Large predator snatches mackerel from fisherman

Mackerel fishing on the edge. Not only do the boys have to battle their will against their quarry but they must also try to out wit a ferocious predator ready to attack and steal their quarry at every turn. But the boys battle through and are rewarded with a truly epic experience. Hope you enjoy.
Location:- Loch Long Scotland August 2012. Please only take what you can eat and put fish you don't need back.

It depends on the seal. The experienced ones have the knack of biting the body leaving only the head so you get the spinner back. But some do grab everything, but I always use barbless hooks which the seals should be able to through off. Most mackerel Go back.

Faslane naval base just round the corner.
They cannot be legally shot, without license, which you would never get.
Anyway it adds a extra layer of skill, having to use a strategy to catch the fish and outwit the seal.
