Audacity with all pro tools, logic pro x, & studio one settings and got a great sound coming out of the studio, I'm studying & learning as you teach big bro 💪💪
He deserves every follower, likes, comments, and every dollar coming his way 💯 Very professional n knowledgeable and most importantly he a good teacher. His videos bring value to his followers consistently and his passion shows thru his work ethic.
Got a whole studio this just for people who just getting started. Wayne you too real ain't have to do this keep doing your thing you inspire so many of us
Thanks bro for taking out your time and giving free game. And also bro we appreciate your humor u dont make these lessons boring and koming from a street fella bro we award u the Rona hood Grammy of the year. Lol real talk g looking Fella
Can you make a video about how you got started in engineering and if possible include old mixes and explain growth 🤔🤔 very interested into people’s growth into their careers as a audio engineer and things that have helped them along the way
This is so informative, thank you! I've been trying to get into a studio for some time now with no luck, so knowing that I can setup a studio right in my home is such a relief. Home Depot, here I come!
You're a good man in a crisis WW Love the booth man. I think you can get pvc fittings that are 3 way/90 degree, so you don't need to cable tie. Could make it stronger too
That was a pretty dope video my friend! I don't know how many videos of yours I have watched but that's got to be the most physical one I have seen! But I really appreciate it cuz it's going to make a lot of difference.
Was first looking for tutorials on how to use Luna for recording and mixing yeee just got Apollo! Finally found someone who teaches what I am so looking for and more than that, you are the only one showing how fun it actually is! I keep smiling! Thank you for sharing all the great you are and your knowledge on music xx When for a tuto on how to record/set up recording of vocals on Luna?
@Wayne.wav Thanks for making this bro. Question: can't you also use a pop filter (I think I said that right) it's the filter that goes over the mic, instead of the studio blankets/walls, etc.?
Yes you can!! but it only helps with the plosives in your voice, not with the sound in your room. You can grab some cheap acoustic foam panels on amazon. Btw, I'm a producer from florida looking to work with more artist... Here are some free instrumentals for profit use: acewavbeats.com
my friend had a problem with his room and comb filtering, i had an idea to kinda turn his Closet into a vocal booth in a way, the part of the hanger, put tons of clothes to fill each part of the closet, put 2 blankets on each door, and put the microphone between the two door and open the closet doors slightly, while you're standing outside of the closet singing onto the mic which is inbetween the doors, really does help as a TRUE CHEAP ASS vocal booth
I'm wondering if you could make a sweeping frequencies on vocals video ? Idk what to look for . I use waves plugins , I'm tryna figure it out and I know you would explain it better than these other guys on UA-cam
Wayne.wav dope video, I'm actually in the process of trying to set up mine in the closet. Can you let me know the exact DR mic stand your using and does it have a tripod or round base? There's so many choices out there and I'm getting overwhelmed. I'm just concerned about it having the proper height for a pretty tall dude as well as not too big of a footprint. I appreciate any help.
@wayne.wav. Im working on building my home studio. And I don't have a computer. Can't afford a Mac Pro yet. So do you have any suggestions on a laptop I can get at the moment?
Hey Wayne! I have the same Apollo Twin & MacBook Pro, but my Apollo isn’t getting picked up by my Mac. It’s a usb model that I’ve used with my previous PC, but even with the adapter (usb to usb c) it’s not working. Did you have to purchase that thunderbolt cable for your Apollo separately and buy a different dongle? Would love to know man! Thanks 🙏
Great video may i ask what ram and storage space you got on your macbook im deciding if i should buy one or not i will only be using it for mixing my beats do you have any tips?
I subscribed because your music content is top notch. I have a question do you recommend the mpc live or would I be better off using my laptop? It has all the proper stats.
Extremely helpful. I am a new voiceover artist and really need a good home studio setup. I live near LAX and fighting with plane noise. Any suggestions?
Hey Graciela! You would need some acoustic foam to help control the sound in your space. Btw, if you need any free beats for your music projects, just grab them here: acewavbeats.com
So glad the information was helpful to you. I also struggle with LAX/airport noise. I adjusted my recording schedule and work late at night when planes fly much less. Usually between 2am - 4am.😉
Great video! I’m actually putting my studio in my basement and it’s (The basement) is partially finished . This gave me some great ideas I can try and see if it works out. If you have any ideas please share. Peace and blessings!
if any one is reocrding in his home studio, and his mac or pc fans are making alot of noise that its noticable in the Recording, try out NS1 by waves, just bring it up to inbetween 10 - 15 and it will get rid of the subtle background noise
I’m an instant fan, I recently subscribed and I’m loving it right now...I have some equipment but I would like your feed back on my set up...Let me know what I’m using is terrible gear please.
What software do you use to record?

What if you have a kaotica? Do you still need a acoustic treatment?
I had researched the PVC pipe booth in the place I was before but my room is smaller now. I did get the packing blankets though.
Great video may i ask what ram and storage space you got on your macbook im deciding if i should buy one or not i will only be using it for mixing my beats do you have any tips?
If you're quarantined and can't go out to buy a PVC pipe are there other options? Do foam isolation balls work?
This is very much appreciated, I'm about to get started on mine 👌🏿👍🏿

Empingao bro. it is awesome in cuban.
this set up is more expensive than an iso box on amazon. what do you think about one of those?
Wayne - Good vidéo, but wouldn’t it be more effective at stopping reflections if you stood the walls up in end so they’re taller?
What you think about the kaotica eyeball bro?
appreciate you man🙏🏽...you really help and motivate me to do things on my own dawg...keep motivating brotha💯

Jordan KRK5Z you can 1. have a long chord to be able to record directly, and/or 2. have a recorder and bring it to the computer for post processing
