$150 @ V-moda now. Only V-moda sells with the immortal life time warranty. Bought my 1st par of crossfade 8 years ago & still use them today. Bought wireless yesterday, we'll see how they hold up.
Hey, not a problem man! I might be new to your channel, but I'm loving it! Also, we're here to support you guys here on youtube, why not make it as positive as possible?
every DJ (but not one of em) uses these headphones for some great sound and comfort, they look great tho but for $145 I can't imagine the lifestyle, great review tho, thanks :)
Sorry to say it, but the two older models (Crossfade & II) headphones are excellent sounding and last rarely beyond two years of lighter use or one year of good use. Inside they`re not built as a trank as V-moda wants us to believe, standard plastics and wiring. The battery is most usually a cheap Kanyo unit and most headphones have their jacks fail after light use which kills the bluetooth on one channel. I`ve not seen a single branded component inside these, most is standard mass quality (lack of). And the screws are a pain to remove and re-install (without any glue on them) which indicates misalignment inside the headphone assembly. The calls or military grade and etc are sales stories, these are not built well but I admit they sound very good.
nice review. glad u mentioned the exposed cables. i think they look terrible & they don't do justice to the headphone's sleek design but i'm still psyched to get mine delivered today!
I do own the original (version I) Crossfade Wireless and have to say that, to my taste, they are / they sound too "boomy" (too much reinforced bass = too much bass-heavy.) Being pushed the sub-bass is ok for me, as these extra low frequencies are not being reproduced all the time and, aside, they give depth to the sound stage. But being pushed the mid-bass is an issue for me, as these frequencies are much more present and common on all tracks and, therefore, make the overall listening experience extremely tiring and, on the other hand, unbalanced (their mids and highs get recessed or "veiled" due to the prominent and unnatural mid-bass.) I wanted a similar sound signature on highs, mids and sub-bass, but with less mid-bass. And I ended up with the Audio Technica ATH-MSR7b's which, in my opinion, do provide a far better sound quality, because they do have less mid-bass (very controlled and natural), but same amount of sub-bass, a bit forwarded mids and excellent but non-sibillant highs. Overall, a very pleasant and balanced (yet deep) sound. With the addition of a revealing extra clarity / transparency to it on all of the frequency range spectrum, what is lacking on the V-Moda's (not bad though, but certainly one step behind.) However, I'll still keep the Crossfade Wireless cause they are very convenient (the ATH-MSR7b's are not Bluetooth) and their robustness / solid build quality is just top-notch.
How are they? Wired? Wireless? do they have aptx HD? LDAC is out of the question as these are from 2016. If they sound like the M100 on wired mode that alone is a reason to buy them.
The main thing I wanted out of this video was how the controls worked. I would rather have a dedicated volume control but not so with this, in explaining how this works, he jumps from the center button to the end buttons witches is confusing. Guess I'll have to buy and find out for my self and if I don't like, send it back
I've bought these awhile back, they are pretty good, more clarity than the 950BT. These are way better than the Beats Studio Wireless 2.0 just build quality alone. After getting these and Sennheiser Momentum Wireless, the Beats are a joke and hats off to the power of marketing. Also you should mention the battery life of these isn't crazy long, about 12 hours so I wouldn't rock these for long flights.
yeah, after seeing the Crusher Wireless have a battery life of 40hrs it is definitely disappointing that these only get 12. the average in this price range seems to be at least 20hrs
You deserve way more Subs man! Keep up the good work! anyone have a comparison to these headphones and the Sony H.ear On Mdr100? I'm torn between them, and can't find anybody comparing them ANYWHERE!
awesome, man. she wanted the beats wireless headphones but I couldn't afford those this year. hoping u get to review the sony platinum wireless headset. I trust ur reviews
I know they are built much better than the Sennheiser 4.40 bt which are $150 with 25 hour battery life but how do they compare and sound? Is the sound worth double the price because I love my Sennheiser 4.40
Hi! Can you do a review and comparison of the Amazonbasics on-ear and over-ear headphone models? Both seem really good and affordable, and I wanted to know what you think about them.
Hello!!! I have this headphones and I love them. I was looking for something different to try. How does this compare to the ATH-M50xbt ? Do you think will be an upgrade ??
4:15 u were absolutely right mate, i got mine and they got pulled a little and then the headphones just stopped working I had to send them back and i got replacements
Great video once again! PS would u pls pls take a look at the plantronics RIG 600 pls. i heard its a very good sounding headphones at the price range of the LS20 and hyperx cloud 2. thanks. And great review as always😀
Gamesky Haha cool man. Honestly you got me hooked on those skull candy crushers. I want to get those one day since you said it blew my bt950's out of the water.
i was thinking of buying those. But do you hear a white noise when you pause a track?(when using bleutooth) or when watching youtube and you klick on an other video? pls lmk
It was good....just busy take care my wife she got her gallbladder taken out on the 23rd its been crazy here didn't even to get see any football last weekend
I have these and the beats studio wireless. The beats are really not bad as people made them out to be, but the v modas are far better in all ways except portability because they don't fold
I WANT TO GET ATH M50X WIRELESS & THIS OR BOSE QC35 OR THE SONY? WHICH 1 WOULD U CHOICE? i have the v-moda same as yours but its cross fade LP IS NOT WIRELESS.. HURTS MY EARS BECAUSE I WEAR GLASSES 24/7
kntwing Between the 3 m50x qc35II or the sony im not sure what sonny but im guessing u meant the 1000xm3 It depends on your use if you need ANC or not but I would take the sony for my use
"Built to last" my a$$, every friend that got these i've had to fix for them; SMD components like the headphone cable jack are low quality and look like they were soldered on by a Chinese pre-teen who would get punished if they used too much solder, break after a few tugs. Had to bend the mic/ground pin on one back from shorting on the right audio pin and reinforce the cracked casing with hot glue so it would stay, then re-flow the solder adding a decent amount to get them to reliably play wired in stereo without cutting in and out. Nevermind the chinsy head strap construction where you have to peel the pleather back to glue back in the ratcheting components once the thin rails they sit in break under repeated stress, nevermind the vunerable wires, nevermind the charging issues.
Really? That's pretty kickass. I'm getting myself the M100's in a week or so so I might have to get the wireless some day down the road too. From what I have heard I'm going to love the sound signature of the M100's
what are you doing with all those expansive headphones!? lol i hope i could even get one of the fairs you have does the youtube videos giving you enough money to buy those headphones?
Barak Lahav I definitely can't afford to keep them all. I do allot of buying and selling so it kind of all even so out. It's hard for me to keep a pair because I'm always wanting to try something new
Gamesky yeah. but tbh I'm happy I got these instead if the QC35,s I couldn't decide on which ones I liked. my mom when she saw my graded (all A+) she freaked out and then she got me a JBL pulse 2 on top of that. I'm just Really happy. but you were right the Skullcandy Crushers are totally worth it.
Gamesky I got the Bose QC35s but I might switch for those just waiting for my local best buy to get some in and also I want to try them because I mean lol $400 is quite a lot for headphones so I don't want to buy something I won't like but if the ANC is at least decent and the sound quality is good then i'll buy them
I know this is very late but it would mean a lot to me if you responded. I have 200$ to spend on a wireless pair of headphones with good bass. I am considering these (vmoda crossfade wireless) or the Skullcandy crusher wireless. I would use these for music listening for now with my phone, but later on will build my gaming PC to use them for gaming and such. Also, I would like to hear details in game, and have the bass very loud, but not overpower the mids and such. But like I said for now I would just use them music. Do you recommend these or the crusher wireless?
$150 @ V-moda now. Only V-moda sells with the immortal life time warranty. Bought my 1st par of crossfade 8 years ago & still use them today. Bought wireless yesterday, we'll see how they hold up.
They won't..
Now 114$ on amazon
For high, mids & lows, I use Poweramp to equalize any of my sounds.
great review! do you plan on reviewing the new Crossfade 2 wireless? thanks
I'm looking at these, and I'd love to get them to upgrade a hell of a lot from my LPs. I love your review work man! Keep it up, please!
Nick Shelton thanks so much....really means allot

+Vault Boy DSO thanks
Gamesky you are welcome sir, hope you had a great Christmas yesterday
Vault Boy DSO I did, I hope your was good as well
Gamesky yep, mine was and thanks sir ;)
Don't worry, they all break after a few months if you actually try to use them to DJ.

V-Moda Crossfade wireless or Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT?
I listen to Rock & Metal music mostly, with lil bit of EDM occasionally.
Sennheiser
$99 on sale on Amazon.just picked this beast. Was on the list from long time.
Just copped them last night from Amazon
@@slizzmo Good Shit :)
For sound quality, this or MDR 1000X ? I really like punch bass in my music.
Btw v-moda said in a rescent video that if you flex the headband out it'll reduce the clamping force so they are a bit more comfy. hope that helps
thanks for the tip.
Gamesky no problem

They're 99 rn so I bought then with 2 day shipping cant wait

@@dariusmendoza880 they're wireless and of course wired with the aux they sound great with out the wire tbh

They are only 160 on Amazon right now... I say go for it
Hi!
Can you do a review and comparison of the Amazonbasics on-ear and over-ear headphone models? Both seem really good and affordable, and I wanted to know what you think about them.
i have actually thought about doing a video on those so I may have one in the future
Gamesky Awesome! I'll be waiting for it
3:55 This is exactly what I thought
Hello!!! I have this headphones and I love them. I was looking for something different to try. How does this compare to the ATH-M50xbt ? Do you think will be an upgrade ??
What Bluetooth version (3.0, 4.0, 4.2, etc) does the CSR BlueCore Bluetooth of the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless (model I, not II) correspond to?
what do u think of the Audio‑Technica ATH‑SR5BTBK Bluetooth headphones? I actually bought them for my daughter this Christmas.
haven't tried those yet. although Audio Technica makes great headphones
4:15 u were absolutely right mate, i got mine and they got pulled a little and then the headphones just stopped working

Moeischamp thanks, I will look into those. I'm always open to trying some gaming headsets
Just a question what material is those shields? Is it the gunmetal ones?
How's the latency when they're used wireless-ly?
Which is better Sen 4.40 bt or this one ..both are now in the same price..90$ and 100$..
Lol of course I'm going to ask you this question. How does it stand up to ath m50x. Without considering price.
Iamdudeman12 i personally like these better than the m50....but I like punchy bass and a pretty colored sound signature
Gamesky Haha cool man. Honestly you got me hooked on those skull candy crushers. I want to get those one day since you said it blew my bt950's out of the water.
+Iamdudeman12 they are my biggest surprise of the year. They are so good

Ali Imran I had them on my M-100.....they definitely make a difference
i was thinking of buying those. But do you hear a white noise when you pause a track?(when using bleutooth) or when watching youtube and you klick on an other video? pls lmk
Eddy Inocencia I do not
that generally only happens with headphones that have active noise cancellation
Very nice review!
Hallvard Vatnar Olsen thanks so much
