- Whoa! That was really CLOSE! Thank goodness MF was in range of my finisher at the end. Don't know what I mean? Watch it and you'll see. xD Aside from my pointless urging (lol), let's get to the strategy I used for Aqua.
Aqua's strategy is not that different from Ven's; just a few minor differences. In Aqua's battle, I used Lightning Ray instead of Photon Charge. Also, Aqua has Barrier and a different kind of counter than Terra and Ven. Nonetheless, the attacking pattern is still very similar: Shotlock and then Cartwheel away, or Get Hit by MF, Cartwheel away, Recover, and then Shotlock.
Like Terra and Ven, I used a guard/counter strategy aside from my Shotlock to do damage and charge up my Command and Focus Gauges. There are some things I want to note about Aqua's Barrier and her Counter Blast. First of all, Aqua's barrier is invulnerable to physical attacks from all directions, meaning that you can probably avoid MF's orb attack completely by spamming Barrier. She can also use her Barrier in midair (good for times when MF knocks you 50 feet into the air xD). Aqua's Counter Blast does not charge the Command Gauge as fast as Terra and Aqua's counters do, but it works extremely well in eliminating MF's clones.
When MF turns invisible, like Ven and somewhat like Terra, use Cartwheel to avoid his moves. Cartwheel has just about as much I-Frames as Dodge Roll does. :O! Anyways, I hope this fight is fun to watch; I know I had fun fighting it. :D

This was SO COOL to watch. I absolutely loved your use of aqua's barrier and seeing you utilizing finisher commands/basic attacks literally put stars in my eyes. You're my hero.
After defeating this guy once, I said NOPE, thats it.
Just realized that the same blade is used by Young Xehanort.
Wow to think this was a hint toward DDD.
He Is Young Xehanort.
Wish About a few months before DDD was released Nomura in an interview just flat out said that he is Young Xehanort with no ambiguity or evasive wording.

Awesome finish. Some of these boss battles are unnecessarily annoying. Its like the game creators want you to spend most of the time dodging and hitting every now and then.

Laser swords, Organization XIII robe...sounds like Xemnas to me.
Like I know this is 7 years old but Xemnas didnt exist yet and the cloaks existed before organisation 13
Similar to the Terra and Ventus strategies. Aqua's round-block barrier makes it a bit easier to guard (especially with clones and the laser attacks). Her ability to barrier in mid-air can be handy also. I was a bit braver and attack more but not as much as the reference.

It's actually his recovery attack where he stops you in time and resets himsel back to normal and then hits you with whatever attack he feels like doing. I hated it so much when I fought him.

@Firemasterlucky5 My differences were that I had Teleport spike as a finisher, photon charge as a shot-lock (kept that in this strategy also regardless of the reference), damage syphon ability, cures, air slide, homing slide, teleport, double flight, payback surge, and level 81.
I'm kind of having an issue with this fight honestly. I'm playing the PS3 KH2.5 version, and despite my best mashing Aqua is taking twice as long as in any videos I've seen to put up her barrier. If I can't get the shield up faster then I lose so many opportunities to do damage, but I don't know how to deal with it since MF cuts his combo short if I'm too far.
Great job! I have a question: I'm around lvl 55, I also have the Void Gear and pretty much the same abilities, but you seem to be doing way more damage with your keyblade on him then I am. Do you have any idea why?
The earliest time you can meld i think is around radiant garden, although you can lvl command faster through command board (it's quite annoying though). Also, you need to have two block in reserve otherwise the game just won't let you meld it.
@thenasterchief1 they're the points gained as EXP for commands. defeat tons of enemies while using stitch's lv. 2 D-Link for double cp
I kept it like my originals which I set up before the video was uploaded. I added damage syphon but added some action commands since I had her leveled up so high and to be a bit of a dare devil. I usually attack after avoiding the X-attack or if he was staggering from something like counter blast. I depended more on shotlocks though.

@battousaicrescent make sure you buy a barrier from shop first before you meld. for some reason you need a basic barrier alone because the game is programmed like that.
did you know you can use the barrier on that dark spheres that launch some sort of..... cables?

I have a ton of respect that you beat him this way. But even with your start you still gotta spam dodge for around 40 second straight. Also I never saw that rewind time.
MrMcKraut He can rewind time to counter any attack if it doesn’t give you i-frames (So basically standard attacks, and most deck commands except for Surges)

I thought Julius was pretty simple, myself. Yeah, he hit like a goddamn freight train, but most of his attacks were either easy to dodge or easy to block and he was susceptible to a variety of attacks. The only problem I ever encountered was him knocking some of my commands out of commission. That sucked.
No no no no, Young Xehanort was a pain, Julius is a fucking beast made only to make players ragequit.

It has been revealed in KH3D that the Mysterious Figure is actually Young Xehanort, who has the ability to manipulate time and space. Basically, he is Xehanort from another reality, who was recruited by Master Xehanort.

Sam Carlsen Most Shotlocks at Max Level don’t deplete the Focus Gauge a lot, and he doesn’t lock on many times either before using the Shotlock
whenever i use my counter blast it does no damage to him at all by i see when u do it it actually does some
depends on momentum u decide to to it, this is very random, i belive it happens becasue u counter blast as he starts attacking maybe
Can Aqua's barrier guard MF's Meteor or Mega Flare?
So, is there any reason you don't attack him during his invisible phase? You seem good enough to be able to follow the blades only.

This guy... Is a lot shorter in DDD. Really, he's slightly taller than RIku but in here he's actually a bit taller than Terra.
