Yeah, you can hear it all on streaming! And you can find their videos on UA-cam, although there's not a whole lot of their recordings still around, unless something else gets discovered.
back in the 90s the "what is Grunge?" formula was often said to have been... 1/3 Black Sabbath (Metal) , 1/3 Black Flag (Punk) and 1/3 Big Black (College/Noise Rock).... on the Drop D tip... the Texas band King's X, which had a lot of fans in the Grunge scene, also used the Drop D tuning and were reportedly part of the inspiration for using the tuning....
Oh interesting... I'm familiar with King's X, and they're hugely underrated. But I never knew Jeff Ament and Layne Staley were directly inspired by their sound... probably because King's X have that prog element that wasn't really a thing in grunge, I never thought about the similarities in the instrumentation. Thanks for sharing that connection!
Yo! I effin' loooove your channel so far and hope you keep making vidyas! Could you possibly use a different platform for mixtapes? Pretty please??? Kthanxbai!!!
@@TrashCanMary666 Thank you, I do miss making mix-tapes for people, which used to be a HUGE hobby of mine :D I'm thinking I'll need to start a Spotify account to better share playlists since that's a more common format. But it's also tough to find time to make a playlist for each video while sticking to my one-every-2-weeks video plan. I'm hoping I can find a way to start doing it again, though, even if it's not for every single video. Stay tuned for more playlist options, I hope! Thanks for watching my vidyas!!
Bam Bam is on Apple Music, awesome!

@@eclecticism-uk yeah. It’s messed up how much racism and sexism there is in rock music

Also, if you recorded these tracks to actual cassette tapes, I would buy them. Like 100% for real, no joking!

The teenage kissers are my fav grunge right now.
Oh wow, I'd not heard of them before, but I just listened to "Lightning Machine" and it's excellent. Thanks for the rec!
