- The U.S. Army Chorus is one of our nation’s only professional low voice choruses. Established in 1956, this premiere ensemble has performed at White House, the Vice President’s Residence, the U.S. Capitol, and the State Department. In 2007, the group was featured at the State Dinner held in honor of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and in 2008 at the State Arrival Ceremony for Pope Benedict XVI held on the south lawn of the White House.
In this archived performance, The U.S. Army Chorus sing “They Say That In The Army”, to bring some levity to our day and give a bit of insight into the...ahem...unique joys of Army life.

My gf saw a [Marine/SEAL] and now I don't even rate.
Though that last can be substituted for any 'rival' group. Ie reserves vs regulars, army vs navy vs air, regular vs special, private vs idiot of sufficient rank to have people butt kissing to them, sarge vs the butterbar lieutenant (no I am not still holding a grudge a decade later...that would be unhealthy...of course I'm not).
It works in reverse too.
They say that in the army a lieutenant in bed is great. But now that they've had a Sargent, the LT doesn't rate.
Or something like that...
There's an entire subsection of verses dealing with "they said that in..." And sex or attraction.

Hooah! As an Army Veteran, I have to say that this is utterly hilarious and amazing rendition of the cadence! Makes me wish I had gone as a vocal musician instead of being a 42 series when I had the chance! Would love to see this in person!

4:33 that short SFC is the only one who had ever deployed and that looked like Air Force.
It's the band... At least in the U.S.ARMY those soldiers went though BCT unlike the Marine Band where band members skip BCT altogether 😂

Pretty sure that isn’t a running cadence. But the lack of Drill sergeant badges explains why this is labeled as such.
Usually a marching cadence, but I have run to it too. Not sure what made you "pretty sure".
Pretty sure the DS's sit around telling eachother, "yeah - you got a good running cadence and all, but it ain't to band/chorus standards."
