Sorry for a bit log of a review video. Keeping food cold is a big part of camping and can be difficult when trips stretch longer than a couple days. 12v Portable Fridges are a great benefit to fix this if you are car camping or overlanding (really the same thing, just a bit more offroading) but they still have some caveats to get the max efficiency out of them. Because of their small size it's not the same as having a big residential fridge.
BougeRV provided the fridge for review, but my condition was that I was free to be 100% honest in the review. They were a new company to me that I had seen a few times online so I was very curious to try their gear hands on and have been pleasantly surprised both with the product and the company.
Filmed around Moab in summer and on the backside of the La Sal Mountains to escape the heat overnight.

Maybe not the most professional when in front of the camera, but I like to be thorough in a review.
After so many years of camping, exploring and now overlanding, the 12V fridge is probably without a doubt one of the best investments I could have made. Using a solar panel and "solar" generator (i.e. battery) and I can easily stay off grid for weeks at a time.
When are you going to make an "Explore Southwest" trips again? I really miss them.
th e12V frig (ours is an Engel) is a game-changer when used with solar.
Our 12v fridge is indispensable.. We take it everywhere. Ours is also a BougeRv.. Just a different model.
How long does the battery last? How many watts does it use while running? That’s some of the more important things I’d like to know. Thank you.
If you want a single zone, can’t the divider just be left in place and each zone temperature adjusted the same?
You might want to fix the name of the video. It’s “Bouge RV” not RougeRV…
