    I bought the OG crossfade wireless in Jan 2016 and they are still holding up strong. I even brought them on an eight month trip backpacking around south east Asia without the case (was trying to cut down on space) and they held up great. My bag fell off my motorcycle a couple times, got pretty wet on a bunch of boats, fell asleep with them on often in hostels, etc.. These are built like a tank. Wearing them right now while watching this video over 6 years later.

      Yes..,!! Iam still using crossfade LP2 as a EDC, i never babying it and always been in abused side, still going strong like it's brand new, the n3xt 2 months is it 7 birthday.
      Only provided earpads and band pad are peel off like crazy LOL, I've planned to made a custom authentic leather for the head pad because i really really really really love this headphones to the moon and back and to the moon again and back again.

      Love it. Everyone is so caught up in having ''all the features'' when the basics are not being done right. Do they sound great? Are they comfortable? Are they built well? Are they supported for repairs? V-Moda ticks all these boxes.

    People mad that this doesn't have ANC... VMODAS ARE THICK TANKY BOIS AND THE PASSIVE NOISE CANCELATION IS AMAZING! AS for the sound, the brand has always been marketed towards gamers and EDM enthusiasts hence the Bass Heavy sound sig. Vmoda tends to still have decent tuning that is punch and fun. People expecting something generic like Sony or Bose, or more balanced have no clue what Vmoda is all about sound wise. I've been using this brand since they launched nearly a decade ago and they are still one of my go-to brands

      I completely
      Agree with the ANC and the sound signature. Me being a long time fan and having the cross fade 1&2 the one thing that’s disappointing is the Lack of design change. This new one doesn’t really motivate me to replace my old Cf2

    There's no need to change the design because they perfected the design in my opinion and you can always change the shields to give it your 'own'

    • @timothyoyewale7
      @timothyoyewale7 2 роки тому +6

      I agree. No need to change their design on the crossfade wireless series. Many people have custom shields that they would rather keep until the wheels fall off. They've already changed the XS/M-80 design to the magnetic shields i.e. S-80. I think they should just focus more on improving sound quality over cosmetics in my opinion.

    V Midas are awesome. Best sound from one of the biggest drivers, 50 mm dual drivers vs everyone else’s 40 mm singles. Design didn’t change but like he said, “built like a tank. About to buy my 3rd pair only because I need Bluetooth. And I can use all of my old accessories because they didn’t change the design. V-moda made necessary improvements, I don’t need change just for change sake, if it ain’t broke…

    EDIT 01.2024: I bought a pair and I'm happy to report that V-Moda changed the plastic. It is now like a dense rubber and feels more flexible.
    ORIGINAL COMMENT: I had a pair of Crossfade 2 Wireless. After six months of careful use, the black plastic covers on the edges of the headband cracked. Reading through customer reviews, it seems to be a well-known issue since long ago. Shocking that the company thinks it doesn't need to improve its design.

    i bought the crossfade wireless 2 a bunch of years back, and when i got it you could see that the cables were defective and bent wierd because of the nylon they put around the wire and would over time weaken the inside of the cable. besides that they lasted a lil over 3 years of really ruf abuse lol i got stuck in rain a few times to while running and even then they, didn't break the build quality on these headphones are really good i would highly recommend, even when my original pair broke i had to buy another pair lol which is probably around 3 year's old now as well and still holding strong

    I shall never buy ANYTHING from them - got a Crossfade wireless and its left channel (appears to be one of the many issues with this headphone) died about 1.5 years after purchase. Thats why they give you 1 year warranty. Moreover, the faux leather cracked everywhere. Complete garbage - stay away.

      You can always use the shields from your older crossfade headphones, if you don't like the logo. That's what I'll be doing.

    Now why the hell did they change the logo? This new font looks so bland and friggin ugly!
