As a beginner, I'd like to try this but the most important part where everything is put together is so fast,, I can't tell what's going on and I know nothing about building. I slowed it down but it's hard to see on my phone. Plus a list of necessary tools is helpful too. Thank you for the cool video, I'm so inspired.
This is the least cringy first upload in history great vids Also I may be wrong but cutting boards are generally HDPE (High density poly ethylene) not polycarbonate
Thanks for putting this out. Can you let us know what lego tire you used? I'm having trouble finding ones with the dimensions it looks to be in your video. I'd appreciate any info you have, even if it is just tire measurements. Thanks.
The diameter of the hubs on the Sharper Image car is about 27mm. You can use slightly smaller tires too because they streach a lot. Pretty much any tire around this size will work.
Would you be interested in putting your expertise to use? I'm a medieval combat specialist seeking a battlebot designer who is capable of building bots that I can fight gladiator style, naturally I'm seeking a real challenge, not foam weapons, so it is a great deal to ask and I understand any trepidation regarding my safety, but I'm extremely impressed with your knowledge and can assure you that every safety measures possible will be implemented while still assuring a heart-stopping, on the edge of your seat, authentic show of real life, gladiatorial, human strength and skill
No unfortunately I do not, but I recommend using whatever you have on hand for the tires. O rings, rubber, and foam are all ideas. Thanks for watching!
There are clips inside the hub, go in from the outside in the middle with a screwdriver and mess with the clips until you can get the wheel off. There are two prongs of the clip that need to be pushed together then it should release.
@@robotfightclub8349 Thank you! Me and my dad were doing this but we were afraid of breaking it, but it turns out it only needed a bit of force. One more question though, there must be a new version of the rc car that is dismantled to make the bot, as the copper sheet is not there. We think that the new metal-piece that is much more thick and is on the body next to the motor is the antenna, if you know anything, please help!
No, because it would not be able to generate enough speed to be effective. You really should use a brushless motor without a gear reduction, but a brushed motor (without gear reduction) can also work, but the spinner will be very weak.
All motors that you use for robot drive need to have some sort of gearing. Without the gearboxes these motors spin at thousands of RPM with no torque, so unfortunately that idea would not work
Omg omg you gave me a heart yay! Quick question I think I am going to use your exact tutorial but do you think I could put a metal sheet of some sort on top of the wedge kinda like a push bot ?
Hmm that shouldn't be happening because of any updates to the transmitter. I'm not sure what the problem could be other than loose wires or something being wired backwards
@@robotfightclub8349 great. My idea is for a steal frame agitation slapping bot with front and rear wedging possibly powered by a. car battery. I have drawn out a picture of its design. It would be with a curved wedge and sloped dome. Let me know what you think.
For a starting bot that's not something you should be too worried about. It's more to get the feel of how to build a robot so you can build something a little better later on.
Thanks for watching! If you have a name idea for the robot, please comment. Hope you enjoyed!
What about Robot Wrecker
Or shoveler
How bout joe
How about Low Blow
Mallet
Great video when’s the fight
Thanks! I'm trying to get a tournament together soon, but I don't think I'll use this robot.

Thanks! You're right, it is HDPE. polycarbonate would be stuff like Lexan. I must have misspoken.
Still a great video
This should be legit. Fight against a few toy robots then fight a Roomba as a boss.
Awesome video, the build turned out really nice! I like the use of cutting boards.
Thanks! Yeah, the cutting boards work really well. It seems like I use them in all of my builds.
I think you should name them underbite and it’s really smart idea thank you and have a great day
Great video thank you. My son got so inspired watching this
been looking up stuff like this for a while, gotta leave you a comment and say very nice very creative, thanks for the awesome video.
Me and my son built two of these. They came out great and work. Look forward to watching more of your videos
That's so awesome! Glad to here it
I got recomemded this but hey I'm not co paining I enjoyed this
Thanks, could you make another video where you make a weapon for it? That would be great
Thanks
I like this idea. I was at a competition today and this one got destroyed, so I need to build a new budget bot to mess around with at events.
Thank you! We appreciate all you're doing!
this is epic content you should make a discord server for questions
lol 800th subscriber
Could you do another video like this but with a slightly more advanced robot this video was amazing
I've been thinking about it, hopefully I actually do it one of these days. Glad you enjoyed!
@robotfightclub8349 yeah dude ive been trying to get into this stuff and this is the best video on youtube

Good robot build ideas uses things like small fans as saw something
What weight class is this recommended for?
1 pound antweight
can you add or make a comment on what color the wire combinations are
THE GOOGLY EYES 😂
how do you add a weapon say a saw blade or a hammer how do you do that???
Welp it looks like a robot punching bad I mean it's made of cutting boards

Hi! Do you happen to have the model number of those LEGO tires that fit those wheels?
No unfortunately I do not, but I recommend using whatever you have on hand for the tires. O rings, rubber, and foam are all ideas. Thanks for watching!
W😱W very g😍😍d invention. So simple and so beautiful

Id add more 'tires' on the inside edge of each of the four hubs..
Do you use the remote that came with the car or do you use a separate remote?
Could you do this without the gear boxes to make a two wheel wedge? Are the motors too slow?
All motors that you use for robot drive need to have some sort of gearing. Without the gearboxes these motors spin at thousands of RPM with no torque, so unfortunately that idea would not work

😂 you can use the car as it is the tires the frame the axles the body instead of taking it all apart just mount everything around it
Where's the fun in that?!
