In watching this in its entirety- and in seeing the overwhelming love reaction from the audience, for any 'critic' to have ravaged the show (as some stupidly did), shows that some people can never admit how wrong their ears are. It's plain to see and hear that The Monkees were (and remain) a great group. Thanks again for another great drop Suzanne.
The Monkees were great.
Sweet beautiful Peter rest in paradise
It's great to hear Mike sing with his 'Monkee voice'
They sound better now than before, lol,, what great memories!!! Thanks!!!

Amazing. I didn't realize they all played so much of this tour with just the four of them onstage! Then the middle bit with Nez playing RIO!!! So much more of this is absolutely fab also!!!!!!!
What a great show ! ..!
As was said earlier. how could anyone honestly pan this leg of the tour is beyond belief... I love "listen to the band" into the "Porpoise" back into "listen to the band"..! that's what the Greatful.Dead do.. I'm blown away.
Superb as always!!
Thanks a bunch for sharing, Suzanne. The crowd was really up for this one and Davy was particularly high-spirited.

And who says Drummers can't sing
Mickey Dolenz and Jones were actors , Mickey had to be taught to play drums, Nesmith and Tork were already known in music circles as guitarist, Nesmith wrote "Different Drum" that Linda Ronstadt made famous before he started in the tv show, on their first album Peter Tork walked in the studio with his guitar and the producer asked "why are you here?" they were going to use studio players for the music tracts
