Hi João, my voice intercept doesn't work although a massage comes up that intercept is engaged but instead google assistant comes up. Do you know how I can fix it?
Hi João. I've been trying to follow this tutorial but the challenge is that your video is from 6 months ago, so a few screens are a bit different. Maybe due to updates since then. Anyways, my problem is that it looks there is no contact between tasker and chat GPT. An example of my problem is when I say: Hey Google "Get battery level". The interceptor seems to be working well. It gets the variable and I see in the bottom of my screen the text "Get battery level". But nothing happens. No voice back. It looks there is a broken link between the command and the reply. I bought tasker, I have added money to ChatGPT but I'm using the 7 days try out version of Autoinputer. Can you give any hint about what I missed? Tks.

Concerning your first problem: Your phone sends your transcribed question to ChatGPT via your internet connection, and then ChatGPT processes that input in OpenAi's servers, and then the result is sent back to Tasker, which then does its thing. So it's most likely slow not because of Tasker itself or your phone, but because the command depends on your internet connection AND OpenAi's servers processing speeds. Concerning your second problem: First, you should probably try to ask simple commands in 10 or more words, to see if the problem really is about the amount of words. Something like: "Hey google, I'd like to know if you please could tell me about the state of my battery? How much of my battery do I have left?" Second, you should look into the different Tasker tasks involved and look for Timeouts, and maybe try to increase its value. Here again, I would suspect that the problem is your internet connection. Good luck!!

Hey Joao, I see you make incredible utility Android apps, first of all thank you, I'm excited to explore now! Do you think that now (Nov '23) this is still the best way to trigger chatGPT, e.g. considering that now we have chatGPT for Android? Or I guess your route using API is for different use cases than the native chatGPT app option? I'd love to somehow trigger the native chatGPT app with a trigger word and get it to reply to me using voice.

same. Did you find a fix?
@@K4113B4113 sadly no. Had the app installed for quite a while now and just didn't use it.
Hey João,
Thank you for the video I geta Insuficient Quota error message on my samsung, can you help please?
Hi. That error is from OpenAPI, not Tasker. It means you probably don't have a valid payment method added to their website so you can use the ChatGPT API.
Are you able to normally get the app to reply to you using voice? I tested the app out, and it only seems to reply via text, right?
It replies with voice for me.
@@joaomgcdit got updatee
I thought that you would create something that would replace google assistant for ChatGPT, so I could talk to ChatGPT calling with a keyword, for example, when I say "Ok, Jarvis" I could start a ChatGPT conversation as normally we talk. Is there a way to to that with tasker ? 😮
Unfortunately there's not :(
Where can i get api key
Here you go: platform.openai.com/api-keys
Hmmm, my Pixel 7 Pro isn't letting AutoInput intercept the Hey Google command. It just continues with Google assistant even though i selected tasker to completely take over. Any help?
Did you select it to take over before or after the command is said?
@@joaomgcd Before. I pretty much just followed the tutorial step by step
@@arsh5213 Thanks. Did you make sure Tasker's accessibility service was enabled?
@@joaomgcd Yessir, everything is on
@@arsh5213 Weird. Does your Assistant UI look the same as the one in the video?
First of all, awesome work! 💪
But I have a problem.😢
I use the ChatGPT 4 version, and when I give a command after setting up the project as you instracted, I get an error message (doesn't matter what tge input is):
Error "error": { "message": "The model `gpt-4-0613` does not exist or you do not have access to it.", "type": "invalid_request_error", "param": null, "code": "model_not_found"
It's weird because I have a subscription, and I'm logged in to OpenAI and ChatGPT 4 itself and use it daily in my native tongue of Hebrew.
Also, can we use ChatGPT's great language detection and execution? I speak Hebrew, and almost all services ignore it.
Last thing, is it possible to perform Google Home/Smart Life (app) commands that control my smart home devices while I speak casually in Hebrew?
Thanks a bunch! 😊j
The payment for this API is separate from the regular GhatGPT4 use itself. Do you have a payment method here? platform.openai.com/settings/organization/billing/overview
I have this exact same issue, even with billing info current and funds available.
Dosent work for me 😢
hola Joao ,
is there a chance to integrate it with the chatgpt app iinstead of using the api?
How do you mean exactly? What integration would you like to have?
i mean using the mobile app @@joaomgcd
Hi, I'm trying to install it, but still failing.
A different question: would it be possible for Tasker to hear all my calls, and filter the necessary information automatically and write it into a note or even better put a date into the calendar ?
Sorry for bad English, but do you understand what I mean? That would be a godapp for every ADHD child like me
Hmm I guess u didn't tell all necessary instructions lice permission etc.pp. or I didn't understand everything what u said.
Hi. What exactly is failing when you try to install it?
@@joaomgcd thanks for responding!
It's a permission thing. I have to turn on debugging, wire it with PC und Download an ADB. I don't know how to use the ADB to give Tasker the permissions
You are just awesome! Really well explained
Thanks a lot 😊
Hi 👋 The official chatgpt app for Android just released can you do one of these setups without using tasker?
Hhmm, I don't this there's a way of doing that, sorry :(
This is the full tutorial on setting up the project mentioned here: ua-cam.com/video/LpX1hNMxVsI/v-deo.html
Import the project here: taskernet.com/shares/?user=AS35m8ne7oO4s%2BaDx%2FwlzjdFTfVMWstg1ay5AkpiNdrLoSXEZdFfw1IpXiyJCVLNW0yn&id=Project%3AHey+Google+ChatGPT
Will this work in other languages than english?
Yes it will :)
@@joaomgcd then I have to try again! The last time I tried to set it up something failed
You are cracked bro
Doesn't work anymore
Still works
Still works perfectly
Hey this thing is great. The only trouble I'm having is I'll say something like "hey google, let's have a conversation" Then itll say sure what do you want to talk about?" But it won't activate the mic and I can't respond samsunga fold 3
Try saying "Hey Google Chat, let's have a conversation" :) Does that work?
It says reached quota
You have to enable payment in the API: platform.openai.com/account/usage
@@joaomgcd how much does it cost?

Do you have plans to try to integrate Google Bard with Tasker?
Yes, whenever they open up a public API for it :)
Dah! this is too complicated, you lost me after 30 secs.
😮·😅
you exceeded your current quota please check your plan and billing details.
Am sorry can you helo ke through this situation? Should i pay or no?
If you want to use the ChatGPT API you need to pay OpenAI :)
@@joaomgcd how much per month? $10? Is it subscription or what?
@@M10Axels Nope, you only pay for the API calls you use. It's not a fixed price. Check here: platform.openai.com/account/usage . Again, I don't control the API pricing myself :)
@@joaomgcd it is per calls? How much i can spend on the API calls for $10?
Android users with Join, AutoApps and Tasker fully integrated with Google Assistant and Chat GPT:
Meanwhile iPhone users:
Hey Siri, what does the fox say?
Meow😂
The importer asked me about half the questions he shows in the tutorial
Thank you so much for making a tutorial video in this format very well done very much appreciated
Glad it was helpful!
I personally believe it's too much work, what would be easier is just one trigger for "hey Tasker" to start Tasker command, that'll be faster and easier unlike having to pass through Google assistant.
Unfortunately Google doesn't allow apps to do that, so this is the best next thing 😅😅
@@joaomgcd I get that, but im referring to something different.
Google assistant and Google voice search are different, even have different user interfaces.
I'm referring to a method were we call just the Google voice search.. Maybe with Tasker built-in voice recognition.. That's if they have something like that.
It'll be faster that way than going through assistant or having a glitchy interface at the start.
amazing, wish it was faster
Hopefully OpenAI can make their API faster with time :)
SICK..
👏😮.....
🙂
FYI Android Ok Google now has Gemini which can do all of this stuff so no meed for this anymore.
Got this error message when i tried to search using google assistant

Try using selecting 3.5 during the setup. Apparently 4 isn't available for everyone yet.
I keep getting a error code and my phone saying "%htpp.content " out loud when I tried to use the assistant.
