circle back and grind for anyway.
I am very glad the social links have voice acting now. When I played the original, I didn't really care for Bebe. But hearing him actually speak is helping a lot making me interested in him
If you want to know if your social link is ready to level up its based on the sparkles they do, similar how P5 does with notes sparkles, for P3P the bigger the sparkles, it means they're ready to level up, its subtle but you can tell after awhile. But having persona will really help progress faster.
Nico you should try at least once to get into battle with the costumes on. there are some fun little changes
