The Power of Friendship are absolutely awesome bots. Not only do they look great with that orange-blue combo and the googly eyes, they were also surprisingly effective drill bots. You did some fantastic work there!

That fight with misdirected aggression is the first time i've seen the whole fight. All I've ever seen are little snippets where they actually drilled. This was one hairy fight. That was an amazing finish.

The motors aren’t Repeat Maxes and are actually the Mega Spark motors from Fingertech.
Also both bots used 4S Batteries.

i wanted to implement a sawblaze style design in beetlewieghts, how do you make that arm mechanism work.... like what are the electronics and controls
So I think the play with Catalyst was just to have a second bot that weighed less than the additional weight you're allowed with more than one bot? So its just a straight increase in the allowed mass of the functional bot.
shame about the weapon in the last fight. Could have gotten some massive weapon damage

So you can build a 150g bot and a close to 4 lb bot in the 3 lb class?
Couldn't you abuse the extra weight for multibots to go sneak in a 3+ lbs bot alongside a very small second bot?

Don't most events call a match as soon as a battery is exposed or notably damaged? Does NHRL not have battery hazard rules?
NHRL does not stop matches for exposed/damaged batteries. NHRL's cages have a negative pressure system, so if the battery does get damaged they can suck out the fumes, along with lots of fire extinguishers and buckets of sand in the case a battery does get punctured 😁

this sort of thing is why i like combat robotics, not m=because of battlebot of robot wars.
Maybe try Diesel heat plugs from overhead.
Those pin counts in the second match sounded really fast. That ref or judge or contender is awful. Counting fast and way to loud and half the times he started counting both bots were moving making it not a pin countdown situation.
